This season PSG also wants to make a big difference in their performance in the Champions League, because they have many quality players and also have a coach full of experience. Well, I want to see PSG break their curse to be able to win the trophy this season, even though it will be impossible considering that other teams are stronger, but football is always full of surprises.

Realistically, we can't expect PSG to enter into the final with the current squad. PSG was not as strong as when the club was still having messi and neymar who were regularly scoring for the club. PSG is starting from zero again after many players were leaving from the club last seasons.
Just wait till PSG is going to face equal opponent or even stronger one compared to the PSG. The question on everyone's mind is how long PSG can continue their journey in the UEFA Champions League. Im sure this is not psg's season.

In fact, both of them are in poor form so in my opinion there is only a slight difference in their betting odds, even though both of them were champions in the domestic league last season where Napoli won the Italian league title and Barcelona won Laliga, of course apart from that, this season both of them In fact, they are both in declining form so it seems difficult for one of them to get to the UCL final this season. The defeat against Villarreal in the domestic league is proof that Barcelona's defense is not as strong as last season and considering that the Champions League is Europe's biggest competition, the level of competition will be much fiercer. Rather than barcelon and why don't you wring intermilan or PSG? these clubs are capable enough especially for intermilan to go to the final again like previous season. Im rating bayern munich to be in the below intermilan in term of performance on the competition. I gave him PSG a lot of credit by passing the most difficult group in UCL now.

Get more enough time for Napoli attacking line Victor Osimhen return back to his club because left more than 11 days after playing in the AFCON final match, but can't guarantee yet he will return without injury or not looking on high intention with the final match against Ivory Coast.

I'd agree with that, Barcelona's Araujo honestly is a big flop and he should be amongst the list of players to be sold out so they can fund for themselves new set if players. He is really not that defender for the Barcelona defense.

I do not know what Victor Oshime would be like whenever he returns back from the African Cup of Nations Competitions. I'm most certain he'll be of reduced energy after all these strenuous games in the past few days.

It's actually quite an interesting situation: two mega-losers of this season meet each other in the 1/8 and both have a chance. But the result of the confrontation can be said to be “strengthened” since the one who gets eliminated will be doubly upset (since eliminated by a weak team) and the one who wins will be happy because he has reached 1/4. Barcelona is still the favorite in the eyes of the bookmakers, but I think that based on the results of the two games, Napoli will go further.

But the loser is Napoli because in the domestic league they dropped quite far but Barcelona is still said to be at a pretty good level in LaLiga but I realize doubts about how Barcelona plays because of its difficulty in every match to win.

This is the Champion's league so maybe it will be a little different the bookmakers make Barcelona the favorite it is still reasonable because this team is a team that is always in the Champion's League it's just that now many doubt Barcelona's steps now.

My choice would be Napoli @2.55 here honestly. 

As you know Barcelona are horrible with their defending. I still can't forget about that embarrassing performance against Villarreal...

Napoli are also not the best when it comes to defending but their chance is much higher compared to before now at least. Osimhen will also be back as AFCON finale is tomorrow and the Champions League game is 11 days later. With Osimhen's help I expect Napoli to get a win in the first leg.   

That's a wise decision and I don't think I would bet on Barcelona if at this point they couldn't convince everyone with their performance. The defeat against Villarreal in the domestic league is proof that Barcelona's defense is not as strong as last season and considering that the Champions League is Europe's biggest competition, the level of competition will be much fiercer. I didn't doubt Barcelona last season because they were so feared in Europe at that time and now everything has changed and almost 100 percent of the squad has changed with the new generation.

Napoli may also be almost no different from Barcelona but if we talk about Napoli in the domestic league they are worse than Barcelona but in the Champions League Napoli's performance can still be considered better. I think this will be a very tense battle and considering that the first leg is at Napoli's home ground, they have to win whatever happens as capital when playing the second leg at Barcelona's home ground.

Everyone needs to stick with his own decision as things are going in last few games with now we are just few days away from this match and mostly players those are busy into their international duties will be also back, so things could be interesting but as we have last few matches and both teams will be having good attack here I lost to go with over because in away match we can expect good number of goals from both teams which will increase their chances for the qualification into next round.

Barcelona defense is not good, but their attack is good and Napoli will also try his best for having better result in this match as they are improving in last few matches even things are not good as they needed due to lack of players depth but still after coming back of Osimhen now we can expect good performance in this game from them.

Predicting Barcelona to win Champions League is like hoping Manchester United will win treble, it's impossible. Barcelona will either lose during top 16 or top 8 final, there's no chance for them to move further except they're very lucky, just like Inter in the last season.

In this season, there are more strong teams than the last few seasons, but Barcelona isn't included in strong teams.

There is nothing to expect from Barcelona this season, their inconsistent performance means they are not taken into account in this competition. Barcelona was once a strong team, every team would be afraid when facing them. This season is all just a memory, it is easier for Barcelona to lose points in the domestic league when facing mediocre teams, especially in the UCL which is dominated by strong teams from different leagues.
Barcelona was not one of the teams ready to fight for the UCL title, they were fortunate that during the draw they were met with Napoli, whose fate was almost the same as theirs, so they still had a chance to qualify for the quarter-finals.

Actually nothing is impossible, but realistically when looking at Barcelona's performance this season, it is very far from being able to become champions, unless they are very lucky in every match they play in the Champions League this season. They've been on a downward spiral, which is why we have deep doubts about them being the favorite to win the title.
If we compare their performances with other more solid clubs, we will see the difference. If I had to choose I would also say they don't deserve to be champions this season with their inconsistent performances like that. Unless they can quickly make their game more promising again, maybe I will think again to consider them as one of the favorites to win the title.

Well, this is the game of football, you don't write anybody off. No doubt  about the fact that Barcelona have been performing inconsistently lately even on their local League, however I still fill they can come up with something don't forget that they are currently 3rd position on the league table, This is the champions league and it's the home of surprises. At this point in the champions League everybody is the favorite to win because some clubs have enjoyed the long break and a lot of things have been improved in their performance.
