The result from the domestic league was indirectly affecting the performance from the club. I think that this is having strong correlation. I remind you that if the club must have strong mentality but due to the lost streak in the domestic league and it can make the situation becomes very different.

I think that the performance in the domestic league can give snowball effect to the performance from the club in the UCL. For me the little surprise can be Atletico taking out Inter the last subchampion.

There would be no surprise if Atletico eliminates Inter Milan, it is a 50/50 game and neither side is the underdog in this game, they have equal chances of winning. I know Inter Milan are flying in the Italian Seria A and they are top of the league, whilst Atletico are not doing so well in the Spanish LaLiga, but nonetheless the two teams are of equal strength and it would be a game that will be decided on the finest of margins.

I also think this match is 50:50 because even though Inter Milan is the favorite to win in Serie A but we know Atletico is a strong team. Atletico is ranked 3rd in the standings and we know that La Liga has a level of competition that is slightly above Serie A, at least in my opinion.

But the first match is played in Italy so I think Inter Milan have a slightly bigger chance of winning that match because I think being home gives you an advantage.

Regarding these two teams Barcelona and Napoli, we know both teams are not in the good situation but the Barcelona we see is very fact from the good days they had in the last season and in fact, they had a good performance and could even beat Real Madrid in some games but now they are losing some key players because f getting injured and this means they are even close to losing the game against Napoli which means Napoli is very lucky to play against Barcelona while they are in the bad form.

But this is just "on paper" like I said. We should assess this matchup more reasonably. You know Barcelona are having really tough days.    I couldn't believe my eyes while watching the Barcelona v Villarreal match especially. Xavi even announced his parting ways with Barcelona this summer. While things are very complicated there Napoli have a really good chance ahead.

I mean Napoli aren't in wonderful shape maybe but they have an opening to beat the favourite of this matchup.

His sharpness will not dull as a striker and with the addition of Kevin De Bruyne, we will see this duo shine again in the Champions League. Inter milan and Atletico Madrid, well this is going to be one tightly contested match in the Round of 16 as they both have their strengths and Little weaknesses. Yes Inter are very good and have sharp attackers while Athletico are pretty cool on the defense especially when they chose to sit and watch you play. Well, Inter can also go defensive and hit Athletico with the counter. This match will be one very tight match in this round of the UCL and I think whoever goes past this stage will probably be seen as a title contender and I have high hopes on Inter going through to the Quater Finals.
