Honestly, it's quite surprising that Bayern Munich lost to Lazio, considering Lazio's recent lackluster form. Despite Bayern's own struggles, there was hope for them because, when comparing their performances this season, Bayern seemed to be outperforming Lazio. Additionally, Bayern has more experience player in champion league than Lazio, which added to the expectation of a Bayern victory.The fact that Bayern Munich didn't even manage to score a single target on goal throughout the match is truly embarrassing for the club. Looking ahead to the second leg, it's difficult to predict the outcome given Bayern's recent inconsistencies. However, one can't rule out a potential turnaround for Bayern, but their recent form certainly casts doubts on their ability to advance

Having more trust in Bayern Munich is what makes everyone think they will win the game, forgetting that Lazio has a well-arranged set of defenses. which Lazio end up playing a defence game since they know their opponent Bayern Munich is a stronger team than them. To me precisely, I will say that Bayern Munich should go and focus more on their performance to face Lazio in the second leg and to make sure they are able to have not less than 2 goals; if not, they will definitely be knocked out by Lazio. It will be very disappointing to see such a strong team knocked out by Lazio in the round of 16; that means they were not even able to meet up to the quarterfinals. It will definitely look somehow for a team like Bayern Munich. 

PSG already have the lead over Real Sociedad, although everyone knows that PSG are stronger than Real Sociedad and they also have more experience than them, so definitely we are not even expecting Real Sociedad to win but to just try their best in playing the game and also appreciate them for making it to the round of 16, which makes me very sure that Real Sociedad will find it hard to go to the quarterfinals unless with luck but not against PSG. That is just a fact that can't be changed.

Bayern Munich's front line started to have a crisis of sharpness in the last two matches, they got more chances than the opposing team but none of the opportunities turned into goals. The dullness of the front line is a threat to Bayern Munich, defeat by Lazio could threaten Munich's progress in the UCL if Lazio plays using total defensive tactics in the second leg.

The recent Champions League matches were pretty boring. I wasn't impressed by Real Madrid against Leipzig and Bayern is definitely in a decline. Manchester City won without any problems, but I don't think that they are in their best shape. It would be nice if Lazio wins(or makes a draw) against Bayern in Germany. In the end, what the skeptics expected happened - Lazio was able to turn off Bayern's attack from the game, while they themselves were able to score a goal. It’s too early to say that Lazio got a ticket to the next round since in any case there will be a return game and it’s hard for me to believe that Bayern won’t score a single goal in two games with Lazio, but still now Lazio has a slight advantage.

PAG dominated Real Sociedad as expected but I cant say the same about Bayern vs Lazio. Unfortunately, Upamecano got red carded however, Bayern couldn't get even a single shot on target. They did take 17 shots but none of them were on target, which is surprising since they have a superstar like Harry Kane in their team. It is good that these are 2 legs, so, Bayern still have a good shot at going through to the next round.

When I saw the two fixtures of the two games played tonight, I thought PSG victory will be harder than Bayern Munich one. Real Sociedad is a good team and might pick a draw against better opponents, yet PSG managed to beat them by two goals, one of it was scored by Kylian Mbappe as usual!
Now in the other game, Lazio isn't consistent in Serie A but they won against Bayern Munich by one goal. The red card shouldn't be an excuse in my opinion since Bayern Munich could score a goal or even win with 10 players in normal conditions. That was simply not their day. Lazio should be worried in the second leg, Bayern will not let them pass easily and 1 goal difference is nothing after all.

The red card was hurting the club abd bayern's performance was so bad. It's very pathetic to see that how bayern was missing the chance to lead the match against lazio. Lazio is now having 1 goal aggregate against bayern which was not able scoring even a goal to help the club in equalize the result to the lazio.
I hope that bayern will able to change the situation during the second half. Bayern was taking the wrong strategy to face lazio. I have seen that how bayern was facing difficulty many times to win the club. That sucks and many bayern fans are feeling very disappointed with it and me as a bettor and i can't even say something regarding this.

I only watched the Lazio vs Bayern Munich match for 20 minutes. After that I switched to the PSG vs Real Sociedad match. During the 20 minutes of the Lazio vs Bayern Munich match, not many moments happened and in my opinion the match was a little boring.
The PSG match was more interesting and I was very entertained even though the first goal only came in the second half. Real Sociedad put up quite a good fight even though the PSG players who were included in the line up gave their best play to get the expected results.

If four matches give a boring impression, then four more matches will not be boring.
Napoli vs Barcelona and Inter Milan vs Atletico Madrid will be interesting matches.

Things were going relatively well with Tuchel before the winter.

it was a big mistake for the bayern management to sack nagelsmann, thinking that bayern was still the bayern of the era when robben, ribery, alaba, lewandowski, lahm etc. were still playing. tuchel will be no good. Despite the red card,I think Bayern Munich's performance was really awful, they were the least expected to lose that game but then the reverse was the case, i think their fans would really be disappointed at them losing to Lazio even though they're away from home. However it a good thing that they managed to defend properly after conceding a goal, which means there's hope for them in the returning leg. Thomas Tuchel should do everything possible to win that game else if they get kicked out in this stage then it means his managerial days at Bayern Munich would come to an end after this season.

 However the club that suprised me yesterday is PSG, they won 2-0 against Real Sociedad and their performance in the game was brilliant, does it mean that PSG are back in the UCL, could this be their season, well let's see how it goes. But I amazed that the were victorious without much help from their star player Mbappé in finding the back of the net.

I will not blame the red card received by Upamecano because from the start Bayern Munich played very badly. How can it be that one of the teams that is nominated to win the Champions League this season can't even break into Lazio's goal and they couldn't even get a single shot on target in last night's match. Not sure how much of that is caused by Tuchel's own doing though, especially with his latest comments on Barcelona's job. Anyway, hard to know the inside story without any bias as an outsider, but match-wise it is clear that Bayern failed to create any decent chance with 0 shots on target iirc. Maybe they got a bit unlucky too with the red card, seeing that they managed to arguably control the game to some extent before but failed to capitalize on it[1]. On the other hand, Lazio has a higher xG which might suggest they are more dangerous on the counter/attacking phase compared to Bayern, so 1 goal difference is probably deserved.

But what happened was the opposite and one of the Bayern Munich players also received a red card, which I had never thought about before the match started.

I'd be surprised if anyone managed to predict they would get a red card. Seeing from the stats, it seems like any interesting development happens in the 2nd half, so that's that. CMIIW.
