A draw is a sensible choice for the first leg, of course there is a reason why it is a draw. The form of the two teams in the Champions League is relatively similar and both are unbeaten in the group stage. I believe both teams will try to win the match and take advantage of the opportunities that exist, but Inter playing at home is considered more deserving of a high probability of victory. The team's performance in the domestic league is a reference, but I think the atmosphere of the Champions League will never be the same as the domestic league.

Too many people are not focusing on the mainstream teams like bayern, real madrid and manchester city while there was a club potentially to be the biggest threat for all of them, namely intermilan. I rarely saw people talked about this club but it brings my attention caused by intermilan gone to the final last season.
It's quite strange even bookies were not also putting it as one of favorite team to win the competition. Im only wondering why that happens? It brings my attention caused by intermilan looked like very underrated team right now.

Bayern is recently sacking its coach and the club needs time to adapt with the new coach while real madrid was also missing bellingham but this has very big chance to get into at least semi final. Manchester city has haaland and debruyne back again in the squad.
So, i will not count bayern munich as this club still performs so poorly. I would rather than pick intermilan to be in the same level as madrid and city compared to the bayern munich.

The money used to buy kane mean nothing for the club. he has been impressing many people on his debut but this is not straight with his performance till this time. Kane is rarely scoring and i don 't know why he was losing his instinct to score.

Inter barely beat Atletico Madrid 1-0 with a second-half goal. Atletico Madrid still has a chance to qualify the round. PSV drew 1-1 with Dortmund at home. Actually, PSV played well, but their quality was not enough. Dortmund has better quality players. Dortmund have an advantage because they have gotten an away goal which keeps them ahead of PsV especially. I think these both games will be concluded in the second leg.

Napoli Vs Barcelona 1st leg
I just looked up to the flash scores today and discovered that there is a very nice fixture in the Champions League between the Barcelona of Spanish la Liga and Napoli or serie A. I tried my best to come up with a prediction but it wasn't actually an easy thing for me to do. But then I still have to make an attempt.

It is understandable that both teams are not in their good form this season. While Napoli is troubled by the exit of their last season coach, Barcelona is troubled by a the history of non performance of Xavi in the European competitions. Barcelona has a more stable team but Napoli has more threatful players and have more courage about the Champions League. I might not be able to predict tonight's score but I will predict that Napoli will qualify above Barcelona.

Barcelona might be in a had position,  having issues  leaks and all that but when it comes to the Champions League Competition you have to understand that they're big dogs and have that upper hand with form and with whatever means they'd want to use to win. It'd obviously a win or draw in favor of Barcelona.

This should be the third time this season  they'd be sacking a manager in charge of the club, I wonder if they'd have a quick impact with those who have been appointed by the management right before  this clash against Barcelona.
Barcelona had a poor defence and defensive midfielder but the attacker's have done well in spite of all the challenges faced in this trying times.

I don't know why you think City cannot win back to back EPL titles, i mean, there is no complacency in the team at all, and Pep always gets his players fired up to win more trophies, notwithstanding how many trophies they have won in the past. Looking at all the teams that are in the CL right now, i think City have to be the favorites imo, they are stronger than all the teams and it would be so difficult to beat them in a two leg fixture. If City don't face Real Madrid until the final, then my prediction would be a City v Madrid final, and it would be a joy to watch.

Porto and Arsenal will play the first match of the Champions League 1/8 finals

Porto look like outsiders compared to Arsenal, who are in great form and showing impressive results. Arsenal have a winning streak with a big lead and they create a lot of chances. Arsenal's condition is crucial at the moment. I assume that Porto will have difficulties even playing on their field. Porto have experience in the Champions League playoffs, but Arsenal is a more interesting team. I expect Arsenal to dominate the game, even on the opponent's pitch. The Gunners are the favourites for this match.

In fact, I have reviewed these two teams in previous posts. yeah, between the Porto vs Arsenal match. so, now we will discuss more regarding the Staring Eleven predictions for the two teams that will compete early this morning. Dortmund almost became German champions last year and only some sort of curse prevented them from beating Bayern. So Dortmund is a very strong team that can play on equal footing with the strongest groups, which is proved by the fact that from the group with PSG, Newcastle and Milan they went to 1/8 Champions League.

They should have won the match with PSV, but the referee awarded an extremely controversial penalty, which should not have been awarded, because the Dortmund player played into the ball, not into the feet of the PSV player and because of the referee's mistake Dortmund lost 3 points.

There is no doubt about Borussia Dortmund strength, and they surely can go into next round with their performance at home in second leg match even I am also feeling this penalty was not right, but now all ended with draw and good for the German giant to improve their performance in coming weeks for having good chance for the next round qualification PSV also done good, but they need more experience and quality performance for this level.

Overall both teams done good job in this game and having equal chances but still I have feeling Borussia Dortmund can do better, but they are having some problems in last few weeks which are not allowing them for having enough goals but still their chances are good for having good end in both leagues.

This is an unsatisfactory result for PSV, because they played at home and failed to win the match and it is clear that even though Borussia Dortmund could not win, they will play at home in their second meeting, which means they will be more favored because they will play in front of the fans. their own supporters.

In my opinion, the match was balanced, so this draw is a fair result for the two clubs playing, even though there was disappointment within the hosts. The opportunities they created in this match were not much different, only PSV had several advantages. I don't understand why PSV were favourites to win the game yesterday. Dortmund are playing against the strongest clubs in the Bundesliga and PSV just don't have the same competition as Dortmund. In the case of Lazio, PSV were lucky to score a penalty. That's the only thing that saved them from defeat. In the return game they will have no chance to get into the 1/4.

Since the beginning of this year the Gunners have been very much flexible with the ball and their style of play towards goal has been wonderful, I'd give it to Arteta on how he has transformed the players and I expect more from them. The champions league has a spirit of it's own and you can see the worse team to be very strong but as for this game tonight I expect Arsenal to come all out like this is the last game in this competition.

I am curious, how good and great about Porto's defense at this moment or in this season because, in reality, Porto can still concede in the group phase and also, Porto can still concede when playing against Shakhtar Donetsk in the group phase. After all, if for example Porto only relies on defense but if for example Arsenal will continue to attack then yes, in the end Porto will concede too. The chances of each team will be different in the Champions League each season. It all depends on the depth of the squad, the team's performance and its best players. Real Madrid has some of the most decisive players, they are Rodrygo, Vinicius and Jude Bellingham. This makes Real Madrid the favorite and overall Real Madrid has a squad that deserves to win it.

Apart from Real Madrid, I think Manchester City is a team that also has a high chance of winning the Champions League title this season. Pep Guardiola plans to defend the title, but so far only Real Madrid has been able to do so in the last decade. I hope Manchester City and Real Madrid won't meet quickly in the Champions League this season, they might deserve to meet in the final instead of the quarter finals or semi finals.

Arsenal is in good shape currently and it now looks like they have bounced back from their drop of form, they have been winning matches and with this form FC Porto needs to be extra serious and elevate their performance in this game. If you look at how Arsenal played the last games against strong teams away, like Liverpool, PSV or Aston Villa, they could not win any of these matches. And Porto can undoubtedly be called a home team, so I don’t expect a major victory for Arsenal in this match, and I’m also not sure that Arsenal will be able to beat Porto.
In the match between Barcelona and Napoli, I would give preference to Xavi’s team, because Napoli were unable to show almost anything meaningful in the last games.

The way Manchester City and Real Madrid are in the same knockout level is a big set up, I can see that in the phase 1 of this knockout, Manchester City has netted 3 goals and there is no any doubt about it thag they are going to remove Copenhagen because the aggregate is 2 goals lead, if they meet next time, Manchester City will finish them. As for Real Madrid, they have only win 1 goal, it's possible for them to struggle in the hands of Leipzig.

If the two of them finish the knockout successfully, Real Madrid and Manchester City will meet and it's going to be another harsh game. The game is going to be one of the most watch Champions League match because the two of them are representing their leagues, but I have believed in Manchester City to beat Real Madrid, this is the perfect time for them to take revenge of what happened in the last 2 years Champions league on how they were eliminated.

I was almost thinking that if atletico could do nothing against intermilan caused by intermilan is far stronger than what i though. Atletico madrid could not even make a shot on target which was proving that if this club has horrible performance when it faced a team that knew so well the main weakness from the club.

The result from next game is very hard to predict. I would like to pick double chance caused by intermilan will be only having play away as its disadvantage which can be sorted out. Intermilan has a winning mentality and i think that problem can be sorted out easily.
In term of ball possession, intermilan was so doing so well as well as total shoots on target compared to the atletico madrid. Using the same strategy can be used as the main consideration to determine which club that is stronger than its opponent.

Intermilan has stronger squad compared to the atletico madrid. It's so obvious by seeing the result from the match between intermilan vs atletico in the first leg.

Inter Milan vs Athletico Madrid in the UCL Round of 16 was one very anticipated match especially because both teams play similar kind of football. Not just that and also as this was the first major teams for both teams especially after having a successful group stage phase. Talking about both teams playing same pattern, you can see both teams have same kind of quality and play almost same formation but Inter Milan proves to be the better because of how they’re performing excellently in their legaue as compared to Athletico. This fixture was evenly contested though Inter escaped with a narrow win.

 This narrow win now gives Inter the confidence of going to the 2nd leg in Spain. In the first leg, The Spanish Club weren’t able to dominate at all neither did they’ve any shot on target to threaten the goalie of Inter Milan. With this kind of statistics, I think Inter should already be seen as qualified. Inter will just need to come to the 2nd leg and play a defensive football with their composed defense line and midfield and have high hopes in their fast paced attackers to get them maybe a win or at least play out a draw. For this reason my safe bet will be on double chancing Inter Milan, as they have the better confidence and team in this fixture.

 Now Inter are sitting comfortably on top of their league and that’ll give them the liberty to foucs more on the UCL especially as they’re trying to make up for losing out on the final of the UCL last season. With this I think and believe Inter will sure be able to oust Athletico Madrid with a prefect gameplan at Spain. Athletico Madrid aren’t looking to sharp in the attack as they’ll probably have to put in greater work if they want to stand a chance against Inter Milan.

Borussia Dortmund finished the group which included Paris Saint Germain, Milan and Newcastle United as leaders with 11 points. Their only defeat in this group came from Paris Saint Germain in the first match of the group. Last season they missed the Bundesliga title in the last game, but this season they said goodbye to the race earlier. But they are doing well in the Champions League. Like you, I see them as favorites for the second leg against PSV. Also, I would like to say that the away goal rule has been abolished by UEFA.
