I had hopes and believed Arsenal would win Porto but they failed me tonight. The game is over and FC Porto came out victorious which was a surprise to me after they scored a goal in the final minutes of the game 90+4’ minutes. Arsenal didn’t look like they were ready and it is not the Arsenal from previous games, they recorded 0 shots on target despite having more possession of the ball. Porto had more advantage since they are playing at home and they made their fans proud by giving them a good performance to watch. They created more chances than Arsenal and were more dangerous with attacks but winning this match is not a guarantee that they are going to progress to the quarter finals. I think that Arsenal is not really prepared for a busy schedule because in today match their game was not very good at all because they were not able to pose a big threat to Porto. Statistically, Arsenal were only able to launch attacks with 7 shots but none of them were on target. This is where I think that they are not able to align their best form of play when a busy schedule approaches them. In terms of player strength and quality, of course no one doubts that Arsenal is stronger than Porto, but in football the strength of a team does not always guarantee that the team will succeed in achieving victory.

I am not sure if Arsenal has learnt any lesson. Wasn't it Sporting that eliminated Arsenal last year from the Europa League? Or last season I should say. They seem to have problems with teams from Portugal and even worse, it was exactly the same this time. Arsenal had the ball most of the time, but they did not have one chance in the game whereas Porto was standing deep and were waiting for possible counter attacks. I don't know how it is possible that Arsenal can't have just one chance against Porto. Of course Porto isn't just some club, but Arsenal is a title contender in the Premier League. What a boring game it was and I am happy for Porto because this result makes the next game quite exciting.

It's not safe yet for napoli or i must say the chance to lose in the second leg is very big for napoli. I will pick barcelona as superior in the second leg caused by playing at home will be impacting the performance from the club a lot. Im still wondering why either of them was not dominating the game.
I think that im feeling convenient enough to pick barcelona at the second leg. Napoli is not that strong this time with very wrong management that can't use the full potential owned by the club. Things are going even more crazily.
Porto will be going to the arsenal's home and the chance to win the game is very small. We do know that how strong napoli is and porto can use fully defensive strategy to make sure it can still lead the game till the end of second leg. The quality of players owned by porto are equal compared to the arsenal.

Not a large disappointment for Arsenal as they are still to play the 2nd leg in their home ground. Arsenal were a bit careless in the last moment and Galeno utilized it to score a spectacular goal. I still believe it would be an easy win for arsenal.

It's not entirely shocking that Porto managed to defeat Arsenal, despite Arsenal appearing to be in better form when you look at their performances in their respective domestic leagues. This is because Porto has also been performing well, especially since they were played at home. With the advantage of playing on their own turf, Porto came into the game with a strong presence and a solid strategy, which ultimately led to their victory.

I didn't see this game bit I'm certain to say that Porto defense was so relaxed because Arsenal had no threat on them defenders.  Like how do you go on to play such a hard game especially in the Champions League without starting with a natural central attacking player.
I believe the absence of a good number nine lost them.the game today and they'd be going back home to face Newcastle? There'll be problem for them most likely.

I didn’t actually watch the Arsenal game as I wasn’t really disposed at the time but. How do you stay dominant in the game, judging by the statistics I can find on the game, Arsenal controlled the game in possession but, they couldn’t even manage a single shot on target. I mean, what are we saying here. How could you hope to win when you aren’t even getting a shot across goal. It was extremely poor performance for me even though, this is just me speaking from statistics.
They deserve this loss and by the time the goal came in the plus minutes, there was absolutely nothing that could have been changed about that.
It’s the first leg of the round of 16 for them, maybe they would have a chance when Porto Fc comes visiting but, it was such a lost advantage for Arsenal this evening.
