What is your opinion about the PSG - Dortmund matchup? Honestly I believe PSG are here big thanks to their luck as well. That unbelievable red card Araujo got finished off Barcelona. This makes me question PSG's chance for even reaching the finale. Because their opponent in the semi finals is doing really good recently too. 

Dortmund eliminated Atletico Madrid which isn't really an easy job to do for even the biggest favourites of the title here. They did it in a really impressive way at the same time. I remember PSG - Dortmund games in the group stage but I still believe it might be different this time. Even if PSG advance I think it won't be easy.

In my opinion, a very random pair and although PSG is the favorite, in my opinion they are definitely not such big favorites as the bookmakers draw them. At the moment, the odds for getting into the finals are as follows:

Dortmund - 2.85
PSG - 1.43

An easy bet on Dortmund as they are underrated. I think the quotes are what they are more because of the brand and not the real strength of the teams’ play.

So we agree that if Araujo didn't make a mistake at that time and was given a red card, it wouldn't be certain that Paris Saint-Germain would qualify for the semifinals. but in fact, PSG did play aggressively against Barcelona before Araujo was sent off. that's why Luis Enrique's squad deserves to qualify for the semifinals of the Champions League, and the fact that PSG won the battle against Barcelona regardless of luck. well, in a previous post I said that Paris Saint-Germain has a better chance than Borussia Dortmund. apart from these two teams having met in the Group F phase, now Dortmund and PSG meet again in the semifinal phase.

Talking about Dortmund, Edin Terzic's team is struggling in its domestic league to finish in the top 4 of the Bundesliga. because, if Dortmund is unable to do so and falls in the semifinal phase. so it is a great shame that Borussia Dortmund will not be participating in the Champions League competition next season. so Dortmund must win all its matches in the domestic league, and also fight hard to appear all out in the Champions League when fighting against Paris Saint-Germain. IMO, Paris Saint-Germain has a far greater advantage than its opposing team, the chances of Luis Enrique's team appearing more focused than Dortmund who have to fight in two competitions at once.

I can recall the group stage and here they are again, when you check that last games between these sides, you'd see that Paris Saint Germans are taking the lead for the wins, and having just a single lose against Borrussia Dortmund in the Champions League Competition.

Paris Saint Germans will not disappoint like they did during the group stage, it's also impressive to see two teams from Group H ( HELL ) here together in the Semi Finals.

Parisians have currently seen some improvements, I'm not sure they will let down themselves against Dortmund, they will definitely fight for this position.

Even though Real Madrid is basically still a candidate team to win the title, but there are still a lot of people who expect Bayern Munich can qualify for the final, and that includes me. But about Dortmund v PSG, I really find it difficult to make a choice although indeed, maybe PSG is the team that has the potential to qualify for the final. However, judging from another point of view, Madrid was able to get rid of City, it feels like Ancelotti fleet will be able to beat Bayern. When you say that Real Madrid have got a healthy and strong mentality after you watched them play tonight against Barcelona and how they managed to beat the Catalan club in the stoppage time, I think you're absolutely correct but also think it'll not be a bad idea to remind you that the winning mentality of the team isn't something that started tonight or this season but have been a norm in the club's history. At Real Madrid, there's this strong belief that the team is going to come out victorious even in games they are probably few minutes away from losing and that mentality have helped the club achieve so many great feats.

That's right, we realize that this season Manchester City is tougher than Bayern Munich, and Real Madrid was able to get rid of the Premier League representatives in the quarter-finals yesterday. Therefore, it is natural to conclude that Ancelotti squad is able to beat Bayern Munich in the semifinals. If the scenario goes according to expectations then it is very likely that Real Madrid will be able to win the Champions League trophy this season. Whoever passes to the final between PSG and Dortmund, these two teams will have difficulty beating Real Madrid.

The form of Bayern this season is so unconvincing. The lost to Napoli is one big sign of them not being a strong contender for Champions League title. Their league performance shows that they can have a very good game, and then they had a big drop performance. The pattern is not sustainable for them to compete in Champions League against Real Madrid.

Real Madrid have played 12 semi-finals in the last 14 seasons. This statistics implies that Real Madrid is too strong for Bayern to face with their occasional form this season.
