You are right that teams from the Bundesliga have their own motivation in the Champions league but I think Dortmund is one level below PSG. This is different from Munich, which can be said to be on an equal level with Madrid, although I still favor Real Madrid to become champions.

Seriously speaking Dortmund are not a bad team if we can observed their last match against Leverkusen in the Bundesliga league they really perform in that match, and that's what is given some hope that Dortmund can put much effort and try their possible best and make sure they dominate the semi-final so that they can advance to final stage with full confidence.

Im still thinking PSG chances are really high, for a few things which im gonna write below.

First of all they have a super coach like Luis Enrique.
Second and super importnat, for the first time they are not below the main lights they are not a favorite to win the title, and they dont have anymore a super star team, like when they had Messi Neymar Mbappe. And this is less pressure for the players.
Third they play and easy semifinal against Dortmund, and the final is only ONE game where everything can pass.

Luis Enrique is a top quality and experienced coach, who has all it takes to find himself and his club in the next round of the competition.

You don't need a super star team to win the Champions League Competition, all you need is players displaying leadership, taking responsibilities for themselves, fighting for themselves, taking chances and wanting to do it for the fans and for themselves, togetherness included.

They don't need such a huge squad n more. Togetherness would do a lot for them. They have always been good they just lacked a good leadership to direct them.

Even though I have doubts about Real Madrid's chances of qualifying for the Champions League final this season, I give them full confidence to give their best. I expect Real Madrid to get to the final against PSG or Dortmund, then I definitely expect Real Madrid to win the title.

You are right about the pressure on the players. I used to criticize PSG a lot and said that the performance of the players in the offensive line decreased due to the mistakes made by the defenders. In 2014, Bayern Munich met with the Real Madrid at the Semi-finals of the Champions league for a contest like this and during that time, lost their game to Real Madrid with Real Madrid winning a goal over Bayern at their first leg in Madrid's home and scored a whooping 4 goals over none at the second leg in the Futball Arena Muchen stadium at the home of Bayern Munich. Then, Pep Guardiola was the manager of the Bayern Munich with the composition of star players like Mandzukich, Robben, Ribery,  Muller, Boateng and Alaba and the goalkeeper, Neuer was at his best too but they were beaten home by the Madrid with a 5-0 aggregates.

In 2018, Bayern also faced Madrid in another semifinals and lost again to the Madrid after the teams ended at a 4:3 lost against Bayern Munich in the second leg with Madrid winning over Bayern at Bayern's home in a goal difference.

In 2017, it was a quarterfinal fixtures and Bayern also lost to Madrid in a 6-3 aggregates with Madrid winning at both home and away.

Today, it's Tuchel's over Ancelotti and the first leg will be at Bayern's home, when Bayern is also faced with injuries right now. The chances of Bayern winning the first leg at this point  following the history of both teams, is very slim.
