I think Newcastle and Aston Villa will also be among the teams that can get past Manchester United. It seems to me that you are very positive about Man Utd, because they have not had so many changes in the off-season to expect that they will become stronger. I know that everyone wants to believe that this is possible, but I think that they will not be able to compete for the Champions League this season, at best it will be the Eurocup zone.

The good news is that they are putting in efforts to revive the team and bring it up to standard this summer, they have made some important attacking signings and still working on signings in the midfield and a defender hopefully so it is work in progress for now. I can feel the sadness in you, Arsenal fan. you guys never imagine that Manchester united can still attract good players in the summer even when they have no Europe cup football next season. The club is a big one and every players wants to play in Manchested united to be seen all over the wolrd, as club with the most supportive fans in the world. If you watch the preseason games, you will agree with me that Manchester united style of play has changed, the quality in the squad has really cause the change.

With the new signing the coach have no excuse to compete for top four and win title next season, all he asked for has been given to him, is just for him for rotate the squad and get the result for the fans, Newcastle and Aston villa has more games to play next Season than Manchester united, who are only playing premiers games, so they have more advantage to finish ahead of Aston villa and Newcastle next season.

Yeah, i'm also wondering the same. Newcastle may not sign a new striker if they got no pressure from Isak. They rarely spent money on the new players, while we know they have richest owner in the premier league. Also Isak's move to the Liverpool won't happen unless they get a new striker to replace him.

By the look of things, Newcastle united are new in this types of situation since the new owners took over because they should have known that it is not wise to keep an unhappy player at the club, because he is going to disrupt the harmony and rythme of the team if he is among the group, secondly, his value is going to plummet even further if he decides not to play and runs down his contract, so they should have been wise enough to sell him off, and use that money and enter into the transfer market earlier when much options were available, because right now, their options are few, and to be honest here, it's this their lack of ambition that isak has seen that has turn his head that made him want to move to Liverpool.

If Newcastle united really want to compete with the big boys, they must act like one in the transfer market, not showing less ambition and think that their top players are not aware of what's going on, so as it stands, the earlier Newcastle united accept this fact that isak will eventually move away the better, because they have to prepare for that.

Newcastle is currently facing a complicated situation, where they still hope that Isak will continue to play for them, but contrary to that wish, Alexander Isak really wants to leave Newcastle, especially after he was branded as a rat by most Newcastle supporters (it is even reported that Isak no longer wants to play for Newcastle). I think Newcastle took too long to make a move, so even though they have the potential to make a big profit if Isak leaves, but there aren't many great strikers left in the transfer window.

Newcastle must make a decision soon as the Premier League is about to start and the time to be active in the transfer market is getting shorter.

I must say that Newcastle put themselves into that situation, It wasn’t supposed to be this way for them, they seems to be having a bad window because they have been reckless with their decisions making in the sense that Alexander Isak already informed them earlier when the season ended even before two games for last season to end, he vividly told Eddie Howe and the management and the board that he will like to leave when the season ends, so the management now trying to play a hard ball which I think it’s totally unnecessary and they are supposed to have had a replacement for him now, instead of saying he isn’t for sell, you can’t obviously keep an unhappy player in the squad, because of his earlier decision and informing them earlier before now that is why it’s now a problem for the club and Alexander Isak and his camp.

This situation shouldn’t have gotten to this stage if the club had accepted the decision and decide to move on and try and get a replacement earlier in the window.

Saka will finally be able to play properly after a serious injury period he had last season. He is very important for Arsenal. Having him and Gyökeres both on the field is a huge plus for the team. 

I'm wondering how the new attacking trio of Cunha - Sesko - Mbeumo will answer Arsenal's deadly attackers. It might take some time for this trio to get by as well. Because all of them are new at the Red Devils.

This is exciting news for Arsenal fans. We know much it cost the team losing Saka to injury last season, I really hope he remains fit this season because Arsenal need him to be fit for their title campaign this season. For the coming Manchester United fixture, I think it will be an interesting game and Arsenal seem prepared as much as United are and in the end the best team on the day will win.

Yes, based on Newcastle and Aston Villa's performances last season compared to Manchester United's performances, and with more changes that we have not seen in the team, it actually seems that these two teams you mentioned may end up above Manchester United.but let’s know that the season is not just about changing most of the players in a team  what makes a team perform well also depends on the coach’s tactics.If I was told last season that Manchester United would end up in 15th position in the Premier League, I would hardly believe it, because I believe they don't have poor players.What really think it caused them to finish 15th? I may say it was the mentality of the coach. He was focused on winning a trophy, and that is why he fully concentrated on the Europa League, thinking that ending in a good position in the league was not a great achievement for the club.

If Manchester United had concentrated on both competitions, it's possible they could have finished in a good position and qualified to play in one of the European competitions this season.so, what I’m trying to say is that we should never look down on Manchester United. If a team like Nottingham Forest, which did not make many changes to their squad last season, could end in a good position, why can't Manchester United do even better?Football is unpredictable. A lot of surprises happen in football.

Bukayo Saka is a very important player for Arsenal and we can all see what happened last season when he got injured.  I am very happy that he is fully fit right now and I can't wait to watch his combination with Viktor Gyokeres this season.
Gyokeres is a proven goal scorer and playing along side Saka will only help him improve his goal scoring.

Yes bukayo saka is a very good player and that was why even when he was in injury it really affected Arsenal very well and as soon as he came back Arsenal became more inform, Gyokeres is a good player also and working with saka one on one will bring in a lot of goals, Arsenal has every opportunity to lift the premier League title next season all they need is to be very determined and consistent and they will make it through.

Some players may have been brought to Manchester United in this transfer window, but I still say that these few players will not be able to change Manchester United's performance much, rather, to improve the performance of this team, better quality players were needed in the team and some changes in some positions were mandatory. You must admit that there are still good weaknesses in Manchester United's defense position, as well as the players who play in Manchester United's strike position cannot finish the ball well. The part where I blame Ten Hag in his time as the manager for Manchester United is the part where he always got it wrong with his signings because he had the backing of the club and they gave him players he wanted and he made bad decisions which cost the club more damage even after he left, his predecessor suffered too with his signings so I blame him 100%.

I'm not sure about this but signing of new players are not only work of manager, collective effort of all the managers are out in place before they make list of players they needed for the particular market season. By the time they get the final boys sort out, they have to seek opinion of the management board to make the decision. I feel even if he has access to buy new players, he must make sure the club top people are doing the job together with him.

The odds are quite normal. 1.29 for Liverpool and 9.00 for Bournemouth. The home side has really low odds so no need to take that. Instead what about Liverpool & BTTS @2.29?

It is the first game of the season. I want to trust the away side to contribute with a goal too.

There were several and better opportunities to sign good goalkeepers but instead he went ahead to sign Onana for cheap amount of money but to make him come, they offered him a large salary and ever since he came to the club till ETH left, the goalkeepers is a menace and nothing to the club and yet I don't understand what the club plan on doing with him, it's not from a place of critiques, that guy is very bad.

Amorim has realize this situation that rumoured is Manchester United will look for new goalkeeper and i found one name which potentially will buy by them and he is PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma that after decided will not to extended his contract Donnarumma rumoured will be leave PSG this season it because rather than let him leave for free PSG most likely will sell Donnarumma before his contract ended

Amorim can't change anything until the players are ready. Look at what happen to Chelsea, Graham potter was just like Erik Ten Hag, even worser than him. Lampard came and there wasn't any improvement, that was even the worst aspect of his career, Pochettino did the same until Maresca came and change everything about Chelsea, he has only spend just one season but he appeared among those that is going to be best coach in the upcoming Balon D'or event.

What do you think happened in Chelsea transition state, it's not like the coaches are bad, they were good and that was why the club hired them for the role but nothing change until Maresca turn and he regurgitate the players, send some out as loan and the club became better than it was before his tenure. Even if the coach has a first class in his style, the players are going to stress. If I remember correctly, when Amorim came, the players were all excited winning all matches until it wasn't any longer, that means something is wrong somewhere.

€30m for Gianluigi Donnarumma who's literally on less than a year contract is quiet expensive for a goalkeeper, it would in the best interest of PSG to sell at a reasonable amount or risk losing him for free next summer.

The manager doesn't want him anymore, he has accepted his fate, the club must find a common ground for both parties to benefit but the €30m is quite too high.

In as much as I don't like Ten Hang, the truth is he came and met Manchester United problems but at the same time I can't also say that he didn't contribute to the problems in the team currently. Amorim has a big task ahead of him and I really do hope the Portuguese coach succeeds in his quest to turn Manchester United around.

So Newcastle for the second season in a row is not gonna made super spends and is gonna play with the same base team as the previous season?.

I mean this can be good in some cases for sure because the base is super important  and you know how every player play and if its working is the better to not make any adjustment, but since they have to play UCL i was expecting some more from them.

 Yeah, looks like Newcastle are taking the “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” approach for the second season running. Stability isn’t a bad thing — the chemistry in that squad is solid, and Eddie Howe clearly trusts the core he’s built.
But here’s the thing… UCL is a different beast. The Premier League grind is one thing, but when you throw in midweek trips to Europe against top-tier opponents, squad depth becomes ,,everything,,. Without a couple of quality reinforcements, you risk burning out key players by February.

I get they don’t want to go full “Chelsea 2023” and buy half the market just for the sake of it, but some targeted signings could make the difference between surviving in the Champions League and actually competing. If they want to stay at the top, standing still is basically moving backward.
