Till the 2025/2026 season starts in a few days, we can talk about how good Amorim's singing has been for the Manchester United squad this season. We can't begin to commend Amorim's performance as good till we see him winning a trophy or qualifying Manchester United for the Champions League. Anything apart from that, we can't begin to rate Amorim's performance better than Ten Hag's till that happens. So, let's calm down before congratulating Amorim for the signings he has made so far.

If Amorim's goal is to do better than in the last season, that's a very low set bar. Finishing 15th was an absolute disaster and I'm sure they will do better this season.
The real question is if Amorim can lead the team to the top 5. I have my doubts.
This Sunday should bring some answers regarding the potential of the team. Man United are hosting Arsenal at home, so that's a big test right from the start.

Manchester United performance has not been so bad in the pre season matches, but I just have the feelings that there performance will change when the season start, most teams don’t take pre season matches serious, so am not always moved by the way teams play in the pre season matches, let’s wait and see how Manchester United will perform when the season starts.

I don’t think Manchester United will be ending the season at the top of the table next season, teams that are able to end the season in top 5 are the ones which I will say they end the season in top position, and I don’t think Manchester United will be able to end the season in top 5, we have other teams that have a better performance than Manchester United that will be in those positions.

I really think Bruno Fernandez is really underrated, this is the stat for him and Wirtz for the 2023/2024 campaign but Wirtz was nominated for the ballon D'or and Bruno Fernandez was not, I don't really think if they are being fair with this guy, like he's good at what he does but people seems to overlook it, the year Manchester City won inter Milan on their first UCL trophy, Bruno Fernandez stat was way much better than icar gordugan but gordugan was the topic of that year, or should I say is it because he played for Manchester United? No wonder Harry said that Manchester United is the most hated club in England, and I'm begging to believe it.

Counting the days with Ruben Amorim incharge, a win is very important and competitive. Ruben Amorim is a tactical coach, he knows safe football and how to apply pressure towards his oppositions. The English Premier League is a tough League, a pressing force is required for Manchester United to win matches  and come forward as the reigning Champions, do you think Ruben Amorim can make it happen? Next season is going to be one hell of a season for the Red Devils. We know their previous records, they've been unable to match the require strength and expectations, winning is always priority.

But I think a slightly higher prediction could potentially be in the top 5-6, with the top four teams being Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea, and Arsenal. Manchester United brought in three forwards to boost their goal-scoring output. Indeed, they also need defenders, and United should have acquired a strong defender even just one. However, with 44 goals scored last season, this could indicate that Manchester United needs a good quality goal-scoring players. I think, this is the reason why Manchester United brought in three forwards. Let's see whether this trio can improve MU or not.

It seems to me that you are very positive about Man Utd, because they have not had so many changes in the off-season to expect that they will become stronger. I know that everyone wants to believe that this is possible, but I think that they will not be able to compete for the Champions League this season, at best it will be the Eurocup zone.

Manchester United may not have made many changes, but I wouldn't underestimate them. Last season wasn't a good reference. When Amorim took over, the team was already languishing in the Premier League, so they shifted their focus to the Europa League, but unfortunately, they failed there as well.
So, next season, Amorim will certainly build the team according to his wishes, and that's worth looking forward to, because I think anything is still possible.

It's kinda weird to see Newcastle don't meet our expectation after they being acquired by PIF. They only spend a lot on their first season, and even no improvement in their training facility. It's too far from what PIF promised before they bought Newcastle.

To be honest,  it's actually very surprising to see that Newcastle aren't making significant signings this summer. I won't say it's weird shocking. They went for Benjamin Sesko but couldn't get him a move I think they made because of Aleksander Isak's potential to Liverpool that didn't materialise at the end.
If Newcastle can keep Isak and other important members of the squad that finished last season with them, then I think they'll have a team formidable enough to challenge for the league title this season.

I think the best thing the both parties can do, I mean Isak and Newcastle is to part ways. This means that Newcastle is supposed to sign someone very capable to replace Isak since I know Isak can not perform well in the team due to the issues they are having already. The fans have been very against him recently, burning his jersey on the street and making mocking banners daily. In all, I'm pitying Isak because Newcastle is definitely making serious plans outside him. The signing of Elanga will be a boost for their attack already even though they still have to sign more. Isak move to Liverpool is very tiny since Newcastle will definitely raise the bar and make it so impossible for Liverpool to sign him at last and they will then confine him to bench or loan him out just like it happened between Victor Osimhen and Napoli. Clubs will always have a way to satisfy their own ego just to prove to the player they can do without him especially now their owner is extremely wealthy to map out any amount for any quality of players they may need.

By the look of things, Newcastle united are new in this types of situation since the new owners took over because they should have known that it is not wise to keep an unhappy player at the club, because he is going to disrupt the harmony and rythme of the team if he is among the group, secondly, his value is going to plummet even further if he decides not to play and runs down his contract, so they should have been wise enough to sell him off, and use that money and enter into the transfer market earlier when much options were available, because right now, their options are few, and to be honest here, it's this their lack of ambition that isak has seen that has turn his head that made him want to move to Liverpool.

If Newcastle united really want to compete with the big boys, they must act like one in the transfer market, not showing less ambition and think that their top players are not aware of what's going on, so as it stands, the earlier Newcastle united accept this fact that isak will eventually move away the better, because they have to prepare for that.

It was great to see Gyokeres score his first goal for arsenal yesterday, which should finally silence all the criticism against him, at least for now. Havertz hasn't been playing for long and am surprised that he had an outstanding performance today by scoring a goal in just 11 minutes.

The competition between Gyokeres and Havertz will be exciting to watch also between Madueke and Martinelli. Although, the athletic bilbao pre-season has been very disappointing, with six losses in seven friendly matches already. Surely, their lack of winning will absolutely display in the coming season.

I don’t need to make comparisons I just want both players to give their all towards the improvement and success of the team. Now that Arsenal have gotten their long waited striker I hope they be able to push past their limits to win the league title. The problem with Newcastle is that they are failing to accept the fact that Isak wants to leave the club, and he doesn’t want to play for the club anymore, Liverpool interest in him is well documented, but I’ve never seen a club that will want to keep an unhappy player that wants to leave the club which is totally absurd to me, from information that was gathered, Isak already told the club that he was going to leave at the end of the season, so I really don’t know why they failed to make every necessary arrange to get his replacement before it got to this point. I think Isak doesn’t mind leaving the club if they don’t get his replacement because I feel they had a gentle man agreement so I really don’t understand why that is an issue with the management and the board. I hope they resolve soon so everything will be settled.

The competition between players for starting spots will actually be very beneficial for the team, as each player has a strong desire to get playing time, so they will have to go above and beyond to perform at their best.
Regardless of who Arteta chooses, with the current crop of options, I'm quite optimistic about Arsenal's attack next season.

And as for Gyokeres, he's a quality player Arsenal fans have high hopes for. I hope the high expectations don't hinder him from performing at his best for Arsenal.

It's too early to start making comparisons. And if we're doing it, Kai havertz spent several games before getting his first goal whereas Gyokores did on his second. It's not necessary to start making comparisons as that would start affecting their sportsmanship but it's necessary to use that drive to push the club to the pinnacle of winning trophies as that was the reason they were signed.

I enjoy the energy that Gyokores had brought to the team and the way the others are working their strategies around him cause in the game against Bilbao, you could see that all the players were in sync and the mistakes, if there were, were not so many.

The good news is that they are putting in efforts to revive the team and bring it up to standard this summer, they have made some important attacking signings and still working on signings in the midfield and a defender hopefully so it is work in progress for now. Hopefully they will be good and strong enough to compete with Newcastle, Aston Villa and the rest of the EPL teams for top four in the coming season.

I can feel the sadness in you, Arsenal fan. you guys never imagine that Manchester united can still attract good players in the summer even when they have no Europe cup football next season. The club is a big one and every players wants to play in Manchested united to be seen all over the wolrd, as club with the most supportive fans in the world. If you watch the preseason games, you will agree with me that Manchester united style of play has changed, the quality in the squad has really cause the change.

With the new signing the coach have no excuse to compete for top four and win title next season, all he asked for has been given to him, is just for him for rotate the squad and get the result for the fans, Newcastle and Aston villa has more games to play next Season than Manchester united, who are only playing premiers games, so they have more advantage to finish ahead of Aston villa and Newcastle next season.

I must say that Newcastle put themselves into that situation, It wasn’t supposed to be this way for them, they seems to be having a bad window because they have been reckless with their decisions making in the sense that Alexander Isak already informed them earlier when the season ended even before two games for last season to end, he vividly told Eddie Howe and the management and the board that he will like to leave when the season ends, so the management now trying to play a hard ball which I think it’s totally unnecessary and they are supposed to have had a replacement for him now, instead of saying he isn’t for sell, you can’t obviously keep an unhappy player in the squad, because of his earlier decision and informing them earlier before now that is why it’s now a problem for the club and Alexander Isak and his camp.

This situation shouldn’t have gotten to this stage if the club had accepted the decision and decide to move on and try and get a replacement earlier in the window.

Saka will finally be able to play properly after a serious injury period he had last season. He is very important for Arsenal. Having him and Gyökeres both on the field is a huge plus for the team. 

I'm wondering how the new attacking trio of Cunha - Sesko - Mbeumo will answer Arsenal's deadly attackers. It might take some time for this trio to get by as well. Because all of them are new at the Red Devils.

This is exciting news for Arsenal fans. We know much it cost the team losing Saka to injury last season, I really hope he remains fit this season because Arsenal need him to be fit for their title campaign this season. For the coming Manchester United fixture, I think it will be an interesting game and Arsenal seem prepared as much as United are and in the end the best team on the day will win.

Yes, based on Newcastle and Aston Villa's performances last season compared to Manchester United's performances, and with more changes that we have not seen in the team, it actually seems that these two teams you mentioned may end up above Manchester United.but let’s know that the season is not just about changing most of the players in a team  what makes a team perform well also depends on the coach’s tactics.If I was told last season that Manchester United would end up in 15th position in the Premier League, I would hardly believe it, because I believe they don't have poor players.What really think it caused them to finish 15th? I may say it was the mentality of the coach. He was focused on winning a trophy, and that is why he fully concentrated on the Europa League, thinking that ending in a good position in the league was not a great achievement for the club.

If Manchester United had concentrated on both competitions, it's possible they could have finished in a good position and qualified to play in one of the European competitions this season.so, what I’m trying to say is that we should never look down on Manchester United. If a team like Nottingham Forest, which did not make many changes to their squad last season, could end in a good position, why can't Manchester United do even better?Football is unpredictable. A lot of surprises happen in football.

Aston Villa - Newcastle looks such a competitive fixture truthfully. The odds are also telling us this:

The home side is favoured slightly... Their latest fixture at this stadium was a disaster for Newcastle - 4-1.  

But this time we're just starting the season. Newcastle is happy to keep Isak for now but he doesn't share the same feelings tho. He is the key player for them in this match.
