We all know Carlo Ancelotti fumbled this pal just so he can have Neymar Jr in the Brazil national team right? Glad he's officially gotten the call up.

This player of the month was earned and merited from his hard-working and he will most definitely get more this season don't be surprised.

Yea, there's a lot of possibilities packed with this Xabi Alonso's system. At least , he is focused on the footballing aspect of the game. Congratulations to Pedro BTW.

I think missing out on the World Cup have been a blessing in disguise for joao Pedro, he had time to train well personally and even enough rest too after last season, same as cole Palmer. When they play we can see how refreshed and well rested they are. I think another thing helping them is that one game per week, they have enough time to rest and recover too.

Well deserved from Joao pedro, I knew the players of the month was going to be a Chelsea player, either Pedro of cole Palmer. Today they will be playing hill city, there is so much tension in this game, as hull city are still unbeaten and yet to concede goal this season, Chelsea on the other hand are the best scoring team in the league. I’m still confused as to whether it was appropriate to award the Premier League Player of the Month honor to Joao Pedro, because if scoring 2 goals and 2 assists is considered enough, then what about Bruno Fernandes, who scored 3 goals and had 1 assist in the same month. Furthermore, Bruno’s passing accuracy is far better, 86% (148 accurate passes), compared to Joao Pedro’s 66% (40 accurate passes).

That is  indeed a good start for pedro and Chelsea this season,  his performance last month calls for praises as he stood firm to help Chelsea step on there opponent in the last few games. With his consistent performance in those games I think he will become an important part of Chelsea's attacking line and will continue with same spirit except he is visited by some setbacks like injuries and lost of consistency,  then alone will his productivity at Chelsea's front line be in doubt which am sure won't be possible for now that he is in his best form.

Joao Pedro delivered a stellar performance for Chelsea last season, and his attacking prowess this season remains formidable, making it difficult for opposing teams to contain him. His style of play has been highly beneficial for the team; they have adopted an aggressive approach from the outset to secure a strong position in the standings. Furthermore, the arrival of a new coach has brought about tactical changes and a stronger squad composition, allowing the team to grow increasingly formidable over time. There is no doubt that Chelsea possesses a potent attacking line that poses a significant threat to opponents; given the way they are asserting their strength this season, they certainly deserve a spot at the top. However, they also need to bolster their defense to effectively withstand opposition attacks; doing so will ensure they maintain a strong position throughout the season.

This is the truth, Chelsea will need to work on their defense regardless of the strength of their attack and that is one of the reasons why they lose to arsenal, if they had the type or standard of Arsenal's defence. they would have not lost that game or the game would have ended in a draw but you will see that arsenal defence was able to contain them and Chelsea's defence couldn't contain Arsenal attack in any way and that really caused the comeback at the Emirates for Chelsea. because if you asked me, I can  say that Chelsea performed well in that game just that they don't have a good midfield and attack. but Chelsea and the front 3 are going to be dangerous this season and beyond, they just need the chemistry to complete.

Manchester City usually beat Manchester United at etihad stadium but when they visit oldtrafford Manchester United usually beat them back even if they are struggling. Because of Manchester United struggles in the premier league this season i want to bet Manchester City to win Manchester United in the Manchester derby i believe Manchester United current performance in the 3 games they played so far this season they cannot beat Manchester City at oldtrafford. Manchester derby is always an interesting game, i cannot wait for the derby to kick off.

I was impressed with their last yesterday with Sabah but I don't think that can make me want to change how Manchester United are going to win Manchester City, it's not possible. It's not even a debate, they don't have what it takes to win it that is why I'm doubting it. There is no way they will draw with Everton and win Manchester City, they probably win Sabah in the Champions League because they met one of the luckiest team that made it through from play off from other clubs.

There is two things involved in what will come of Manchester United, let's say they are going to do better, they win Manchester City, if they can pull that they can win their next 4 matches without any problem but if they lose to Manchester City, the next line features are going to use them for bonus in the table. Maybe they don't stand any match now till October when they face Tottenham.

Even as i want to bet Manchester City to win Manchester United i am still not convinced that Manchester City will win Manchester United because of the current record Manchester United have over Manchester City at oldtrafford, it is Manchester United poor start that want to make me bet on Manchester City. When i will be betting the games i have in mind, it seem i will avoid  Manchester United vs Manchester City game so that i will not regret my decision. Anything is possible in football, Manchester United can perform the way we do not expect against Manchester City, so do not say it is not possible for Manchester United to win Manchester City.

There were more deserving players for this award. I don’t understand why give him this award, he hasn’t done anything special to deserve this award. He didn’t score in the only big game they have had this season against Arsenal, so how is he the best player of the month when he didn’t show up in the big game they have played? Chelsea already lost a game this season in the league. Why is the best player coming from this team?Honestly a winner should have come from any of the clubs that haven’t lost a game this season.

Your right that chelsea has scored more goals than any other teams but you didn't mention that they have conceed the most goals as well. I want to believe that chelsea poor defence is not a new thing to you anymore,the fact that they have conceeded more goals shows that they defense is not in good shape and there's a need to fixed it.
Chelsea will concede goals in this match due to their poor defence,hull city will surely score,so the both teams are definitely going to score eachother.

I think this award is not specifically based on individual performances alone. If we look at individual performances, Bruno is slightly ahead and deserve the award but considering their different roles, Jao Pedro is most deserving for this award. Pedro is playing a striker role and you shouldn't expect accuracy pass from him because strikers naturally have fewer passes. Their major role is running and pressing to score. Bruno is a midfielder whose work is to distribute passes and control the game so he's expected to have more accuracy passes because that's his natural role.

Moreover, team performance also contribute to this award. Chelsea had a more fruitful month than Manchester United and that automatically put Pedro on a more favourable position. I'm not trying to justify anything but Pedro comes clear above Bruno in holistic statistics.

I am also confused, there are players that did more than him and worth the award. Maybe the two goals and two assists gave him the chance to get the award but there are players that performed better than him last month especially Bruno Fernandez of Manchester United who scored three goals, and perform well as a team player; also Alexander Isak of Liverpool also did well and scored three goals as well.

If we even take a look at how he perform against Arsenal, I don’t think he deserve the awards, but what can we do since he was given the awards, I hope he keep performing better for the team because they are the most attacking team in the league now, and they are at a very higher chance of winning the league if they can be consistent.

I saw a Chelsea Fans posting this somewhere on the internet, and I was surprised if he was trying to chase clout with the picture, I thought it was some Ai picture and I had to check out for myself if Joao Pedro really won the player of the month, I know even Chelsea fans are surprised how Pedro won the Premier League player of the month, personally I think there is an error somewhere because I don’t see any reason why Pedro Should be winning that award, for transparency sake there are better performing players who deserved to win this accolade, this award to Joao Pedro isn’t well deserved, there are better players in that Nomination.

Mate I was expecting you to listed out the most outstanding player in the league last month that deserves  the player of the month award, the management made the right choice Pedro deserves the award, he was Chelsea hit man and he scored and assisted.  I'm a Manchester united fan, I wanted Bruno Fernandes to win the award but Manchester performance against Everton cause him this one. There is nothing wrong given the award to Pedro let's not be sentimental all the time in this minor thing, when we see the truth let's say it regardless of the club we're supporting.

Barcola has played well since starting in the Champions League against Atlético Madrid, and I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect a goal from him if he starts in the Premier League match against Fulham.

There's no doubt about what you said regarding Chelsea's defense line, Chelsea football is known for their solid defence basically built under Jose Mourhino. For a very long period of time we haven't seen the Chelsea's defense line being this porous and weak that literally any team can penatrate even at home soil. Even when Chelsea's team wasn't having good midfield, their defense line was super solid that you can barely cross.

I'm not expecting anything less than a win after Against Hull city and losing to Arsenal last week end.

Yes he did play very well as a side-forward for yesterday's champions League game but I don't have to expect goals from him that even the odds don't necessarily equate to the odds, but if that's the way you put it, I want Wirtz to score his first goal, I hope he kicks straight from the box with no option to pass the ball to their attacking players.

It's only natural to see Fullham have huge odds, the previous 2 games had a lot of people doubting them, so victory is definitely Liverpool's tonight for the opening game of the week and I just remember that Anfield will help put tremendous pressure on Fulham.

From my observation of both teams, Hull City is good at defending and has a little good attacking side. As for Chelsea, their defensive line is not that good, and even their midfield is not as good as expected do to caceido currently out for injury.However, Chelsea’s attacking front line is very good and with that, it is likely going to be a tough match.Still, I believe Chelsea will find their way out and win this match. But I would not say that I expect Chelsea to score many goals  today as they did in like three of their matches because with result  Hull City have gotten so far it has shown that they are not easy to score against. In the three matches they have played, they have not conceded a single goal. They have two wins and one draw, which was a goalless draw against Aston Villa.Chelsea have the home advantage, which could help them win this match but it will not be as easy for them as many may expected.

You are right but if Pedro's performance is to be considered then instead of calculating the last month that means the performance of 2 months should be taken into account. Considering that, his number of goals is two and two assists which directly contributed to the team's victory. However, they have determined this award by giving importance to individual performance which is why he was declared player of the month even after losing to Arsenal.
To me, it seems right because the team's defeat does not hinder the evaluation of a player's individual performance and does not cancel the award.

Statistically, we can indeed see Man City as superior. But in a derby match like that, sometimes statistics might not mean anything once the game is underway. Each team will try to outdo each other and compete in strategy. Right now, the coaches are surely studying the strengths and weaknesses of their opponents. The result will depend on who will be better prepared and maybe lucky.

The game will be a difficult one, this is a Manchester derby and in as much as City looks stronger United can still cause them harm, a more shaky United have done it.

It's not like City are so much exceptional seeing some of games but United will also have to give their best in their backline in order to really make things tough for City.

I also hope for the same. I’m sure many people favor Man City, but there are many things that can happen and are unpredictable. Just like when we confidently make a bet that is certain to win, but something unpredictable happens on the field and makes our bet lose. This will be an exciting derby match for both teams and also for the fans. Hopefully, United and Man City will give their best.
