The first half ended in a goalless draw. Arsenal couldn't break the deadlock since Aston Villa wouldn't let that happen. It was a good fight from the home side in the first half as they stood on their ground.

Arsenal had quite a few good chances of finding the back of the net but they couldn't convert any to a goal. The second half has just begun, if Arsenal want to win this game, they need to play better than they did in the first half. Aston Villa is playing like they're going to win the game.

With what Brighton did to Aston Villa last week, I was expecting Arsenal to find this game very easy to win but the match is not really going as expected.What even surprised me in this match is that throughout the first half, Arsenal was not able to have any shots on target. The four shots they made were all off target. Is it that Aston Villa’s defence is really that strong, or is Arsenal’s attack just weak? Because I expected Arsenal, even if they found it challenging, to at least create some good chances in the first half.

With the way the match is going now, I no longer have that high confidence that Arsenal will win this match. What I’m expecting in this match is a draw, as both teams’ defensive lines seem to be so strong that neither team can break through.But anyway, whichever team wins the match, I’m okay with it because I did not bet on this match. I wanted to bet on it, but I saw that the odds for Arsenal to win were very small. I also wanted to add another game to the match to get better odds, like 2 odds, but I couldn’t find any match today that I was convinced would likely win and also had better odds.

But regardless I'm impressed with the progress, because to be honest we see a different Chelsea the one capable of competing for the title, at this point I will not hold back to gamble on them for a win.

Be careful before trusting Chelsea's performance with your funds, the season just got started with Chelsea still featuring against smaller clubs, do you think the club would sustain through the pressure of a full season without suffering severe loss for their lack of defensive strength? I don't think that they're strong for the title, chelsea have just conceded five goals in two games.

Chelsea competing for the league title is a possible end result but winning the league would be totally out of the picture. Arsenal are currently winning 1-0 against Aston Villa and I think the match will end with a win for them. It has not being an easy game for the Gunners but they still remain dominant in this game which makes them more likely to win the league if this form continues.

Manchester City might not be the best this season but they should also be amongst the contenders for the league trophy,  its still the start to the season so its still too early to make conclusions.

Three points for Arsenal and based on goals they trail to Manchester City who are now top of the league, even though Arsenal scored only one goal this is quite an encouraging match because they had to dig out this win away from home in a very unwelcoming Aston Villa arena.
Also to be frank this is such an upgrade for Aston Villa based on how they started their first match, let's also understand that they have lost so many players and those players are very important, they have made some important signings but they haven't yet been unleashed.

You know that since Brighton was an average team, Aston Villa won't actually prepared too much in terms of their mindset what will happen in the game, they might just take it as one of the games they might likely win without knowing what Brighton are having in mind. however in this game between Aston Villa and Arsenal you would likely see that Aston Villa are geared up into proven a point against Arsenal because Arsenal is seen as a big side. You could see how Arsenal struggled to win this game by 1-0, this is something I almost didn't see coming, I was already thinking it will end up draw.

They have not been impressive in the transfer market and I think it has a big part in their recent poor performance. Selling their best players and not finding a very suitable replacement for them is not ideal.

Visiting Hull City at their stadium will be another hell in a cell match for them. I don't expect much from them against Hull City, all I see is another point dropped.

Brighton thing was a trick. I fell for it too at first honestly. All those four goals came before halftime. After 40 minutes, Villa reduced to 10 men. Gomes got sent off. Their form was totally destroyed.

And Hemmings (19 years old by the way) was just stripping people left and right. White at 7 minutes. Saka at 10. This is a kid that was a superstar. The zero shots on target thing is poorly read. But Havertz had a literally open goal at 14 minutes. Saka blazed over the bar not long before that. These were not non-chances. The positions were there. The end result really was not

The real issue was Tzolis getting completely eaten by Cash on the left side the whole first half. But Villa realised quickly and moved their entire block across. Suddenly all things are going through Saka's side only. Predictable. Easy to defend.

Eze was introduced at the break by Arteta and it was a whole new ball game. 14 minutes later Saka scored. That is it really

Yes they did perfectly well on that game because for now its very difficult closing a game with a win because of how competitive and determined all teams are especially now they are working towards securing a good position in the table.

What do you mean by Arsenal's journey to win the Premier League last season? Last season, Arsenal shattered all speculation regarding their condition of always failing to win the Premier League because their consistency decreased as the second half of the season progressed until the end of the season.
Basically we understand it and almost all Arsenal fans realize where the weak point is.

Manchester City is still at the top of the standings because they were able to score 6 goals in 2 matches. Meanwhile, Arsenal only scored 4 goals in 2 matches.
Against Aston Villa. Arsenal were not so dominant because Aston Villa played in front of their own public and were able to provide resistance to Arsenal's habit of controlling ball possession, which is their habit every time they play a match. However, the final result of 0-1 through Saka's goal does not require us to say Arsenal played badly.
This season's Arsenal squad makes it easy for Arteta to make various choices. Just look at Gyokeres, who Arteta hasn't played in 2 games.

Well the tables always tend to look weird early on in the season like this but don’t worry, the real picture is soon gonna start showing after like 8-10 games have been played and when fixture congestion, injuries and the first real test hits.
Until then, it’s all just vibes and small samples.

We can say they've improved defensively. Although, in the Brighton match, they conceded four goals due to an early red card. If they hadn't received that red card, things might have been different. Aston Villa still lacks effectiveness offensively and struggles to score goals. Since they will be in the Champions League this year, they need to find a solution to this quickly. Otherwise, if they continue with their poor Premier League performance, they could face disappointment in the Champions League.

They are happy to have secured the three points because, although Aston Villa have lost their last two matches, they are a tough opponent and I believe they will climb up the table later on.
