It's such a shame that Aston Villa have turned into a joke this season, a team that was a threat to the hivh and mighty last season. I don't even know what went wrong with the team but their decline is high disappointing to say the least. They better put their house in order and turn the tide else they are heading to relegation because not even the newly promoted teams are willing to go back to relegation.  I expected that Aston Villa will even be challenging Arsenal and Manchester City for the trophy and not become the mediocre we are seeing now.

It seems difficult for Aston Villa to even make it into the top 10 this season. From my perspective, Aston Villa have had the worst start to a Premier League season. They are bottom of the table with just 1 point from 4 matches. The reason they have had the worst season is because they have played all 3 matches, except for the Arsenal match, against relatively weak teams. When they finished 4th last season, we expected them to improve this season, but now we are enjoying their decline.

I was expecting a strong win against Nottingham Forest at home. But they have performed so badly that even 1 goal seems unreasonable now. They deserved to lose by a much larger margin.

Maybe they thought that the Champions League will be like the Europa League that they won last season. They prepared very well for the UCL match against Club Brugge when they should have given that energy in the EPL matches. Anyway, they have Champions League title to their name, so they might basically be wishing for another UCL trophy. It's not bad to have such determination though, but it is not realistic with this current squad. Other teams strengthen their squad after winning a major trophy but for Aston Villa, it was the other way round as they sold their players instead of adding more players.

I don't think Aston Villa can come out of this mess anytime soon because they have already lost 3 matches out of 4 games, they only have 1 point which came from the draw against Hull City. They should just be careful because anything that makes them enter the relegation zone after the middle of the season, they should just prepare themselves to play in the Championship level because it will be difficult for them to dodge relegation.

It is really surprising that Hull City will dominate the league, they are competing very strongly against the big teams, and today's match was especially surprising to me, their attack was quite strong and they scored 2 goals in the first half, because the first half ended 1-2, they decided to play full defense in the second half, in the 66th minute Chelsea scored another goal to make the score 2-2, and after that Chelsea could not break down Hull City's defense despite many attempts. In the end, they kept the result against Chelsea in a 2-2 draw, which is really a big thing.
But on the other hand I am very disappointed with Liverpool's performance, their attack was very bad, they did not have a strong attack. Fulham have lost their previous 3 matches, they are not in a very good form, but it is really unacceptable for a strong team like Liverpool to draw the match with a score of 0-0 against this team. At least I cannot accept the match without a goal.

They were just playing like a relegation team cos tell me, how do you lose to Fulham that have not won any match since the beginning of the season and literally came to the match with almost zero points upon all the resources you have and the millions you spent to buy the players that were on the field? Make it make sense!!

It’s looking like they are out of the title race cos they are currently six points behind and with the way things are with them now, i doubt they would be quick and good enough to make adjustments that could put them it the race for the title, so it’s like they might be struggling to survive for a pretty long time the way i see it.

i've watched all of Hull City's matches for 90 minutes except for the Aston Villa game. so far, they look like a very good team. their defensive line and number 6 are solid.
imo team's biggest deficiency is the lack of a playmaking number 10. Oli McBurnie often drops all the way back from the final third to the midfield to receive and distribute the ball but I don't know how long that can keep going.

This is what Aston Villa should expect after selling off their big players to make profit they should not expect to turn things around with the kind of players they have in the team right now so after making profit with their best players they will keep losing until they move from being the strong wam back to an underdog. They were just lucky to have defeated Club Brugge in the champions League let's watch them when they play against strong teams they will be exposed and beaten more as they proceed.

Yes I can that at my end as that goal from Pedro has changed the trajectory of the game and Chelsea is now pressing while the Hul City players have fallen back to their own half, it's almost looking as if they're settling for a draw in any worse case.

As for Cole  Palmer he hasn't really gotten to a good fitness form as it stands now this season, he is gradually picking his form and has for sure being very supportive in Chelsea recently games. I don't know why Chelsea are missing their chances after scoring the second goal but am hopeful that with 76 minutes on the clock Chelsea can score a third goal to give Hull City their first defeat in the EPL.

For me, I believe Cole Palmer is in form if you have been watching Chelsea matches since the beginning of this new season. He didn't even perform well last season and that was why he wasn't at the world cup. Expect more from Cole Palmer.

Aston Villa have yet to get going as they'd hoped. After the games that they have played over the last few games, and their defence is a big issue, I'm not sure if they will be able to replicate the consistency of last season. I will not give them a clean bill of health, but I won't give them a poor one. Many teams have come up with many similar problems after receiving the Champions League football. Already a lot of pressure on them. Squad depth and rotation is a major concern, particularly when on the domestic league and European competitions simultaneously.

I believe that what they're having trouble with is that they're no longer playing at the same tempo they were before, and they're undergoing some critical changes.

Hull City is doing great for sure. but for them the danger zone isn't the bottom of the table. it's the top. finishing between 12th and 16th place this season would be a real success for them. Looking at their current squad and setup, even a 12th to 16th place finish would be a dream achievement

imo their current league position is feeding them unrealistic expectations... This team will eventually hit a slump where they lose 5 or 6 matches in a row and drop down to where they actually belong.

Lol...what is happening in the English premier league simply looks like a plot twist!

For Aston villa, I have no much things to say but I am confident that they will regain their strength in the league. They are not weak, I think they are trying to fix things in order..
Their result in the midweek champions league shows that they aren't as weak as we think, we have to give them little time to rediscover themselves.

Talking about Hull City, I don't know yet the kind of wonders they want to pull off, but however, it is to their own advantage. There's a saying that you should aim at the moon, even if you miss, you'll land at the star. Even if Hull doesn't make top 5, we are sure they won't be relegated.

Hull city is a team which most teams are suppose to be scared of when playing against them. Their performance has been so good this season, just 4 matches played, and I feel they should be able to stay in the premier league, I don’t think Hull city will be going back to relegation. They played against Manchester United, and they won, they tried to win Chelsea today, but they were not successful, the match ended as draw. Their performance wasn’t bad today, they played like a team that wants to stay in the premier league.

For me, I believe Cole Palmer is in form if you have been watching Chelsea matches since the beginning of this new season. He didn't even perform well last season and that was why he wasn't at the world cup. Expect more from Cole Palmer.

Palmer performance is getting better this season, he is beginning to have confidence in himself back, and we can see him get assists and goals in match. Palmer wasn’t in form towards the ending of last season, but right now things are getting better for him.

This is not me actually hyping the premier league but let’s be honest even though the clubs sometimes loses matches in premier league but most of all this clubs are not a match for teams like Aston Villa. Take a look at Tottenham Hotspur last season they struggled in the premier league but in the champions league group stage they were excellent and even finished in the direct knockout phase, so there is a very big difference between league matches and some champions league matches.

Aston Villa are seriously struggling and the major problem is scoring goals against defense that sit back at home this is because they can’t create chances and the striking option they bought is seriously not the one I think can take them to places.

I think the selling of players is starting to take effect for Aston Villa cause for a team that ended the previous league at 4th now having to just be at one point after 4 matches is very terrible, not even going to lie, that's very terrible and they need to start do some re-evaluation. Hull city on the other hand, I don't know but the team is starting to be a problem, the draw with Chelsea today, I wasn't expecting that at all, I had high hopes for Chelsea to take the match especially with the home advantage and all but a draw is better than losing I guess.

Aston Villa's performance this season is still something I still don't understand, like I know they let go of some of their key players, but is that enough reason to be this poor in the league? At least Newcastle United equally sold their key players also, but they are not as bad as Aston Villa, like what exactly is going on with the team, the challenge they gave last season actually made the league look more interesting, why not they come back with such energy, now they are struggling to win a match even, this is not really funny to me.

Oh Aston Villa…, what are they doing this season, this is a very poor start by their standards since Unai Emery. I had hoped that they’re getting back in form following their champions league outing against Club Brugge and they just cost me my ticket.

Hull city is a team which most teams are suppose to be scared of when playing against them. Hull City still undefeated, I think that’s one of the best results we’ve had in the league so far. The thought that was entertained by the majority has being how this Hull City team would end their 2 games unbeaten run when they play against Chelsea but that proved to not be the case.
Rogers got the first goal with Hull City coming back in front in no time and even took the lead right in the first half. This Hull City team might just be the very best this season, reminds me of Leicester City when they took the league.
