Do you know what I was thinking about today? Because Klopp has left Liverpool, the team will probably be changed a lot and I think that Liverpool will perform very poorly in their first season with the new manager and most fans will probably be disappointed. I would be happy if Chelsea could at least manage to play for the title again as a compensation, because the PL will be boring with just City & Arsenal as title contenders.

A season with just Arsenal and Manchester City going H2H would be a Little boring for me as well. I really don't know the fate of Chelsea as this point, as they are also bringing a new manager just like Liverpool. Don't know why Pochettino had to leave at this point in time when there is already a chemistry between himself and the boys. As for Liverpool FC, we might see lots of players taking the exit. I heard a rumor that Madrid are very much interested in Arnold, but I think Mo.Salah's departure is certain.

Let's just hope every team starts with a good form, so the season can be interesting.

This season was full of uncertainty for the Manchester United club and sometimes when you expect the best from them, they give you less and when you thought they could do less, they do more. The game against Manchester City was that which many would have thought Manchester City will win but for someone like me, I already had a feeling that Manchester United will win instead and that's what happened.

Manchester City played better be than Manchester United with all due respect but Manchester United made good use of the first half chances they had.
All I wished was only if they had such solid defense at the start of the season. Having Lisandro Martinez helped break Manchester Cities defense with those in between pass and it hurt them deeply. Asides that, he was also effective in hunting down Erling Haaland same way Rudiger and Tchouameni do it.

I hate the fact that they want to bring Thomas Tuchel to Manchester United. This Jim Radcliffe has got to be dump. We can all see how Manchester United fans backed the manager but these people are sick fvcks who wants to do whatever they like.
In my head 3 finals in two seasons and two trophies in two seasons is enough to back up the manager.

Just like he said, he will leave if they have no such plans of backing him up next season. They will regret it if they sack him. This INEOS knows nothing. How well is Nice in League 1 Competition even doing?

Manchester City was overconfident in utilizing a high defensive line to cage United's attacks and this is a very wrong strategy used by guardiola in this game, that could play passively against united and maybe city could win but that's also goalkeeper's mistake. The biggest issue was Ortega's nervousness when his opponent approached and going even closer to him.. It was clear that Ortega did not have much confidence in this game and i think that if things have been changing so fast for him. His error enabled United to lead through Garnacho's goal.
It's simply a miscommunication between him and Gvardiol. I'm still not sure why Pep doesn't use four backs instead of three caused by using 4 backs is much more effective in order to strengthen city's defensive lines. Pep was overconfident, believing United was a weak opponent.

This is why Manchester United was able to increase their lead versus City with two goals and keep these momentum till the full time. Finally, United did not become a trophyless team this season. It is also headed to the Europa League.This is unfortunate since Newcastle has no place to play in European competition and it surprises me. Newcastle may sack its coach as soon as possible. Im still hoping a miracelt to happen with united.

I was really surprised by the result of this match. We considered Manchester City as favourites. Because Manchester United team was not in good form. And the performance of this group is very erratic. But Manchester United's win surprised us all in this match.

This machete is completely dominated by Manchester City players. Manchester City players had 74% of the ball possession. And made 19 shots in total. Even then, Manchester City could not return to the truck in the match.   Jeremy Doku scored a goal for Manchester City in the 87th minute.

Manchester United played a completely defensive strategy after scoring two goals.   In the second half I did not see any strong attack from Manchester United players.   Their main task was to repel city attacks. Ten Hag's match strategy helped defeat City in this match.

I definitely agree! Diallo and Garnacho are both quite capable players. While the former is 21 years old, the latter is only 19. Both are young players and the future of this team.

Rashford's being horribly inconsistent deserves to be punished. He doesn't deserve to be a starter anymore until starting to play seriously. Or maybe PSG might make an offer for him this summer and he might leave...

The man has a point there honestly. This is his 2nd trophy in his 2nd year with Manchester United. The first one was the English League Cup trophy and now he has achieved the FA Cup one against the toughest team in England. Isn't this a success you think? I think it's a quite decent success considering how inadequate squad this team has.

No matter who they bring to his position, I don't expect much change unless they make the right transfers this summer.

You could see his composure and confidence stating facts about how the club has been before he came in and how it's been now that he's coach, he is not denying the fact that they that a crappy season but these issues within this season didn't come as a result of his decisions majorly but injuries affected them and slapped em hard.

Yes Man City and Pep spoilt this game because they felt they need to keep high line defense because of Man United offensive attack amd counter and I think that costed them. They couldn’t have played that with Ortega whom they know haven’t built much confidence like Ederson, as you can see how shaky he was each time a counter is placed. ⁠You can see the lack of communication between Gvardiol and Ortega which led to Man United first goal and how the defense was open because it was a 3-man back line.

 Man United were able to quickly capitalize on this and got 2 goals and I think that was just enough to get them the victory they needed to win the trophy. ⁠This win by United has ripple effects on other clubs like Chelsea and more especially Newcastle who will not be playing any European competition next season. This could make the board of the club be willing to let thr coach go and get a better coach who could take charge of the club next season.

 ⁠Man United had everything to fight for and I think they fought just write and got the victory which takes them to the Europa League, leaving Chelsea to the Conference League. Now Man City will have to learn from this and know better when taking on a game like this to avoid these tactical errors.

Manchester City were able to dominate the match, but both teams had chances and shots on target that were quite balanced in the match, but today I quite salute the defense built by Manchester United which I think was quite successful in overcoming the pressure from Manchester City attackers throughout the game, I think their defense was quite solid if we compare it to their previous matches,   Manchester United today managed to win the FA trophy and regardless of whether or not Ten Hag was sacked this season but what is certain is that Manchester United will play in the Europa League next season through the FA champion path.

Manchester Blue, who have been dominating the city of Manchester, is certainly the favorite to win the final match, but that is the football that is indeed very difficult for us to guess so far, what you said I completely agree, Manchester Red did have an unpredictable and strange performance this season, when they were easily defeated by Crystal Palace in the league but instead they were surprisingly able to destroy Manchester Blue ambitions to add trophy After winning the Premier League, Manchester Red seems to have a performance that is devoted to big matches while others match are of course not too difficult to say they will lose, the up and down performance possessed by Manchester Red this season is certainly a big question for us about Ten Hag works so far.

In the last two seasons Manchester Red has spent a lot of money to buy quality players, but they only get two trophies that can be said to be less prestigious than the Premier League trophy, so in my opinion Manchester Red should start evaluating their squad this season because it seems that bringing in a lot of good players is not enough for them to qualify for the Europa League (apart from the automatic ticket obtained through the FA champions) through the ranking in the Premier League table, I think with a squad that is actually quite capable that Manchester Red has this season, of course ending the position in the Champions League zone should not be a difficult thing for them.

I'm more bored seeing Man City always winning titles than Arsenal. I hope they can break Man City's dominance in winning titles so that the EPL will always be a competitive league, Arsenal can't do it because of Man City's good performance in the EPL. I also hope for differences in the league so that the league It's still going well and not boring, Man City seems to want to dominate the EPL by continuing to win consecutive titles and in the last few seasons Man City has won 6 EPL titles.

We don't know yet what will happen to Chelsea and Liverpool next season because they are both starting the season with new coaches, hopefully they get a really suitable coach so they can compete in the EPL title race. They are top clubs that always compete in the 4 top but unfortunately Chelsea are more concerned because they change coaches too often so their performance is erratic.

Liverpool's losses started from that FA cup quarter loss to Man Utd and a subsequent 2-2 draw in the EPL. We also have Chelsea that drew City on both occasions this season in the PL but lost unfortunately to City in the FA cup semi finals. My point? Don't write off teams like Utd or Chelsea especially when they're up against teams were once their class.

Chelsea struggled against small teams but whenever they faced big teams in the league, they end up winning or getting a draw in the games. In the 2023/24 English Premier League, Chelsea never lost a league game against the big clubs except their reverse fixture game at Arsenal. Manchester United also had a good season as well because they didn't lose so much against the supposed big teams.
Against Manchester City in the English FA Cup final, many people had written off the Old Trafford club because of their opponent's superior performance this season but Erik ten Hag's men went on to surprise their doubters by beating Manchester City and lifting the FA Cup trophy

Luck and opportunity always happens in a game of football, a team that is able to capitalize them deserve their good fate of the game. Manchester City have themself to blame for the loss. It may be a surprise, but they got punished by their own mistakes. Their tactics to have possession at the back will always have a risk, but it's how they build their attacks to create chances. Nothing much to say, Erik Ten Hag will wait for the evaluation of his job within the last two seasons and not the Fa Cup Competition Finals and I'm convinced he will still be retained as the manager of the club Manchester United.
It has nothing to do with form, it's all about the depth and quality of the squad he currently has which is not enough for this long-term plans and job.
Also he has seen injuries which has affected all his plans for the club. I know fans lacks patience and wants quick success but they have to consider all off these options before they talk about him being sacked.

Despite the fact that United only finished in eighth place in the final standings of the English Premier League, and were eliminated early in the English League Cup and Champions League, Eric Ten Hag successfully colored his two seasons at Old Trafford with trophies each year after bringing the Red Devils to victory. English Premier League champions Manchester City 2-1 in the 2023/24 FA Cup final. After his debut season closed with the League Cup title, in his second season ten Hag won the FA Cup title. Apart from that, during his two years, Ten Hag never let the Red Devils lose their place in Europe. Last season they ended the Premier League as third place to appear in the Champions League.

 Even though this is the worst season in Manchester United's history, finishing in eighth place, the Dutch coach can still deliver trophies, something that England's second best team at the moment, Arsenal, cannot. The question is whether these achievements will guarantee that Ten Hag's position as Manchester United coach is safe?

One of the teams who never didn't do well this in English domestic games this season but still did very well against big teams in England was Chelsea. Chelsea struggled against small teams but whenever they faced big teams in the league, they end up winning or getting a draw in the games. In the 2023/24 English Premier League, Chelsea never lost a league game against the big clubs except their reverse fixture game at Arsenal. Manchester United also had a good season as well because they didn't lose so much against the supposed big teams.
Against Manchester City in the English FA Cup final, many people had written off the Old Trafford club because of their opponent's superior performance this season but Erik ten Hag's men went on to surprise their doubters by beating Manchester City and lifting the FA Cup trophy

They had a great second half of the Premier League Competition, they should be thankful they had a player like Cole Palmer who carried the club on his shoulders game after game.
Most importantly they had a good game against Manchester City on both fixtures played and should have won but they lacked precision and togetherness finally to hold down what they had.

During the first half of the Premier League Competition, they lost two goals to nil against Manchester United at Old Trafford, how come you let that escape your mind? Lol.
Arsenal dealt with them and showed how superior they was.

Manchester United didn't have a good season, you don't need to sugar coat it. They lost games they should have won due to Erik Ten Hag's selection and decisions which was as a result of limitations resulting from the squad depth.

They lost to Manchester City and Arsenal on both meetings, maybe you're in a rush to make your post? Lol Lost to Chelsea as well during the reverse fixture.

I was expecting the win from a long time ago and it happened. We'll see what they have to do about the coach staying of leaving. ( Wacked Management who wants profits ) they should have just sold the club to them Saudi's completely.

The season ended not nice for Arsenal and Mikel Arteta, but coaches like Unai Emery and Sean Dyche made me proud. One taking his side to the Champions League after a very long time away, while the later did by avoiding being relegated despite the shambles and points deductions severally.

That was boring? Jesus Christ!
They was compact in the first few minutes of the game as well as the entire game even as they scored those two goals. This is what happens whenever Erik Ten Hag plays with his best defenders. Too many criticisms which are no just correct and not fair.

I don't mean Manchester United here actually. Because they played exactly how they must have. There is no way they were going to win against Manchester City otherwise.    Erik ten Hag had to play cautious and look for opportunities arising. I meant Manchester City for the boring part. They couldn't do anything for the most part of the game you know which surprised me. Manchester United were great at defending.

That wasn't Andrea Onana's fault, you should be faulting Garnacho for not marking that ball very well. Do you what it means for that ball to go through that defense and he still made attempt to get the ball?

Of course, it isn't 100% Onana's fault. The defense shouldn't have let the ball go through. But Onana is also sharing the fault as it was a shot that he could have saved. Anyways, I was already contented with his general performance.

I checked it out. I agree, luck wasn't the thing that brought the win to the Red Devils here. They deserved it by playing smart.
