The Premier League always has an interesting story to unfold at the end of every season, last two seasons it was Manchester City we saw overtake Arsenal towards the end of the season when Arsenal slipped up. This season it is Arsenal and Liverpool who are favorites for the title, Liverpool  currently lead with eight points whilst Arsenal follow. Will Liverpool slip up and let history repeat with Arsenal this time?

The current situation says the opposite, and it may even happen. Because Arsenal has played one less match and the current point gap with Liverpool is only 8 or we can also call it a 5 point gap. Because Arsenal's next match is against West Ham, which is a relatively weaker team than Arsenal. If Liverpool continues to lose points like this for a few more days, then maybe we will see a repeat of the past. But I see the possibility of such an event as small. The top two teams have been in good positions and are in good form recently. While Arsenal's form can be called the best form, it may be wrong to call Liverpool's form the best. Because they have lost a total of 4 points in the last 5 matches. 2 draws in the last 5 matches are starting to reduce their dominance of the points table.

In this season Arsenal is looking impressive with their consistency and their defense is also doing great job for them even their attack and injuries issue giving them serious problem, but things are going well under control which can give them another second spot but as Liverpool have lost of 4 points in last 3 games it's going to be very interesting.

Manchester City vs Liverpool is one of the biggest games in European soccer, so this result is also going to be big impact on league table while Citizens are looking for rebuild themselves and have good end of their season while Liverpool is looking for keep things at the top and not allowed opponents to have anything positive. But in case of having anything problematic for Liverpool this could be huge below for them because now after having impressive run of performance and consistency losing at this point could be big below.

Sincerely I most commend Arsenal for their consistency despite the injuries they've encountered and other challenges, the point difference between them and Liverpool is 8 points which I feel Arsenal would have done better to close that gap because they had all the trappings to do so, however the window is still a bit open, we are hoping if the unthinkable will happen.


Citizens are dampened right now after their lost against Real Madrid during their champions League encounter, I don't really see them doing much against Liverpool tomorrow, Liverpool on their own are very formidable at the moment. Ordinarily it will be a tough game with lots of speculations, citizens would want to prove a point too, since it's the Etihad, but then I will be giving it to Liverpool.

This week Everton are playing host to Manchester United at Goodison Park, and I won't be in shock if Manchester United get to lose in this game to Everton. This is a side that held Liverpool down in a 2:2 draw despite the good form Liverpool are in this season.

Ruben Amorim would have to face more criticism should his side fail to get 3 points from this match. Presently in the 15th position on the league table, losing this game would take Manchester United closer to the red zone and I see it happening because this team doesn't have the motivation yet to win Everton judging by both team's recent performance.

First I want to point out a spelling mistake which you made you where suppose to write city or Manchester city but you wrote citizens which I know very well is a mistake.
Now for arsenal I think there problem is not because of there players who are on injury there problem is lack of consistency they have a very good coach and player but they are never consistent even if all there players comes back from injury it won't change anything, last two seasons they had the opportunity to lift the premier league trophy but because of inconsistency they couldn't, this 8 point Liverpool is topping arsenal with is a big gap and I don't see arsenal getting to that point, arsenal needs a good striker who will give them a lot of goals and I pray victor osime will accept coming to arsenal he will perform very well there.

West Ham find it difficult to face Arsenal, in the last two matches they have conceded a lot from Arsenal, only 11 goals in two matches. I think that today they will be able to repeat something similar. For Manchester United it is good because they will not be able to go lower if West Ham loses, but on the other hand Manchester United will have a difficult away match with Everton, and it seems to me that in the best case it will be a draw, but they will not be able to beat Everton.

Arsenal will get a win today, but in the match of Everton against Manchester United, I think United might bounce back, after all they are just inconsistent but although lack quality players but their current quality is still much better than that of Everton, a good defending from the defense and good saves from Onana will more likey get them a win or draw, that is if the attack can utilize their chances well.

I have no belief left for Manchester United and with very low position now but safe enough against relegation zone, perhaps most of their players are thinking of summer holidays especially in the next summer, there will be no World Cup or Euro tournament.

Manchester United have nothing better than Everton, with 4 points less, same total goals (28) but more conceded goals (36 compares to 31), and I see it's unfair and not neutral to say Manchester United are stronger than Everton and can win against Everton today. After the first 25 minutes, Everton is leading 1-0 at home against Man United. Onited haven't yet made a single shot on goal, but it's still early on and there's plenty of time left. If Everton carry on that result till the end, they will temporarily be at 12th place in the table, not bad for a team that was close to the relegation zone not that long ago.
I wonder what are expectations of Man United's owners for Amorim for this season (if any). He doesn't seem to bring much improvement to the team, but those things can take time.
Anyhow, in terms of the Premier League, United don't have much left to play for this season other than making sure they do good enough to not end up in the bottom 3.

Liverpool failed to win against Aston Villa in their last match. I don't think Liverpool players will repeat the same mistake. Liverpool are in better form than Manchester City. So I can't consider Manchester city as favourites in the match against Liverpool. My guess is Liverpool will win the match.

Liverpool benefited in this match, because the condition of the Manchester City players was not good, they might not play optimally in this match, their elimination from the Champion League made the players mentally destroyed, this was a hard blow for them after all the hard work they did, however, it was not enough to keep them in the Champion League.

But however Liverpool still have to be careful, if we look back Manchester City often make unexpected surprises, it could be that the disappointment they are experiencing is used as fuel to win this match.

I consider this season as a rebuild for City. We should not expect big things from them coz they really need a full rebuild on their squad. Their main weakness are always be the same, which is at their midfield and defence, They have to improve it to the next level.

It may take a few years to be done, but Pep may able to cut it like less than two season. The good things is that the new guys are starting to adapt. They are all already scored, which are good.

They have problem in injuries, age, mentality. That's why they need a fresh squad. Pep also needs some holiday to rest his mind.

Due to the worst ever performance in middle of season now it's easily predictable Manchester City is having no chance of going into top two spots but mostly peoples those love to enjoy Premier League for long time well understand here things can take changes without any prior notice which is trademark of this league.

Talking about Arsenal i think they are doing pretty well this season despite been unlucky to win the tittle last season I think Arsenal is fighting very hard to win it this season, 8 point gap is not a big deal if Arsenal can be consistent in winning games, they currently have one game outstanding if the win their outstanding game the point gap will be 5 points if Liverpool also lost to Manchester City tomorrow and Arsenal eventually wins their own game the point gap will just reduce to 2 points so there is hope for Arsenal to win the tittle this season infact the English premier league tittle is now between Liverpool and Arsenal so let's not right off Arsenal this season as anything can happen.

This week Everton are playing host to Manchester United at Goodison Park, and I won't be in shock if Manchester United get to lose in this game to Everton. This is a side that held Liverpool down in a 2:2 draw despite the good form Liverpool are in this season.

Ruben Amorim would have to face more criticism should his side fail to get 3 points from this match. Presently in the 15th position on the league table, losing this game would take Manchester United closer to the red zone and I see it happening because this team doesn't have the motivation yet to win Everton judging by both team's recent performance.

Man United has had a very inconsistent run of form and I think they could be heading for the relegation zone if they don't improve, and that's clearly not a good thing for Amorim because he is expected to be the solution to Man United's problems, but unfortunately, he actually made Man United look worse. It wasn't entirely his fault because the big boss seemed to be trapping him. Yes, he was expected to make Man United better, but they didn't leave him enough funds.

This will be a tough fight as they are not in good shape (so does their mentality) but they have to be able to rise because if they are late they will really be kicked out of the Premier League.

Amorim doesn't seem to know what to do right now, I think the coach is being overwhelmed by the huge responsibility he met in the club. This problem however isn't a fault of Ruben Amorim but due to a long time mismanagement of the club since Ferguson retired.


It's first half played already and so far it was another miserable 45 minutes for Manchester United who had no shots on goal all through the first half meanwhile Everton had 4 shots on goal  and are currently leading 2:0 as I had earlier anticipated about them winning this game due to the poor performance of Manchester United which has really dragged them down the table. I expect to see more goals in the second half for Everton.

Manchester United is still pretty much on a ground to equality but only if they can do much better and make good attempts on the opponents. I'm always on the edge of Manchester United even though they already lost in the first half but things can still change.

Man U is already getting a free kick so I see them coming back in the ending of the game.
