Liverpool has done the right thing by sacking Arne Slot but the problem is that the decision was too late!

I agree with you. It was a good decision.Arne Slot won the EPL two seasons ago I know. But coming into last season, he tried to change the strategy and playstyle Jürgen Klopp planted for years, and it failed him.

Xabi Alonso would have also been a good option for Liverpool, but I think they preferred a manager who has experienced premier league football. I am not saying he will not adapt to the premier league, but Liverpool don't want to take another risk again for next season.

But personally, I feel Xavi Alonso was the best option for Liverpool but they missed it.

They are late to sign Xabi Alona because they need an Experience manger and Andoni Iraola have premier league as well as Xabi Alonso don't have premier league experience.  Hope So Xabi Alonso adapt Premier League at Chelsea and give them a good battle next season to the top team . Senesi to join Tottenham! That’s a transfer I’m not really excited about, not for Tottenham’s sake but for the players sake. Tottenham is a big club, and Senesi is worth playing there.  Tottenham now has 3 world class CB, they now have to focus on signing attackers. You stated that Bournemouth is a much better team than Tottenham, but that was last season, anything can happen next season. I am certain that Tottenham will play better next season compared to last season breakdown.

It is better that Liverpool have taken the right decision now. If not, if is this Slot that will still coaching Liverpool next season, it is very possible that he may still have a bad season again next year.I don't think he has any excuse to give for making Liverpool drop to this level of form, struggling even to qualify for the Champions League. Liverpool gave Slot a very big opportunity to win trophies again this season, but he totally messed up the opportunity. Slot signed the players he wished to sign and ended up finishing in fifth position in the Premier League. Even in the Champions League, he did not perform as many people expected.

The fact is that I don't even know what Slot's problem was that made him finish in fifth position this season. Last season, despite making many signings to strengthen the team, he still went ahead and won the Premier League title. I'm not surprise for Liverpool board sacking Arne Slot because his time was long due already at Anfield. He wasn't able to contain the pressure when it comes and watching how Liverpool fall from the top is humiliating. Liverpool have not been able to compete to their full potential and couldn't even match head to head with their rivalry in both the English premier League and also the UEFEA Champions League where they got humiliated by Paris Saint Germain.

The board was patient enough to hold Arne Slot till this time because they expected Liverpool to qualify for the UEFEA Champions League next season and sacking him would definitely ruined things for the club because any body they bring in wouldn't be handling the club properly because they will need more time to make things work at Anfield.

I was so surprised when I first saw the news. Liverpool management has been so positive about keeping Slot and I was surprised about this 11th hour U turn.
This got me thinking that the reason for Slot's dismissal is more related to politics of the club rather than competence. Assuming it was competence, he would have been sacked mid last season.

I am yet to see an official press release of Slot, if I see it, it will give me a clue of what actually transpired. Speaking about Slot's replacement, I still believed that Liverpool missed their chances of Alonso, because we actually do not have better options available. There is scarcity of good and experienced coaches.

Every Liverpool fans was happy to hear about his departure from the club. Arne Slot has caused them a lot all through the season. The Liverpool we use to know is no longer the Liverpool. We saw a Liverpool side who lost 7 games in a row which the last time it happened was almost 50 years ago. A Liverpool side that could have missed out of Champions League football if not Arsenal that save them by qualifying for the finals in the previous Champions League.

We saw a combination of good andbad performance within the two seasons he was there. Now that he has been sacked, am pretty concerned about who replaces him. Liverpool paid the price for the end of the Jürgen Klopp era, and the squad really needed a more significant overhaul before bringing in a manager like Arne Slot. In my view, Slot remains a great manager with excellent tactical and managerial skills, but the team fell apart in the second half of the season, a sign that motivation was lacking, and Salah was by then a pale shadow of the great champion we have always admired.

Sacking Arne Slot is the best option for Liverpool and i like as the management allow him to finish the season and sacked him because if they sacked him when the season is about to end it can affect the team and they might not qualify for Champions League next season, Arne Slot should have been sacked long ago because he has caused the team a lot of problems and makes the team looks like a club that did not have a good players despite spending more than 300 million before the season start.

Honestly no one actually expected Liverpool to decline in performance in just a space of a year, they were very dominant in slot first year and after spending almost 500M a lot of people were saying they will be going for the champions league the following season but then all of a sudden we started seeing awful football. It a good thing that he has been sacked and the club can have a fresh start next season.

Now for his replacement I think it going to be Bournemouth former coach Iraola, the deal is almost done and they are on the final stages of the deal. We are both having the same sentiment bro, when I saw that Liverpool fans were celebrating the sacking of arne slot, what's comes to my mind was that they should not be doing that because they don't know who is going to replace him, if they are going to move from frying pan 🍳 to fire, just like Chelsea move from Enzo maresca to Liam Rosenior, so they should not celebrate his sacking.

Liverpool did the right thing to sack Arne Slot because he might perform worse next season and they don't want that because they have spent a lot of money signing quality and expensive players from different leagues. He couldn't finish on top three. A good coach with the quality of players in Liverpool should win the trophy but they struggle to secure a spot in UCL.

The new coach will do better because he has shown he can transform weak teams into a strong one. He did that in Bournemouth. Therefore, managing these quality players wouldn't be a problem for him because he will be able to improve their performance to perfection.
