That's not true, one thing you should know is that Micheal carrick was not given the opportunity to coach for one complete season. He only work as acting manager/ caretaker whenever a coach is been sacked, but due to how he performed last season made manchester united to retain him as the head coach. I believe if he coached for like 2-3 seasons he's likely to win a trophy for manchester united. Imagine someone that has not gained enough experience in coaching that you're compering with Arteta who have coached different teams and he has gained enough experience in this coaching work, Micheal carricks is a Coach that is still coming up but with his performance so far I'm sure that someday he will stand up as on of the best coach in premier league that's if he can maintain this performance.

We have seen a lot of defending champions that couldn't defend the title the second time. Carrick really turned the tide around for Manchester United, at first I thought it was the new manager bounce but clearly the team has improved massively from Amorim’s regime. He is the reason why Manchester United can compete for the premier league title this season. I would even go as far as to say that they are the only team who can contend with Arsenal for the title, as the other top teams are in their worst form ever. I’m afraid if Arsenal does not sign a striker before the transfer window closes, they will be giving room for Manchester United to take the title.

Remember they finished third place, they had Manchester City with 7 points difference ahead of them and Arsenal with like 14 point diff. ahead of them...To be honest my hand are crossed because I can't really be certain on who will eventually be the champions of the league.. It's a matter of whether or not they can stay consistent, for a few seasons past Arsenal has been able to start the league well enough and even maintain top position for a good length of time only for them to start gradually falling from the top towards the end of the season, they won the last season because they remained consistent and at the top so if they can only maintain it this season then it's not completely out of place for them to win the league again, they are afterall one of the most likely teams to win.

I would say the match between Malaga and Fulham was the most unusual friendly of the year.
The match ended 2–2 in regulation time. While Malaga was preparing for a penalty shootout, the Fulham players headed for the dressing room, arguing that there was no provision for such a thing in the friendly match agreement.
A Malaga player then stepped up, took a penalty kick into the empty net, and celebrated.
I have never seen anything like this before.

It is Early to assume that Manchester United will win the title but it is not far too early, the season will start in a few days and speculation about the possible contenders is somewhat necessary and Carrick have place Manchester United in the list of potential contenders for the title after his performance last season as the interim coach and also his preseason performances.

I believe it is too early to begin to ascertain such level of credibility to Manchester United, this is a team that ended on the third position in the just concluded premier League season, they are still improving, Manchester United is still in their building stages, they are not on the same level as Arsenal and Manchester City or even Liverpool yet. Winning the premier League is not something you do in a single match it takes a lot of struggle and consistency for you to do that and as a matter of fact football has taught me that sometimes even the clubs we put as prospect to win a certain title, don't come out as we predicted. Judging from everything right now, the odds still favors Arsenal to win the premier league against the other top premier league clubs not really because they’re the defending champions but because of their recent performances and how they’ve been able to maintain their form and position at the top for over 3-4 seasons now. Arsenal has been in top form for over four seasons now, and if not for A club like Manchester city Arsenal would’ve won the league title back to back in previous 2-3 seasons, now Pep Guardiola has left man city, Liverpool have a new coach, Chelsea and man united are still struggling to hold their way up back. Arteta currently stand as the most experienced coach right now in the premier league among the others which gives him an edge to retain the title again this season.

The season is only a few days away, so we can't say right now which team will win the title. Especially we can never predict the future by looking at the past results. If we look at La Liga and if we look at Real Madrid, we can see that anything can happen at any time in the game. Real Madrid is a very strong team and they had a very strong team last season but their position was still very bad. Although Arsenal have a lot of good players and they have improved their midfield a lot, there is still no certainty. But hopefully something good will happen and we will see something good from Arsenal.

Arsenal is still my favourite for this season’s premier league competition. They did well last season and I do not see them performing less this season. The way they climb to the top level of the table was not surprising, it was a movement which was planned to the point of victory. Although they did not perform exceptionally if you want to mention, but I believe they will put more pressure this season because as the defending champions, I believe they are more confident than they were last season. Arsenal is also currently working on closing deals with Liverpool to sign Vincent Joseph and I think it makes sense to me because Vincent is a very young talented player but have taken big moves at the moment with his performances.

Arsenal has finished as runner up three times in row from 2023 to 2025 before finally winning a title in 2026 and giving their fans a relief. Mostly we see a new winner in every season because every time clubs come up with new strategy and passion. Arsenal will win next season or not, we can get idea about that after seeing Arsenal in action. Man City is another team that is either winning or finishing among top 3 for past few seasons and we also can't rule them out from title contest.
