I think the Manchester united and Aston villa match is the most anticipated match in the English premier league this week, based on their recent performance against AS Roma, many football fans can't wait to see how they will perform against an English premier league team, if they will gain confidence from that unbelievable come back they made against AS Roma or they are going back to auto reset, but I really pray they put up a nice performance against Aston villa because if they fail to do so, they might end up in the relegation zone before the international break.

Aside their comeback win against As Roma, the team can still win against Aston Villa. In fact, if they had lost against Roma I still won't consider them losing to Aston Villa as my final verdict.

Manchester United lacks the quality but aside that they are really inconsistent and this is the main issue. It's not like Villa themselves have been pretty exceptional also.

The first kickoff of the week10 match has really shocked me with four goals scored from second half of the game and none was scored in the first half. When I watch the first half, I had thought there would be no any goal from the game looking at how had it was for both team to get even one goal. I  was already getting annoyed because I had some players on my FPL playing In one of the team. Obviously I didn’t want the game to end in a goalless draw.

I must say I was surprised with how the game ended in  3-1 victory to Everton. It’s was a balance game but I think Everton were more clinical in the second half of the game than Coventry. Sometimes we get worried to much about goals and second half comes with goals you never expected in the game that exactly how this game played.

I am happy Everton got the win actually, I had two players from the team on my FPL and one even got a goal to get me good point.

Man City have a tougher game than Arsenal tomorrow. City are away at Nottingham Forest and Arsenal play at home against Hull. It’s looking like it will be a 2 horse race, I do not think Brighton will stay where they are.

Liverpool travel to Crystal Palace, we have to win after consecutive defeats, it has not been good enough recently.

Might be one of those games that leaves everyone disappointed ahead of the international break.

Nottingham Forest yet to win a game at home should be ready enough, they are either ready to see Manchester City frustrated or be ready to take as much as 4 to 5 goals. Hull City are only dangerous when they play at home. This game, Arsenal should be hosting them at home so it should be easy for them to emerge winners.

Back to back losses from the Premier League Competition to the Champions League competition. Since they're on the road, a point should be fair.

Even though Manchester United turned things around against Roma, I don't think they will be able to win against Aston Villa easily. Because if we compare Aston Villa with Roma here, then I definitely think Aston Villa is stronger than Roma, and so naturally even if Manchester United can turn around against Roma in any way, they will not be able to turn around against Aston Villa as easily as they did in the previous match if they concede a goal and fall behind. Although the match is at Manchester United's home ground, they cannot win with the home ground advantage, because if we look at the previous matches, excluding the match against Roma, then we can see very clearly that they could not produce any good results. I am very worried about this match, I am not expecting anything from Manchester United yet.

We are on the same page here. That all-of-a-sudden equalizer and late winner is no match for what Manchester United will face in the Premier League. If it were in the Premier League, Manchester United are down by 2 goals it would be almost impossible for them to get back. The best that could happen is a draw if it was in the Premier League.

I'm not convinced Manchester United will beat Aston Villa. Aston Villa is one of the best team in the Premier League this season, Manchester United are argualbly the worst team.

With how the match ended goalless draw in the first half nobody will believe that the match will later produce over 2.5 goals and even over 3.5 goals so it shows there were making scoring opportunities and Everton utilised it better than Coventry. It seems whenever Coventry match is scheduled alone, they end up conceding 3 goals because I still remember their first match against Arsenal, it was a Friday match and they conceded 3:0. Against Tottenham though it was on a Monday but they conceded 3:1 and today which is also Friday they concede 3:1. At this point all the promoted teams are not performing well and I think that at least one of them might end up getting relegated.

A better second half from Everton, they were really poor in that first half, far from the team we watched at St. James park. They really did well in the second half, even that Barry second goal was a handball. Everton is really a tough team to play now, they are very disciplined. Coventry really had good chances, they should have scored more, they really need to be mor clinical in that final third if they want to in the premier league next season.

Finally, Coventry goal keeper Rushworth needs to start doing better, 2 goals he could have easily saved today and his team could have stand a chance to get a at least away from home today. If lampard can fix these little things, then they will cause problems in the league.

I am confident that Manchester United victory and come back during the midweek champions League will give them they needed excitement to unleash an astonishing performance against Aston Villa.
However, my confidence in Manchester United is not only due to their spectacular comeback against Roma, but they also played a very good football in the second half of that match. I wanted to praise Maino and Baleba combination, but on a second thought I understood that it was the teenager who entered in the second half that actually changed the game.

Hopefully, Cunha morale will still be high to face the weekend challenge. I really don't want Carrick to go, I love him as a gentleman he is.

Well you can’t be too dismissive of them, regardless of their previous form, sometimes all it takes is one good game to kick start everything and get things back to how they were but we have to be realistic right? I’m not sure Manchester United is ready for that stage yet, the team is still in disarray imo, their last win was more of cunha pushing for it than the team as a whole come together and deciding to play proper football and unless the team is ready to take that crucial step, I won’t rate them better than any team in league currently.

Here in the Premier League, you can't afford to have a weak team, and any team with more than four consecutive losses is hardly taken into consideration anymore. So the focus is on the race for first place: Arsenal, City, and Liverpool's surprising Champions League defeat. All of this leads to some important teams being overlooked.

Every football fan knows that all is not well with Man U this season so for you to be so confident in them winning Aston Villa is laughable, if you even check the odd that sport books gave them against Aston Villa you will know that the match is not a sure win for Man U, struggling to come back against Roma to win 3:2 is not a guarantee that the Man U team is fully back, let them play Aston Villa first and let’s observe their performance before jumping into any hasty conclusions of wether they are back or not, is it not the same Man U that i know that have been so inconsistent.

His claim has nothing to do with being a Man U fan because I think he is the only that knows what gave him such confidence just because of a single win against Roma. The win could act as a boost to their morale but it still doesn't stop the fact that Aston villa will be another hard nut to crack for them. Manchester United is in a very poor form this period and I don't think that they're changing that anytime soon. True Man U fans won't be this confident because fans are already tired of the losses.

This game will be played at Old Trafford but I can tell you that Michael Carrick and his boys no longer take home games as special and will still loose either home or away. As a Man U fan, I wish that Manchester United could win this game but I can not be this confident to put my funds on them, not against Aston villa this time.

The Coventry City would have won that match but they lack controls over thier games patterns and strategy, although I usually said that any teams that's just a little bit far away from relegation or even in the relegation standings are very dangerous, Coventry City started this match as expected but,  Everton is not a weaker team to be looking down on, and thier energy and capacities weren't the same. So the victory was well deserved and that has actually boost thier standings in the premier league table. Well done played to Everton on this great achievement over Coventry City. 3-1.

The players don't usually play to expectation in most of their match and when they lose, people switch the blame to coach. I'm not saying the coach is fault free, he has his own flaws too but most defeat is as a result of the players failing to live up to expectation.

I clearly said that I'm not saying the coach is free from blame, he has his own flaws too. So how can you say I'm pretending like I didn't see that? I'm not supporting the coach or praising him, all I'm saying is that it's unfair to keep putting all the blames on coach and the tactics when we all know that players also have a role to play and make big difference too. If you watch some of this players playing, you'll wonder how they reach that stage with the level of unseriousness they're exhibiting.

Barry scored two goals, both of which were very dangerous and in an attacking moment, and Hall scored the third goal in the last minute. Everton scored the last minute goal very well and with great speed he did it directly towards the goalpost and succeeded. However, recently Everton has been performing very aggressively and is approaching the top of the points table. However, if they can perform well in a few more matches like this,
they will be able to play an attacking role towards the end of this season. Their performance is very good at the moment, maintaining this performance is the most important thing for Everton.
