PS: This is not about the money; I couldn't care less about 0.5€ or even 18€; but having a "serious" casino miss almost 10% user funds twice is something to keep bear in mind. Apart from that, the withdrawal delays during bull runs are another interesting thing to have in mind

I think this message actually sums it up pretty well. As a side note, yes I was later on paid the missing money from the withdrawal, but the free bet (i think it was that) never made its way anywhere. I can sort of see why a type 3 flag could be opposed in this case, but it would have definately been grounds for a type 1. Although as I already mentioned somewhere, hidhsight is a bitch.

It's not really tasteful on their side not to put up a sign saying "this casino has exit scammed"; but I guess that if after more than a month offline and radio silent they come back and act as if nothing had happened, then there is some really big problem around here

Hahahaha! I have to agree here. I don't know what Betwrong was thinking, but I certainly don't believe that after all this time, they can simply come back with something like "Sorry guys, we were on vacation!" and resume their operations. Trust is of utmost importance in the gambling business, and once you lose it, you can hardly get it back.

I agree with your statement- trust is what builds the reputation of a gambling website.

It takes years of trust and effort by the gambling company in order to build its reputation on the market. With all those efforts, it only takes 2-3 mistakes on their part (even one depending on the gravity of mistake) to destroy their hard-earned reputation as they will quickly lose their loyal player base in a matter of days. Unfortunately, there are dozens of gambling websites that take part in exit scams (Betnomi).

Though this may be the case, there are still lots of genuine gambling websites available in the market. While there may be better offers of bonuses/rewards from new casinos, it is still relatively safe and secure if you bet on a gambling casino which has been consistent with their service for years.

I personally find endearing this action, seeking to give something to those who lost money to scammers, but perhaps this could be seen as an attempt to monetize from the disgrace of a community, keeping in mind what is going on. Just my opinion, of course, I am sure many of the victims will appreciate such "relief".

Yeah I saw that thread and I am dual on what to think about it.First of all Betnomi set a real bad bad precedent for any new coming casino wanting to open business here,they even sponsored the Champions League pool last year and I thought they are doing very well and have money to spare.I think the owners of Betnomi were plain stupid if they shut down business and are happy with what amount they scammed from the users,if they continue business as usual they would be making a lot more profit like any other casino in the long run,what a bunch of idiots.

I have not yet read the full context behind all this situation, though.
What they have done is stupid, obviously, because even if they closed the casino in a proper way and allowed people to withdraw, they could have kept their reputation and use it in the future to try again. But for some strange reasons they decided to sell their reputation for whatever money people had deposited on their platform.

If they were profitable there was not reason to do this. Obviously.

I know why you are saying this. You (all of us) have experienced a pretty similar situation of Betnomi in 2021. They had appeared with an update after a few months of silence on the forum. But the website was up and they were giving updates on their telegram group during then. Where the situation is completely different now. They have taken down the website, not replying to anyone on telegram, there is no update at any platform. BTW, don't forget to check the skills of Betnomi admin. Sorsis has mentioned about his hacking skill on his LinkedIn profile too.

But the owners of those platforms did the right thing, announcing the closure in advance, giving users time to withdraw their funds, and then closing down. Betnomi's owner, on the other hand, just disappeared without a word. Looks more like an exit scam to me rather than simply going bankrupt. But that's just my opinion.

Trustdice bonus for Betnomi victim is pretty fair because they offer a bonus that was supposed to be given for a high tier VIP. You can’t get this kind of benefits without wagering huge amount of money and lossing big time in the process. Trustdice is a business, Obviously their action will surely have benefits to them but at least they reach out to the victims by offering their exclusive bonus to the newly sign up.

I have balance too on Betnomi but thanks G it’s only small compared to other victim. I will be happy to claim Trustdice bonus if ever I will be lucky to find proof on my email that is now full of junk ads email.

I don't think that because someone listed hacking as a skill that that means they are a bad person or anything. Lot's on here may like to dabble in that area. There are good and bad hackers, and he doesn't exactly say he will rob your wallet if he can.

Just pointing that out as I don't think all hackers deserve to be looked at in a negative light.

I know that there are 3 types of hacker in general. But based on the leaked conversations, Sorsis (Betnomi admin) wasn't a good one.

One of the employees of Betnomi had posted some screenshot of the conversation with Sorsis in 2020. Where Sorsis said that he "was carding over 18k USD worth of items weekly". Sorsis also claimed that he had compromised 28k computers by creating a rat (remote access trojan).

For authorities to get involved, someone has to press charges. So far I have only seen 1 scam accusation pop up and not sure if that user has considered the police route. I'm sure some personal information could be found if companies were served warrants for personal information. Credit card companies or whomever sold the domain for example.

For authorities to get involved, someone has to press charges. So far I have only seen 1 scam accusation pop up and not sure if that user has considered the police route. I'm sure some personal information could be found if companies were served warrants for personal information. Credit card companies or whomever sold the domain for example.

That is what I mean, we are talking about a casino, there must be enough information out there and digital footprint for anyone to track the people behind this service and exit scam.

Even if there was not in the top of the biggest casinos by volume of number of users, there must be thousands or even hundred of thousands of dollars in damages caused by this exit scam. Individually it may not the worth it to pursue them, but the solution is not to let scammers to away with this kind of disgusting behavior so easily, specially when they are not anonymous.

Being devil's advocate here, but hacking doesn't mean what people think it means. Hacking is not a criminal activity and whole terms comes from people who were tweaking with miniature train sets. After that it was used by people who were tech enthusiasts. People who were making machines and softwares do what they weren't supposed to do.

Cracker or black hat is a correct term for someone that has malicious intentions and are hacking (cracking is the original term for it) for personal financial gain illegally.

I bet there are enough on-chain transaccions from and out Betnomi to link some wallets to exchange addresses and therefore, someone's identity. Even though I am in for privacy, I am not a supporter of taking other's money this way.

The identity and address of the sender of the prize might be use as a clue to find the real owner because surely that person is working for Betnomi and has an information that will lead to the owner identity.

I think maybe we are still waiting for some people to report the problem of their money being left on the betnomi site, at this time it hasn't been seen that many users have complained about their money in this forum, I also want to know more about how many victims from this forum community have money there who left behind, it seems it is necessary to start a topic in the investigative board to know about them.

As far as I can see there has been no development whatsoever from this site but there are still some people thinking they will come back maybe that's what has made some of the victims not yet appear in this public forum, while we see the site is completely inactive now, not even there at all the good intentions of their team to make any clarifications in this forum or telegram, I personally believe that they are really out of this business.
