I just read that Ngannou's fight purse against Tyson Fury is around $8 Million which is similar to what UFC offered him to defend his title against Jon Jones. Huge leap from his last fight which reported to be around $600K so kudos for a getting a great deal even after all the fallout.
Yes, facts! Nobody know what is the real reason behind why Francis Ngannou rejected an $8 Million offer from Dana White to defend his belt against Jon Jones because that could've been his biggest paycheck in his career if he chose to fight in UFC 285, what we know was that the negotiations failed because both camps did not agree on something and afterwards, Ngannou vacated his belt as he go to the free agency. But it looks like that he will still have that money now as he is scheduled to fight Tyson Fury.

The cowardly degenerate Fury quickly degraded to exhibition fights, lol. Everything is clear with him, but to whom this clowning might be interesting, I don’t understand? If the fight would be according to the rules of the MMA, then it might be interesting, but a fight by the rules of boxing with someone who has not had a single fight in boxing is of no interest. I’m even too lazy to look at bookmakers’ quotes, I’m sure that there will be something like 1.01 for Fury to win.

I read it will be a real fight, not an exhibition. They did not state how many rounds it is scheduled for. I don’t think it will go the full distance regardless if it's 6 or 8 or 10 rounds. Two big, powerful hitters, we could easily see a knockout.
Fury's WBC belt will not be on the line for the winner. This is definitely the right decision since it is Ngannou‘s very first boxing match

Ngannou does not have a boxing license (as far as I know) and will not be able to get one. In addition, under the auspices of which boxing organization will this fight take place? I didn't find any information about it. But even if we assume that suddenly this fight will become official (0 chances), we all understand that this is nothing more than an exhibition fight. I understand very well why Ngannou needs it - he will earn more for this fight than in his entire career at the UFC (LOOOOL), with Fury everything is also clear, but very shameful.

I also thought it was an exhibition match but the fight was said to have normal boxing rules which there could be a KO and will go into their boxing records. It was said to be 10 rounds but yep you're right that it may not really go the distance, 3 rounds is a bit long fight and fatigue is common for first-timers like Ngannou. Theres still 3 months to be trained though. The cowardly degenerate Fury quickly degraded to exhibition fights, lol. Everything is clear with him, but to whom this clowning might be interesting, I don’t understand? WBC permitted Fury for this fight and the Saudis are pushing for the fight. It's not just the money that made Fury decide, who knows what the story behind closed doors. Saudis are powerful and can make things happen.

That's more like it because it will be just a pure circus act if the fight is an exhibition but since the WBC belt is on the line, we can expect a much interesting fight because Francis Ngannou is known to be true in his fights, he doesn't want to receive a huge sum in-exchange for a circus because for him, it will be an honor to entertain the fans whether if it's his or Fury's.

In addition, under the auspices of which boxing organization will this fight take place? I didn't find any information about it. It will be a professional bout but the WBC belt wont be in the line for this bout as Francis Ngannou does not meet their criteria and since the match will be held in Saudi Arabia, Middle East Professional Boxing Commission will be providing the license.

Francis Ngannou is looking for a high profile Boxing fight for a while and he has got his chance and hopefully learn a lesson or two with this bout . I personally would want to see an underdog story especially if the challenger is worth it, just like this one because Ngannou is not a push over. We all probably seen those stories if you're around in the 80s - 90s era where there are challengers surfacing who would want to take their chance. ~ Ngannou does not have a boxing license (as far as I know) and will not be able to get one. Thanks for clarifying that up and I looked it up on the web to clear up my confusion because I happen to believe that Tyson Fury will be putting his WBC belt on the line against the former UFC champion, Francis Ngannou.

Maybe that is $8 Million but without pay-per-view and that is going to be few more millions on top of that. I dont believe Dana junky would ever give Ngannou that much money, but he left UFC for different reasons, not just about money. The cowardly degenerate Fury quickly degraded to exhibition fights, lol.
Sorry bro but I have to say this is really stupid thing what you are saying This is not a exhibition fight and Fury is not a coward, he is much better man than most fighters today. I would love to see you fighting against him in exhibition and we can see who the coward is. This is definitely the right decision since it is Ngannou‘s very first boxing match
Maybe first professional boxing fight for him, but he had unofficial amateur boxing fights before.

Ngannou made the right decision leaving UFC, now with this fight, it's confirmed that he will get double the amount of what he earned in his 14 fights stint in UFC. Francis Ngannou earned just shy of £3m during a 14-fight stint with the UFC Estimates suggest that he will earn more than £6m for the October 28 clash REVEALED: Francis Ngannou is set to 'earn more money in one night against Tyson Fury' in Saudi Arabia 'than he did in his entire 14-fight UFC career'The amount is very attractive and it's a precedent for popular MMA fighters to do crossover. I guess it's time for UFC to upgrade their fighters' salaries because boxing is still a more profitable venue for fighters. And who knows if Ngannou performs better here he will earn more in succeeding boxing matches.

I think there is no surprise here, I mean that's why he didn't re-sign with the UFC because of the low offer to him and just decided to quit and then pursue boxing. And now he will have the biggest pay check that he will received in his career. Also, he will have a proverbial "punchers chance", against Fury. Obviously, if he got "lucky" with that then he will have more money in his next fight.

$600k is embarrassingly low amount for a heavyweight champion fighting for the most recognizable brand in combat sports. I knew the UFC underpaid its top fighters but that is just shocking to hear that his purse was so low. Even fighters who have never headlined a pay-per-view card, like Shakur Stevenson, can earn millions in boxing. No wonder so many MMA guys seem desperate to fight against boxers even when we know they don't have much of a chance to defeat top pound for pound stars.

Yes you are right that mate $600k is very small amount of money and we all know that both fighters are too popular which the boxing organization can earn a lot of money. And aside from the tickets being sold they can earn another amount once they will accept betting from another persons. And about the MMA fighter who will fight in the boxing then I don't think so if they have a high percentage of winning.

If this fight takes place, I'm not sure yet, then for that kind of money Ngannou will agree to anything, even to the circus. And the Fury already works more for the public, so the show to the audience will be guaranteed. Moreover, we don’t know what kind of boxer Ngannou is, but perhaps in this case it doesn’t matter at all, there will simply be a confrontation between two significant fighters, and they want to make a good hype on this.

And about the MMA fighter who will fight in the boxing then I don't think so if they have a high percentage of winning. i saw a report Francis will get $30M and that's apart from the PPV pay. that's more than the money he got in his UFC compensation since the start. Francis comes from a very poor beginning, he used to work in a gravel mining company as far as he told the public. but he did start a foundation afaik which he supported kids and created a school for them. $30M would really do good in Africa. hail to Francis.

I was wondering how this could happen but I now understand after reading Ngannou's flexible contract with PFL. This is probably the biggest payday in his career so good job to his manager or promoter for making it happen.
There is no problem at all if he will fight inside the boxing industry because his camp and UFC (Dana White) has failed to come into a deal to renew his contract, so now, he got his own freedom without disrespecting anyone or any organization. Well that should be obvious since he's no longer in the UFC but what I'm talking about is his contract with another MMA organization which is PFL. He recently signed with them but part of the stipulation is that he's allowed to fight outside and that's Fury in this case. ..... I just read that Ngannou's fight purse against Tyson Fury is around $8 Million which is similar to what UFC offered him to defend his title against Jon Jones. Huge leap from his last fight which reported to be around $600K so kudos for a getting a great deal even after all the fallout. There was a lot of misreporting around the figure he got offered. That almost certainly wasn't for one fight but it will have been a very restrictive and multi-fight deal similar to what Jones got with his 8-fight deal. Francis would have been stupid to sign that when he knew he could get more for one fight against Fury which he is now getting. Francis was actually being pretty fair and wanted to sign a deal with the UFC just as long as it allowed him to fight in boxing matches too. Dana was stupid for letting that one go especially when he allowed Connor to do so. The heavyweight division is dead in the UFC now and everyone wants to see the Francis vs Jones fight which won't ever happen now unless Dana tucks his tail between his legs but even if he was open to that he would now have to work with Francis' PFL is a cross-promotion which almost certainly isn't going to happen. Hopefully Francis does well enough against Fury that he gets more interest in boxing because there's not much for him in either the PFL or UFC so boxing might be best for him.
How do you know he doesn't have one? Regardless, it's not hard to get one and the fight is taking place in Saudi so it will be under their rules/commission unless the WBC gets involved and makes up some pseudo-belt for the fight which they often do and like they did for the Paul/Tommy fight.

The exhibition fight is taking place in Saudi Arabia and up until now the undercard has yet to be decided and announced. Why is Fury doing this? What is the mindset behind the action apart from the obvious money aspect.
Fury is a boxer who wants to be mentioned in years to come alongside true boxing heavyweight legends. For that he will have to fight the very best of his own era and generation one after another successfully defending his titles. If that does not happen Fury will not be held in high enough esteem to be mentioned alongside legends such as George Foreman, Lennox Lewis, Mike Tyson and the great Ali.
I think he does not need to fight Joshua to prove anything but after beating Wilder he really needs to fight Usyk in order to unify the belts otherwise he will not be able to cement the legacy he craves.

The cowardly degenerate Fury quickly degraded to exhibition fights, lol.
Sorry bro but I have to say this is really stupid thing what you are saying This is not a exhibition fight and Fury is not a coward, he is much better man than most fighters today. No problem bro. But Fury is a real coward (or did you miss the thread about the Usyk-Fury fight, which was not made just because of Fury's cowardice?) and whatever the final official status of the fight is, it will be an exhibition fight and nothing more. I would love to see you fighting against him in exhibition and we can see who the coward is.
Is it just me or are you ready to start the classic Internet boxing by correspondence? How do you know he doesn't have one? Regardless, it's not hard to get one and the fight is taking place in Saudi so it will be under their rules/commission unless the WBC gets involved and makes up some pseudo-belt for the fight which they often do and like they did for the Paul/Tommy fight.
First, I couldn't find any information about it (I tried). Secondly, it seems to me very likely since Ngannou has so far been far from boxing in general (except his words/desires). We all understand the value of pseudo belts and the status of the fight, even if the Saudis/WBC come up with something.

For Fury, this is a guaranteed win. He knows to himself this is going to be a lopsided bout which means he is surely to win against Ngannou. Not to mention the money he'd get from the fight. Joshua is out of the picture already. There are stories coming out that Fury is avoiding Usyk as well, not sure if it's true but he could just set that fight in the future for now. Winning against Ngannou is close to an exhibition fight for him but it will be a validation for Tyson to be the baddest mf in the world. That's enough reason for his esteem.
