Wow, I'm surprised that you have faith in Ngannou to win by KO. While he is undoubtedly talented, personally, I would be cautious about betting against a legitimate boxing champion. I wouldn't be attracted to taking that risk, even if the KO prop odds are around 12.00-15.00. Instead, I would be interested to know the KO prop for Fury to win by first-round KO.

Yes, but I don't think that Fury will choose Ngannou if he knows that he can lose this fight. So he will have to used his experience here and we all know how technical Fury here as far as his defense. And I don't think that Ngannou has faster hands than Fury.

And it's boxing so Fury will have all the advantage.

But for those who goes for the underdog, then go for it, if this happens then it's going to be entertaining as what Fury is going to say after the fight.

Your vision on fast Ngannou hands can be build based on UFC gloves, but boxing are visually bigger and weight more (even though for heavyweights that is nothing). Plus fist taping is different. Also dont forget, that Ngannou main combat skills is boxing. Ngannou started fighting career with amateur boxing. Imho, Fury's advantage is his stamina. He is huge and heavy, but ready to go for more than 12 rounds. During start of mma career, Ngannou has troubles with stamina. Ngannou is inactive for 1.5 year already, that gonna play in Fury's favour also.

Since Ngannou is not a rated boxer this is questionable to some I did check if Fury could lose his title or does he has a permit coming from WBC and true enough he is granted permission from WBC to fight Ngannou.

This is true, but Fury is best of the best in boxing, he is on different level compared to all other boxers.
He is one of my favorite boxers today, not just because of his fighting skills but because of his life story, he was very depressed few years ago, near suicide, extra fat overweight, and he came back from that.
This is a great story for a good movie one day.

I'm pretty sure the meeting in the boxing ring between Fury vs. Francis is an honor and a moment that boxing fans have been waiting for in particular, maybe we are no strangers here to the name boxer Tyson Fury, the boxer is undefeated and remains the WBC world champion, while Francis is a boxer who works as an MMA athlete, this is a match worth betting on and can result in a good win for bettors' choices.

Greatest upset of all time. It could happen but I want the most spectacular KO as he did with Overeem. Ngannou beats the odds after getting out of the UFC slave contract so he got a contract on PFL plus this Fury fight. Ngaannou haters are just aas stun as DC saaying sorry to him.

You have to watch it in slow-mo because it's just too fast in real time. Any one of those punches would have been an instant KO but it was still the weakest one that landed that knocked him out. Tyson won't be able to avoid them all for the full match. I think this could be a similar fight to Wilder. Wilder isn't the best boxer but just goes for the kill by swinging bombs and hoping they connect. Wilder even started late in boxing at 20 years old. I think Wilder is obviously better boxer than Francis but Ngannou is an even bigger puncher so if Wilder can floor Fury then so should Francis and that's why it's an exciting fight for me.

Tyson fury can get into this fight with the strategy to get Ngannou tired before he can have the opportunity to throw his killer punch to Fury. Fury has a lot of experience and has faced many tough fighters like Ngannou, so he likely has a working strategy to defeat this kind of fighters. For Ngannou, I am not so sure that he has met fighters as tough as Fury, he will likely be defeated for his lack of experience. Tyson fury will have my bet to win this fight in October.

I doubt Francis will go the full distance and I doubt Fury will win by KO so it's either a ref stoppage for Fury or Francis KO for me. I'm sure Francis is working on his cardio though to try make sure he can go the distance. I think Francis' game plan will be to come out swinging and hope to smother him earlier on. If that doesn't work Tyson will pick him apart with his superior boxing skills and probably tire him out before the end of the fight.

I read somewhere it's 50M guaranteed for Fury and 20M for Ngannou. This is besides the money to be earned AFAIK. 20M is more than the amount of money that Ngannou earn in all his UFC career. So even if he loses this fight, it is way worth it for first timer boxer.

And it could be right that he may not win actually. Fury is a champ in the heavyweight division and has all the skills to outsmart Ngannou. His footwork alone will not give Ngannou any advantage. Ngannou has a lot to learn but its good that the schedule is still months away.

There is that factor too that makes us hard to bet against a legitimate boxer over an MMA fighter, but I guess in this instance I can make an exception, since Ngannou is that kind of fighter who is focusing more on his punches rather than combinations that are used fairly in MMA because they have a different set of rules.

I can say that Ngannou got a fair chance in defeating Tyson fury because it will be a battle of brute strength inside their punches and whoever lands the perfect punch will win for sure. A KO win is more likely.

I never think that Tyson is going to win and he always seems to. I saw a sports science episode where they showed that he has super human reaction times that help him dodge and counter punches at a level other boxers can’t compete with. We only have to take a look at both Fury and Ngannou's fights to tell that Ngannou has very slim chance of winning. He's got strong punches in both hands but those are very heavy hands. Can he still throw them with equal efficiency in round 4 and later rounds? I also didn't see Ngannou showing some nice dancing footwork like Fury's. And while I saw Ngannou setting up with a nice jab, how many boxing combinations does he actually have in his arsenal?

It's hard to make a good assessment of Ngannou's overall boxing skills when all of his knockout wins happened in either round 1 or 2, but in his only 2 fights that lasted for 5 rounds, we saw him badly running out of gas he could barely take a step or throw a punch. He's probably dangerous only in the first couple of rounds. But I can see Fury easily surviving, and probably outscoring, Francis in those two rounds.

For sure it's a long shot and I'd just be giving away my BTC but I usually just make small bets for the lulz.  If Ngannou via KO is lined at 10.00, I bet 20 bucks and win 200.  I'd say that's a fair value bet because think about it, if Fury and Ngannou fought 10 times Ngannou could get lucky once out of 10 times.  So at those odds, I won't mind taking it.  But we'll see.  Props won't be online til days before the event.

I was wondering how this could happen but I now understand after reading Ngannou's flexible contract with PFL. This is probably the biggest payday in his career so good job to his manager or promoter for making it happen.

There is no problem at all if he will fight inside the boxing industry because his camp and UFC (Dana White) has failed to come into a deal to renew his contract, so now, he got his own freedom without disrespecting anyone or any organization.

Well that should be obvious since he's no longer in the UFC but what I'm talking about is his contract with another MMA organization which is PFL. He recently signed with them but part of the stipulation is that he's allowed to fight outside and that's Fury in this case.

I just read that Ngannou's fight purse against Tyson Fury is around $8 Million which is similar to what UFC offered him to defend his title against Jon Jones. Huge leap from his last fight which reported to be around $600K so kudos for a getting a great deal even after all the fallout.
