I don't know if you've followed the latest news regarding the Juventus transfer market, they've practically revolutionized the team by selling players who were certainly too many and wouldn't have done well in that team, plus Thiago Motta is arriving and seems really intent on getting to the end , this year could really be the year of the championship and the champions, in terms of opponents I would say that it will be a very competitive championship with Inter who will certainly have a good championship and Napoli too, we'll see

They have truly revolutionized a team thanks to the intervention, certainly, of Thiago Motta who will have made things clear.
With a team like the one he had he couldn't do much, in fact I'm sorry that Massimiliano Allegri was attacked so harshly.
He did what he could with what he had.

What Juventus fans need to do is that they should not expect too much in the first season with the new coach and new players.
It wont be easy task for Motta to manage Juventus, although he could do something great with Bologna but it does not mean that he will be able to do the same thing with Juventus.
Of course it is reasonable if the fans and management want to see instant achievement, but expecting too much may give bigger regret then they may blame Motta in the first year or maybe in few matches in the new season.

Getting these players would definitely improve Juventus, but I wonder about two things which would be important. First of all, are we sure that we are going to see them financially be fine? After all they had some trouble before and we wouldn't want them to have the same issue again, they should make sure that they are buying these players with the money they have and following all the rules in order to make sure that they are not getting any points deductions later on, sometimes they may even do something without realizing, not because of sinister or shady reasons, but could be for incompetence reasons.

Secondly, I also think that they should be considering how weak their bench is, they are getting good starting level players, but they are ignoring the fact that they need some players who would be great for the bench as well. They have a big schedule, and will play many games, they need to get some people who would do fine, like rotating and helping with starters getting some rest. So far, they got nobody like that, and their bench is still weak, their starting players will be awesome, but the moment they get booked or injured or tired, they will suck and will not get any good results at all.

But I quite want Thiago Motta to keep the players who are in the current Juventus main squad. Because then, if later Thiago Motta managed to get good results with the players in the Allegri era, it could be proof that Juventus was right to fire Allegri and appoint Thiago Motta as the new Juventus head coach. But indeed, at least so far Juventus have just brought in two new players but at the same time Juventus have also not sold players yet at this moment.

Thus, then maybe Thiago Motta also did not completely overhaul the main Juventus squad because after all, I think Juventus already have quality players. Therefore, I really want to see the results if Thiago Motta will still use or play old Juventus players, although perhaps as time goes by there will be player sales but I am sure there will not be a complete overhaul.

I don't know if Juventus will have a decent season or not, the certain thing is that Thiago Motta wants to give a good boost to his career.
So he's really focused a lot on doing the best and doing his best since this is his chance to go to the top coaches of Serie A
So I repeat, this makes me understand that there is hope.

so ahead everything that arrives will be good and beautiful compared to the past
so I look with extreme positivity at what can honestly happen and I'm happy this way

I am convinced that they will want to maintain what currently exists, given that it works and certainly allows you to obtain subscriptions.
Seeing Inter Milan's success last season, of course they don't want to lose players who have contributed greatly to the club so that their performance remains consistent next season, but on the other hand, Inter Milan needs a budget to pay off its debts. If they don't sell players, how can they get money? they may be able to compete to win the title for prizes but seeing that the competition is not easy it will not guarantee that Inter will win while Milan's rivals, Juventus Napoli, are still Inter's main competitors.

You're right, but since we don't know how much the debt is, we can't draw any conclusions.  We'll see how the issue evolves.
Clearly, if the debt bubble were to burst, I don't know what could happen, at every level obviously.
The team would certainly suffer and we would underperform.
I felt sad for Inter Milan because the debt is a huge one, roughly close to $900 millions, this alone make investors to be scared because of the huge debts, Inter Milan has the highest debt in series A club.

OAKTREE TAKES OVER INTER MILAN AFTER DEBT PAYMENT FAILURE

Investment firm Oaktree Capital Management has taken ownership control of Inter Milan, one of the biggest brands in global soccer, after Inter’s owner, Suning, failed to repay a loan due this week with a balance of €395 million ($427 million based on current exchange rates).

“We recognize our responsibility to Inter Milan’s community, history and legacy,” Alejandro Cano, co-head of Europe for Oaktree’s Global Opportunities strategy, said in a statement Wednesday morning. “We are committed to the long-term success of the Nerazzurri and believe our ambitions for the club are united with those of its passionate fans in Italy and around the world. Our initial focus is operational and financial stability.”

I don't know if there is any update regarding this,

Milan is also having active days recently by the way. First signing Morata and now preparing to get Tammy Abraham from Roma. Morata can do a good work if Fonseca is planning to use a formation in which there are 2 strikers. Otherwise I don't think he would be much useful considering his playing style. He isn't a great finisher, he is more like a helper for the main striker.  Wink
Milan has been active, but they still didn't sign any top player. I see they only sign a youngster from Real Madrid, Álex Jiménez (19). If they can sign Morata, I think it will bring a big impact to the club because AC Milan has no strong striker now. Morata is a great striker who ever played in Serie A, he also showed nice performance when he was playing in Serie A with Juventus. AC Milan also won't spend a lot of money, Morata market value is below €20m. But I'm not sure if Atletico Madrid will easily sell him because Atletico Madrid also has a lack of top striker (CF). Atletico only has few young strikers who won't be the mainstay player for Atletico Madrid for the next season.

I doubt if Fonseca will apply 2 strikers. AC Milan current formation only needs 1 striker. So, it is very unlikely that AC Milan will sign both Morata and Tammy Abraham. If AC Milan successfully signs Morata, I'm very doubtful that Tammy Abraham will be interested to join AC Milan. He mustn't expect to sit on the bench.

Milan has been active, but they still didn't sign any top player.
It is common strategy of AC Milan recent years and it is popular in Italian clubs too. They are no longer rich and have abundant transfer budgets for transfers like 1980s and 1990s or even 2000s. They have to use their scout teams to find youth players, grow them up like Rafael Leao, or to find free agents or players with good experience but low transfer cost.

AC Milan, Junvetus, Inter Milan and AS Roma are all using this approach for player transfers and they are not ready to join transfer competitions with rich clubs from La Liga and Premier League. Good news is last two seasons, their clubs got good performances in Champions League, Europa League and Conference League. But to have sustainable improvements, they must have better system for youth players.

In modern football, tactics with 2 strikers is not favorite one and coaches usually only use two traditional strikers at the same time when they need to find goals which are either a winning goal or equalizing goal to avoid a loss.

Tammy Abraham will not be too useful for AC Milan if he joins them. He is at far lower bar in quality compares to Morata and if Morata is far from top-notch quality, Tammy is worse than that.

I know I know, don't remind me
What worse could happen than the last two seasons?  I don't think we can do worse
so ahead everything that arrives will be good and beautiful compared to the past
so I look with extreme positivity at what can honestly happen and I'm happy this way
Yes, hopefully next season will not be worse than the previous season because Thiago Motta has the ability to build a club, the hopes of the fans will definitely want the Serie A title but it is not easy in the coach's first season at least Juventus' performance remains stable and is in the top 3 and that is a good start, especially if in the Champions League Juventus can go further, that will add plus value for the coach like Inter Milan did in the previous season, last season none of the Serie A representative clubs reached further, only finishing in round of 16 I hope next season there will be better changes Wink

Wait Wait. Yes, perhaps you are right that Juventus was right to fire Massimiliano Allegri, but when he was manager they gave him zero budget.  We have to say this.
Maybe he didn't do well, but Juventus certainly didn't help the poor guy, eh.
I repeat, I gain nothing from defending him.

Now Motta has good opportunities. I hope to see him not wasting them. He is a promising young manager. I believe in him to be much better at his job in time with this valuable experience at Juventus.

His time at Bologna was such a great example of development.  Smiley

I understand that Motta made Bologna 5th, which was way more than what people expected Bologna could ever do, and they had a great winning streak as well, so all of that made it possible for people to have some results that was awesome for Motta to show.

But Juventus is a different beast, being in top five isn't an achievement there, hell Juventus finished above Bologna and still fired their manager. Success for them is to win the league, and if they fail to win the league then it is not success at all. I believe that even being second would not be ok, maybe you can keep your job if you are second, but even in that case you should show some promise, like almost win the cup or win the cup, or do fine at Europe or something.

In the end, he is going to have a much bigger challenge at his hands and I am not sure if Motta is ready for that or not. I can see that he is doing as well as he can hope for at Bologna, but Juventus could be tough. He should at least put the system in, they are training, if Juventus players could learn Mottas system, that would be a great start, would allow everyone to actually give them a chance, if the system fails here, then the whole test is over before it even starts and Motta will be gone.

There is still a crisis at Napoli.  Sad  Osimhen's future is still unclear. PSG is interested but no agreement between the clubs yet. Antonio Conte wants his centre-forward to be clear as soon as possible for next season.

If Osimhen leaves, Napoli is going to bring Lukaku in his place most probably. This is because him and Conte have a good relationship from the past. They are both okay to work together in fact but this situation needs to be clarified immediately. If Osimhen stays I wonder where Lukaku will go. I haven't heard any other European club being interested. Maybe Saudi Arabia could be the last resort. At least he could make a great deal of money.  Tongue

The season hasn't started yet and it's already a crisis?  I already know whose fault it is, obviously President De Laurentis.
He didn't understand that he has to lower the price of Osimhen, there's no point in getting angry over stupid things like that.
It will lead the team to decline to do this way.
It is destroying in a short time what has been built over years and years.

He has demonstrated his ability to do great things even with little means.  I watched some old Juventus matches with regret.
They really seem like a totally different team, before I saw players who cared about their shirt and who put in a lot of effort.
Now I don't know, it all seems so diluted to me.

Will selling Osimhen cover all the crisis Napoli is experiencing? Even that is not enough to cover up the problems that Napoli has, it is quite surprising to hear this news but like it or not, Napoli has to do something, apart from selling Osimhen to a big club, no matter what price Napoli will charge, at least Napoli has the money saved to get him. an even more valuable player like Osimhen..

I personally still think Juventus have had a good squad in the Allegri era, especially when Juventus managed to bring in Vlahovic from Fiorentina and also Milik from Marseille. But unfortunately, Allegri failed to make Juventus better, and also the case that befell Juventus might make him also fail to focus on improving Juventus performance in his coaching era. Because anyway, when Vlahovic and Milik were successfully obtained by Juventus, at least many observers also predicted that Juventus would be able to get the Scudetto at that time.

But anyway, what happened Juventus still failed and entered the next season Juventus also managed to appoint Thiago Motta to be the head coach of Juventus. Of course, with Thiago Motta's success in making Bologna have good results last season will be a great hope that Thiago Motta will also succeed in making Juventus back into a team that has dominance in Serie A. Because after all, basically Juventus already has players with great potential and thus, it should not be difficult for Thiago Motta to make Juventus better.

The scandal and -10 points deduction chaos is a big disadvantage for Juventus and it's really hard to maintain good mentality that can help player performances and plans of the coach. I don't defend Allegri but I think it's simply fact and that scandal affects Juventus performance a lot two seasons ago. In the last season, Juventus had good opportunity to win Scudetto because they only played in Serie A, no Champions League or Europa League, so did not win it means a serious failure with Allegri and Juventus.

Unfortunately there have been many problems, not all of which can be blamed on Massimiliano Allegri, in this case the strong physical decline in the second part of the season and the many injuries are indicative of many things wrong with the team.
Totally changing with Thiago Motta was the only right move to make, I don't expect them to perform well this year, but if they continue next season they will certainly be able to do well.

Thiago Motta successfully built up a good and competitive team in Bologna with limited budget and he did it within only 2 seasons. That's definitely going to be a tough one, doing what he did with Bologna will not be enough for Juventus, they have to realize that it's either the title or a bust. I know that Motta will try his very best to make sure that it works, but at the same time it is not going to be that easy at all, we are going to face some issues when trying to do that. This is why I believe that we are going to see some issues with this, because Juventus could be a good team, but the squad doesn't seem good enough to win the title, and while Motta seems like a good coach, I do not think that he will be capable of closing up that gap that easily.

There is a possibility that he could just end up with nothing at all. He could finish the league like lets say third place, and that will not be considered good at all.

I believe that we are going to see some issues with Motta having trouble with some players too, because it may not fit his system that well, we need to make sure that it could get different in the end. We need to consider how we could make it work, we need to make sure of that. This will of course not be that easy, we need to make sure that it's all going according to plan and could make some good results for Juventus.
