What a comeback by KL Rahul! After being out of the team for six months, he got this opportunity to play in place of Iyer. Cashing this opportunity at its best Rahul, if he continues in this manner a comeback century can be expected from him. Only 2 wickets are gone and India has already scored more than 220 runs. I am expecting India to go for a target which will be more than 300 runs. India wants that extra cushion in case DLS comes into play. As of now, the clouds have not cleared the sky fully they are still hovering around.

India Set a Huge Target of 357 Runs for Pakistan in 50 overs. What an amazing batting performances Virat Kohli and KL Rahul in the reserved day. Good partnership have come for India. After 40 overs the score is 251-2 with Rahul at 72* and Kohli at 57* and in the next 10 overs atleast 100 runs expected as the team have got more 8 wickets left. It is the fourth time all the top four players scoring half century.

Rauf unable to play today's match is really a bad news for Pakistan team. India is dominating the match, if Pakistan openers were able to make good partnership the match could turn anyway.

India scored 356 runs in batting with no wickets falling, after the two wickets that fell yesterday, no more wickets fell today. Both Indian batsmen managed to score great runs in today's game, both managed to score centuries, their batting performance was excellent. Especially Indian batsman Kohli and Rahul have done amazing batting performance both of them managed to score century. Kohli after his injury has done a great batting performance in this match and he scored 122 runs off 94 balls which is really great batting. I have a question (please forgive me for my ignorance) that tomorrow game will be resumed from where it was stopped today or we have a new game tomorrow.
If game is resumed from where its stopped today then India clearly are now in a good position. Pakistan need few quick wickets to stop India from giving a huge target which at the moment looks very difficult. 

But it did not happen. Pakistan was trying to safe some wickets and maintain their position but they failed. If we talk about India batting performance it was appreciable. India scored 356 run in 50 over with lost only 2 wickets. Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill both of them scored half centuries and their performance was quite great. These two players played a important role in India's victory today. Moving on to the next batsmen Virat Kohli and KL Rahul performance was unbelievably good as both player scored centuries. Now, the match has already finished just a few minutes ago.Pakistan's overall performance in both batting and bowling I feel disappointed because it was a too much poor performance. Pakistan scored only 128 runs in 32 over and all players out. Not a single player scored more than 30 runs and Pakistan was at a disadvantage in today match because Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah were absent during the batting. India bowling performance was outstanding especially Kuldeep Yadav, who took 5 wickets of Pakistani batsmen. I believe Yadav deserves to be player of the match. Openers did their job nicely and deserve a fair share of credit as they kept the Pakistani pacer in check. Koach is koach, he did what he does best. KL Rahul was equally good, considering he was coming back from the surgery, his numbers in the middle order are good and i really hope he continues this form for the next 4-5 months xD.

Bumrah was amazing but he needs to careful with his recovery, he's too valuable. Miyan also looks good, if Pandaya keeps bowling like that then it's a big plus for India. Shardul doing well so far but the biggest talking point is Kuldeep, he's on a different level when he's high on confidence.

For Pakistan, it wasn't their day at all. They need to do some thinking about what if their seamers fail to perform and it happens with everyone in any long tournaments so their spinners need to take responsibility in the middle overs, otherwise it won't be good for the team as the opposition will put extra runs on the scoreboard.

What this means is that there is no room for Mohammad Shami in the squad. If I had to make a choice between Siraj and Shami, then I would rather go for the latter, as he has more control and consistency. But with two pace-bowling allrounders in the squad (Pandya and Shardul), only two full-time pacers are needed and that means that Shami will be kept out. And in the spin department, Kuldeep is cementing his place in the XI, which means no additional slots are available apart from that of the allrounder (Jadeja). So obviously no chance for Chahal and Axar.

Asia Cup 2023 Super Fours 3rd Match India beat Pakistan by 228 runs. A very disappointing performance by the Pakistani team Shadab Khan and Shaheen Shah Afridi only 2 Pakistani bowlers picked up 1, 1 wicket rest of the other bowlers. While chasing down the target No batter scored fifty Babr Azam scored only 10 runs and Muhammad Rizwan scored 2 runs. brilliant bowling performance especially Kuldeep Yadav is the first Indian spinner after Sachin Tendulkar to take a five-wicket haul in men's ODIs against Pakistan

Pakistan team bowled out 128 runs in 32 overs and didn't play complete 50 overs. Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah are doubtful for the remainder of the Asia Cup. Pakistan has called up reserve bowlers Shahnawaz Dhani or Zaman Khan to replace them - via ESPNcricinfo. I think If India Loses Today's Match Against Sri Lanka Then Pakistan Will Be Almost Out Of This Asia Cup in 2023 because Pakistan has Negative Run rate and India and Sirlanka have plus positive run rate.

Lastly I believe that Pakistan will emerge stronger from this loss and further if these two meet in the finals once more then it’ll be an epic finale as Pakistan will be hunting for revenge.

Before yesterday's match I was almost sure that the final will be played between India and Pakistan. But now I am not that sure. There is a good chance that Sri Lanka will be able to qualify for the final, if they can defeat Pakistan on 14th September. Today's match between India and Sri Lanka is also important. If Sri Lanka wins somehow, then it will get very difficult for Pakistan to qualify. And there is always the chance of matches getting washed away. If all the remaining Super-4 matches get washed out, then India and Sri Lanka will qualify for the final.

Pakistani bowlers fitness is now becoming an issue. Due to injury of Rauf, the Pakistani were left with only four bowlers yesterday. Then Naseem Shah who was bowling really well got injured and couldn't complete his over. Pakistan has to have an option if their bowlers get injured, which for now they don't have any.

Babar Azam poor captaincy was another reason why India won. When he knew Naseem Shah was bowling out swingers well, why did he not put in a slip. He never thought of attacking the Indian batters, he was throughout yesterday playing a defensive game.

Personally I never throught that KL Rahul would have a brilliant comeback. He went through a thigh surgery a few months back but the way he was running between the wicket, felt like he never had that surgery. The heat and humidity did not even bother him as he went on to score his comeback century.

Kuldeep was on to something yesterday, he took five wickets in a pressure match. Seeing Bhumra bowling is always a pleasure, still maintaining the speed and spot-on line length.

India will be playing  again today on the same ground against Srilanka. I am not expecting the same performance again today but I am expecting them to win today's match. I would love to see Pakistan getting into the finals and playing against India once again.
