South Africa performed well in the first two matches. They won by big margins against Sri Lanka and Australia. But in the last match the team suffered an unexpected defeat against the Netherlands and lost by 38 runs against the Netherlands. That is why it is very important for South Africa to win today's match. On the other hand, out of 3 matches, England lost both. Therefore, if they do not win today's match, it will become more difficult for England to qualify for the semi-finals.

South Africa is not batting well. They are under pressure at the beginning of the innings. South Africa lost de Kock's important wicket for just 4 runs. And at the end of 6 overs South Africa collected only 18 runs. I think England will be able to win today's match.

South Africa are 394/5 in 49 overs and that's enough to prove how well they bat. Credit for this enormous runs goes to Marco Jansen and Heinrich Klaasen they have a partnership of 151 runs on just 76 balls. With 6 balls still to be bowled, it's very much possible that South Africa may cross 400 runs. It looks like a batting track but still 400 runs won't be easy to chase.

South Africa set a target of 400 runs. I didn't think they would give such a big target. My guess was that South Africa would be able to deliver a target of 350.
At the end of 40 overs, South Africa's total was 256 with the loss of 5 wickets. The team collected 143 runs in the last 10 overs. With the help of Heinrich Klaaseen and Marco Jansen's excellent batting, the team was able to provide such a big target. Klaasen scored 109 off 67 balls and Jansen scored 75 off 42 balls. Apart from Adil Rashid of England team, I don't think any bowler's performance is good. Maybe South Africa will win today's match by a big margin.

England lost two important batsmen in their top order very quickly. Bairstow and Root are out. It will be much more difficult for England to get back on track in this match. Had it been less than 350, England would have had a fighting chance. But I don't see any chance of England winning after such a poor performance by the top order batting for 400 runs. I think South Africa will win today by at least 100 runs. South Africa won by 100+ runs against Sri Lanka and Australia. The South African team made a great comeback after the humiliating defeat against the Netherlands. This is truly commendable. However, if England lose today's match, it will be their third defeat.

Appeared England gave up the chase just looking at the score. They have huge names in their team yet none performed well.

The only weak opponent with the pace of England's game is the Netherlands and the rest of the teams will be very difficult for England. Although there is a possibility of England to win fifty-fifty with Sri Lanka but it will be a great competition with Australia, India, Pakistan in this case it is not possible to imagine which team will win.

They are approaching the ODI game in the T20I mode that is why they are failing. I didn't expect this to happen at all and today everyone learnt a lesson about how someone shouldn't approach their game when chasing no matter how deep their batting line up is.

For the last wicket they had a 70 run partnership which helped them to stay away from the bottom of the table but from now to reaching the top 4 seems quite an impossible task for ENG.

Yesterday we saw some great bowling from the Pakistani bowlers in the death overs. England's bowlers would have given 80-90 runs in the last 10 overs. Then maybe the match would have been competitive. If the target was like 340, England's batsmen would not have been under so much pressure. England would not have lost wickets so quickly if they could bat freely.

Moral victory for England, they avoided going to the bottom of the table by scoring an extra 1 run. Maybe Atkinson and Woody did some calculations in the end, hence the fireworks. 

Mad respect for the Netherlands. They successfully restricted this destructive South Africa's middle order. After watching SA vs ENG, their win against SA looks even more juicer. I hope ICC taking all the notes.

However, I was not very optimistic about the Australian team in this tournament. But they have already started doing well. Reliable batting is not available in their team as before. Sri Lanka's first win today will give them some inspiration. We have got 21 out of 45 matches in the group stage of the ICC World Cup with a lot of matches to go. Some teams still have a chance to turn around.

No one having any doubt about South African quality and performance, but they are wired team because their history is full of chocking, and they still have chance to do this again after having spot into last four as they failed against the Netherlands because things are not happening on good level for them but in today match we have to praise them as they bring down England badly with their full power.

England which is also having good players into their ranks completely fail to perform as they needed to do this as defending champions with their bowlers were completely down and then after having target 400 their batting line-up unable to give them any positive hope for the better result now things are completely worst for them.

Their defeat against Afghanistan brings them on the level of 90s even in last few years they have good improvement but still need to work on their domestic system for the quality players which can give them good results consistently.

And they did with limited resources too, most of the players doesn't even practice a lot for cricket and I heard one of the player used to be a delivery person couple of months before the world cup while the front-runners are preparing themselves for years so yes mad respect for them. Netherlands have some very talented players in their squad. But their main problem is that the squad has very few  experienced players. This is why the team is not doing well. They played well against South Africa.  And to everyone's surprise they managed to win the match. So everyone  expected that they will play better against Sri Lanka. But the Netherlands' top order could not do well today.  They could have given 300+ targets today if the top order did well. Still I'd say the Netherlands played well  enough. In 2023 World Cup, India is in the best position as it is being played in their home country and they will try their best to play in the final. India also gets an added advantage from the visitors as hosts. Every player in India played very well, batting line is strong and bowling. New Zealand are in good form they are playing well in every match. I think the final could be between India and New Zealand. If Pakistan can play well in their next matches then they also have a chance to play in the semi-finals. Pakistan's chances of winning the match with Bangladesh are very high. Along with Sri Lanka, maybe there is a fifty fifty chance for Pakistan to win. Now finally let's see how well Pakistan can play their next matches to play in the semi finals.
