Asia Cup 2023 Super Fours 3rd Match India beat Pakistan by 228 runs. A very disappointing performance by the Pakistani team Shadab Khan and Shaheen Shah Afridi only 2 Pakistani bowlers picked up 1, 1 wicket rest of the other bowlers. While chasing down the target No batter scored fifty Babr Azam scored only 10 runs and Muhammad Rizwan scored 2 runs. brilliant bowling performance especially Kuldeep Yadav is the first Indian spinner after Sachin Tendulkar to take a five-wicket haul in men's ODIs against Pakistan

It was an excellent performance by team India. They batted superbly, and their bowling was also exceptional. They haven't given Pakistan's batsman any chance to play their shorts freely. Shahnawaz Dhani is a good bowler, BTW. I don't know much about Zaman Khan. But if Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah are absent, then it will out a lot of additional load on Shaheen Shah Afridi. They have one match remaining in Super-4, against Sri Lanka. If they lose that one, then they can't get to the final. Naseem and Haris got injured at the most crucial time and they are already struggling in the spin department. Even if the match gets washed out, Pakistan can't qualify for the final. Pakistani bowlers fitness is now becoming an issue. Due to injury of Rauf, the Pakistani were left with only four bowlers yesterday. Then Naseem Shah who was bowling really well got injured and couldn't complete his over. Pakistan has to have an option if their bowlers get injured, which for now they don't have any.

Babar Azam poor captaincy was another reason why India won. When he knew Naseem Shah was bowling out swingers well, why did he not put in a slip. He never thought of attacking the Indian batters, he was throughout yesterday playing a defensive game.

Haris Rauf & Naseem Shah are doubtful for the remainder of Asia Cup 2023, that means it won't be easy for Pakistan against Srilanka. Fitness is an issue in any sports not just cricket. Bowlers are prone to injury in cricket and that is what has happened. Shahnawaz Dahani and Zaman Khan have been called as back-ups for the injured duo. Keeping in mind the upcoming ICC World Cup this is the right decision taken by PCB.

I am shocked to see how Pakistani batting crumbled yesterday. My expectation was they will chase that huge target and get some where near it. They managed to score only 128 runs, the focus of Pakistani team should be now on their batting and not bowling. India has won by a huge margin yesterday of course two Pakistani players did not bat. Considering they both are tail ender they would have probably added another 20 or 30 runs to their score. Still, that would not be good enough as the runs won't pass 150.

Good come back by the Indian team considering the first match, when they only batted and managed to score 266 runs. They did their homework and were pretty clear with their strategy in yesterdays match. Today they will be again playing against Srilanka and as a fan I am hoping to see the same aggressive attitude of the Indian batters.

What can you expect when a single field is being used for multiple matches? I just saw the video of how the curator was preparing the pitch for this match. Considering the ball bouncing technology it should be expected that such a pitch would come into existence.

I am not complaining here but I think both Axar and Kuldeep would be able to utilize this pitch to the fullest. At the moment Indian batter should think about getting a partnership rather than going after the Sri Lankan bowlers. At the moment it is Dunith Wellalage who has been dominating this match.
