The hope of watching Pakistan play in the final of the Asia Cup 2023 was destroyed by Babar Azams's poor captaincy yesterday. Pakistan batters did really well on a pitch that supported spinners but what about running between the wickets? They could have added an additional 50 runs if they had taken those singles and doubles. The outcome of the match would have been different if those runs were on the scoreboard.

The problem with Babar Azam is that he is unable to handle the pressure as a Captain and an important batter. A some what similar situation happened with Kohli when he was the Captain of India. PCB should find of a good replacement of Babar Azam, it is better if he only concentrates on his batting.

I was clueless, when I saw Fakar Zaman was given the responsibility of an opening batter. The guys has been struggling with his form and in an important match, why he got that opportunity. I am sure there were other options available. It was a bad day for Pakistan and they should work on their mistakes before the World Cup.

India makes some changes for the playing 11. Surya Kumar Yadav,Tilak Verma(debuts from this match), Mohammad Shami and Prasidh Krishna are playing today. Right decision taken by the team management to give rest to Bhumraha and Kohli.

TV broadcasters would have preferred a final between India and Pakistan, but they are not going to get it. At least they should be happy with the fact that they got two India vs Pakistan matches this time (and obviously one of them got washed out and another one got stretched across two days). It is strange that in Asia Cup we never had a final between these two teams. Anyway, right now India looks like the overwhelming favorites to lift the trophy. But then, you can't discount Sri Lanka. They have the home advantage, and they always perform well during the finals.

I had great hopes from Pakistan before the tournament started. Yesterday was not a bad day for Pakistan as they lost due to their own faults. Bad decisions by the Capatain was the biggest of all issues. Next destination is World Cup for them and if they don't work on their issues then the World Cup won't go well for them.

What the heck are the Bangladesh batter doing? They are losing their wickets like they are least bothered about this match. Of course this match doesn't make any sense in the present tournament but there should be some effort to win it. Indian bowlers and fielders are enjoying on the field.

Pakistan needed this Asia Cup so badly. At least Pakistan have now come to the fact that we still are very behind to be a top quality cricket side. By beating Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Nepal we won’t become a quality side. This Asia Cup was needed badly and to be honest it has opened Pakistan eyes and told us that where we are standing as a team.

Pakistan Dreams to win world cup seems very unlikely right now. So much to work before world cup. Babar needs to captain properly as well as his batting. His failure as a batsman and captain is one big reason for the failure of this whole team. Now Sirlinka and India final of Asia cup will be played on 17 September.

When Asia Cup started, I was thinking that Pakistan is the most favored team to win the trophy. But they are now out of the tournament, and they can only blame themselves. Even during the match yesterday, I thought that Pakistan was a better team compared to Sri Lanka. But in the end, poor captaincy tactics, misfielding and lack of ability to perform under pressure situation cost them the match. But they should take this as an opportunity to prepare themselves in a better way ahead of the ODI World Cup, rather than losing sleep over it.

They are basically losing the plot in the middle overs and there is virtually no spinner who can put pressure after the Seamers finish their first spell around the 12-15 mark.

Literally, every team feasted against them in between 15-35 overs and looked comfortable. Their opening-death overs are fine but once you tackle the Pacers, they as a unit lose confidence and we saw that when the Indians posted a big total.

In the past it had become spinner friendly when India was playing against Srilanka on the same ground. That is not the problem as this game can go in favour of Indian batters as I suspect it will. Another thing that I saw was that Prasidh Krishna was a shit in the final over. He acted as if the whole Indian squad was in pressure.

Dude, I was thought that today Bangladesh  will not to able touch 150 run but I was socked. After seeing worst perform In the start of match I have gone to my bed for sleep now I am seeing they beat 265 run.
Even then there is still loosing of Bangladesh cause Indian powerfull batsmens are still available for match so If Bangladesh could took more three or four wicket before 25over there can be a chance. Anyway best of luck to Bangladesh.
