As for Xabi Alonso, I watched him play for Liverpool as I don't need much to be told about him. Watched him play for Real Madrid and also Bayern Munich with his first goal for Bayern Munich similar to that of the same scored by Cristiano Ronaldo during the Champions League Semi Finals against Bayern Munich. These two players continue to be mainstays for the club where they have played so far, De Rossi cannot be denied if he is one of the mainstay players and also a legend of Roma, while Alonso of course he has never been replaced while playing in three different big teams during his career, for now of course Alonso has greater experience in playing compared to De Rossi who currently only plays for Roma As you said, I think Alonso managed to build Leverkusen quite well based on experience and of course knowledge when he played for three big teams under many great coaches over the years.
