This team is lacking attacking players like crazy, sure Salah is great but that's about it, they really need to get a real striker that would be really good. Salah looks to need more time to return his best performances but this season comes to the ending weeks and Liverpool no longer control their chances in Europa League and Premier League.

There's no guarantee giving him more time will help him to return on his best performance. Things are always moving forward and liverpool was too dependent on him. van dijk is also performing so badly in that match.

I don't agree that Liverpool didn't show interest in the competition, they did. They were simply outplayed by Atalanta. I think Liverpool overrated themselves or they underrated Atalanta. Most Liverpool fans felt it would be a walk in the park because they were playing at home too. English fans need to follow other leagues more often, EPL teams are not the only good teams in Europe.

Yes, As Roma succeeded in answering some people's doubts about them, because before this match was held there were many narratives that doubted them. Most people underestimate Atalanta against Liverpool, even Jurgen Klopp himself allegedly underestimated Atalanta from his decision to choose the main line-up in the first half. Maybe Klopp thought that Atalanta would not play that well, but everything he thought was ultimately wrong after Atalanta won 0-1 in the first half. Klopp clearly tried to fix everything in the second half, but his plan failed because Atalanta actually scored 2 additional goals for a score of 0-3.

I agree that this is an embarrassing and disappointing result for many parties, but this is a risk that has actually been said on many occasions where it is not possible for a team to win even though they are the favorites to win. I didn't watch the Milan vs Roma match yesterday, so I don't know much about the atmosphere of the match until the end. Based on statistics, Milan basically really worked hard to win the first leg match by taking 25 kicks, but they only had 5 shots on target which indicates that Milan was really bad at finishing. Milan dominated, but Roma could compensate with their best game.
