How to deal with such an unstoppable force? Two judges have now wrapped gags around Trump’s big mouth in two of the many court cases he faces. In the New York state civil fraud case, Justice Arthur Engoron has barred Trump from making comments about his staff after Trump attacked one of the judge’s clerks in a Truth Social post. Engoron ordered the post taken down (Trump complied) and he has promised sanctions for future offenses. “Consider this statement a gag order,” Engoron said.

Turns out he didn't comply after all.  The post was removed from social media, but remained on his campaign website:

So huh ... Today I got to take a look at the news and realized that more codefendants in the Georgia case have pleaded guilty, which is certainly a surprise to me.
The most visual one is Miss Powell, who appeared on Fox claiming she was about to demonstrate all the cheating behind the presidential election of 2020, release the Kraken and similar stuff.

Obviously, the more codefendants start to plead guilty the more nervous Trump would be getting, since it is almost certain they are getting some more light sentences in exchange for fully cooperating with the procecutors.

This is quite a Rock bottom to hit by Miss Powell, keeping in mind her previous declarations and allegations, let us see what happens next...

Here is yet another example of Trump turning on his own people, just after their "own people" turn on him. Curiously, while throwing courses about a judge in New York, he tell the press to look for references about Steve Bannon from the New York courts. It does not matter, no cognitive dissonance ever.

Quote
Michael Cohen accused Donald Trump of asking him to increase the value of his assets based on a number “arbitrarily elected” by the former president.

Testifying against his former boss in a $250 million civil fraud trial, he told the court his role was to “reverse engineer” the value of assets in order to achieve the number Mr Trump had chosen.

Cohen also piled blame on Mr Trump when asked to recount the federal crimes he had pleaded guilty to in 2018.

He said he committed one of the charges - lying to Congress about Trump’s efforts to land a property in Russia - “at the direction and benefit of Mr. Trump”.

Yet another "friend" that finally gives away the mafia boss and lays plainly what many people suspected -  a permanent despise of the law and the belief by Trump that he did not really have to follow it - that's for the lower kind.

...

Too stupid to follow even the most basic of instructions.  How the hell did this man get made President?

Well, have you got some direct knowledge of the education system in the US? It explains lots of things.

To me it is more impressive how Trump is willing to say that Powell was never his lawyer or never represented his campaign whatsoever, when in reality there is digital evidence and even video of Trump and Rudy, claiming Powell was part of their team to find the alledged fraud which occurred during the 2020 election.
Of course, it only happened after Trump himself learn about Powell plea deal and possible future cooperation with prosecutors. He does not even care there is video contradicting his statements, I wonder to what extent his followers believe she was never a lawyer for Trump...

No contradiction. Part of the "team" does not necessarily make her his lawyer. Besides, this doesn't have anything to do with the things that the Deep State are trying to do.

New guilty pleas unlikely to bolster Georgia case against Trump

https://www.naturalnews.com/2023-10-31-guilty-pleas-unlikely-boost-georgia-case-trump.html
Three former legal advisers to ex-President Donald Trump have recently entered guilty pleas in an ongoing criminal case in Fulton County, Georgia. However, legal experts, including former prosecutor David Gelman, believe that these plea deals are unlikely to significantly impact the prosecution's case against the former president.

In August, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis charged Trump and 18 other individuals, accusing them of conspiring to unlawfully overturn Georgia's 2020 election results. (Related: Donald Trump pleads not guilty to ginned-up charges of attempting to overturn 2020 election results.)

Attorney Sydney Powell, who supported efforts to challenge the 2020 election results, pleaded guilty on Oct. 19 to six misdemeanor charges.

The following day, attorney Kenneth Chesebro accepted a plea deal, admitting to one felony count of conspiracy to commit filing false documents.

Jenna Ellis, another attorney who supported Trump's efforts to challenge the 2020 election results, also pleaded guilty on Oct. 24 to a single felony count of aiding and abetting false statements and writings.

Scott Hall, a bail bondsman charged in the Fulton County case, also entered a plea deal last month, acknowledging responsibility for five misdemeanor counts of conspiracy to commit intentional interference with the performance of election duties.

As part of their plea agreements, Chesebro, Hall, Powell and Ellis have agreed to testify for the prosecution as the case proceeds against Trump and the remaining co-defendants.

David Gelman, a former assistant county prosecutor and now a defense attorney, suggested that the early plea deals might be a strategy to pressure other defendants in the case to cooperate and potentially isolate Trump legally.

Why guilty pleas in Georgia 2020 election interference case pose significant risk to Donald Trump

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/trump-codefendants-guilty-pleas-georgia-criminal-case-2020-election/
The first defectors from Donald Trump's Georgia criminal case pose significant risk to the former president because they include "senior participants" in the alleged scheme to overthrow the 2020 election, experts say.

Former Trump attorney Jenna Ellis was the latest to agree to testify in any trials related to the case, which revolves around efforts to thwart Georgia's 2020 election after Trump lost. Trump and 18 others were charged Aug. 15 by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, and accused of operating a "criminal enterprise" that conspired to overturn the election.

Now, four members of that alleged racket have agreed to cooperate against the other 15.

Two other lawyers involved with the effort, Sidney Powell and Kenneth Chesebro, and a bail bondsman named Scott Hall, also entered guilty pleas in recent weeks.

Attorney Norm Eisen described the lawyers as "senior participants" in two different facets of the alleged crimes: the effort to portray Trump as the winner, and the effort to have former Vice President Mike Pence use false electors to certify Trump as the winner.

"With the pleas of the three lawyers, the rug is pulled out from under both of those legs," said Eisen, a co-founder of States United Democracy Center, a nonpartisan advocacy organization focused on elections. "That's because Powell and Ellis were two of the primary pushers of the false facts, and Chesebro of the false legal theory."

Ellis said at her sentencing Tuesday that "I failed to do my due diligence" in agreeing to work on Trump's behalf in 2020.

"If I knew then what I know now, I would have declined to represent Donald Trump in these post-election challenges. I look back on this whole experience with deep remorse," Ellis said.

Georgia State University law professor Anthony Michael Kreis said Ellis' and other confessions are "a huge boon for the D.A. when this goes to trial as prosecutors work to secure convictions."

"It also makes the case harder to attack politically as individuals are now on the record about their culpability in the scheme to overturn the election," Kreis said.

If the list of guilty pleas grows, it could mean big problems for Trump.

"That would be a very troubling development for Donald Trump, who will likely have to face multiple self-admitted co-conspirators on the witness stand testifying about his role," Kreis said.

I tend to agree with TwitchySeal on this one. Again, I am not a lawyer, nor live in the United States, but from what I have learnt from previous criminal cases I have read about co-defendants take guilty pleas can only be bad news for the rest of those who are not willing to also take a deal with prosecutors, and since we all know Donald Trump will not take any deal from prosecutors, his situation will only worsen as people continue to choose to flip on him and offer their testimony under oath.

Also, even though Powell pleaded guilty in court, she declared she was a victim of extortion and thrus she pleaded that way. I assume such out of court declarations do not have any influence on her pleading status, do they?

https://www.nytimes.com/2023/11/02/nyregion/eric-trump-donald-jr-fraud-trial.html

Quote
In a sometimes tetchy exchange, Eric Trump was asked about emails that showed subordinates asking for information about Trump’s financial reports. “Hi Eric, I’m working on your dad’s annual financial statement,” read one email from Jeffrey McConney, the Trump Organization’s former controller, asking for details about a Trump property.

Trump sons are trying to blame the accountants for the valuations and other fraudulent activities. They could very well say - "hey I was just enjoying the life of the rich, I did not know I had to know about the money you know?".

Quote
Trump’s Sons Cast the Blame for Fraud on Their Company’s Accountants
Donald Trump Jr. and his brother Eric Trump both testified in the  trial that accuses their family business of overvaluing its assets.

Just in case, for people who may not be familiar with the US system - you cannot discharge your faults on to your accountant. If an accountant prepares your tax return and these are not correct, it is you who gets audited and it is you who can even serve time in prison - not to mention pay hefty fines.

^^^ However, the thing that we are seeing is that people recognize that Trump's faults are not nearly as bad as the faults of the Deep State. It shows in the fact that the DS are bringing piddly little charges against Trump, while they are doing much bigger crimes than Trump could ever think of.

Average people are doing tiny things like the manipulations that Trump is being accused of. They are doing them just to live. And the reason they have to do them to live is, the Deep State is taking away their freedom even to live. So, they will be siding with Trump, who actually gave them freedom... at least to a great extent.

Deep state lol.
Trump has been indicted by multiple grand juries across multiple jurisdictions for both federal and state felonies.  If convicted on just a few of the nearly 100 charges he could easily spend the rest of his life in prison (although he will most likely spend the rest of his life in the White House or dragging out appeals).  Not so piddly imo.

In Florida:

31 counts of willful retention of national defense information under the Espionage Act
One count of conspiracy to obstruct justice
One count of withholding a document or record
One count of corruptly concealing a document in a federal investigation
One count of concealing a document in a federal investigation
One count of scheming to conceal
One count of making false statements and representations for allegedly causing his lawyer to certify that all classified documents had been turned over to federal authorities on June 3

In Georgia:

Violating Georgia's racketeering act
Solicitation of violation of oath by public officer
Conspiracy to impersonate a public officer
Conspiracy to commit forgery in the first degree
False statements and writings and filing false documents

In DC:

Is that a reference of people having to go out their way to face inflation and other economical problems? or perhaps do you mean other things, like the fight for the right of abortion, etc?

How is the Deep State exactly doing these things like taking away the freedom to live from the average people of the United States? Honestly, if the United States was not a first world country and one of the biggest examples of democracies in this century, I would assume you are talking about extrajudicial executions, like those one can hear about from countries going through very dangerous social crises.

Anything which is going on there, I hope it never reach a point when the things you maybe implying actually end up happening.

People lying on their forms, devaluing their properties when it’s time to pay taxes and overvalue them when looking to the bank for a loan isn’t average people doing tiny manipulations. And it’s not about the average person as the average person would have long faced some consequences.
If there’s anyone’s freedom being taken away, it’s the freedom of women to choose what’s best for them concerning abortion. It’s about time Trump is held accountable for his many many wrong doings.

I'm guessing when BADecker refers to "deep state crimes", he means that society now calls him out on being a bigot and places limitations on his access to firearms.

I mean, noones likes to be called out for anything, even though one knows one is not in the right direction but actually at fault. You call a thief a thief and they will lash out against you.
He is free to think and believe whatever he wants, as long as he repects other's people views. The problem starts when his views are so incompatible with the current political correctness, so he starts to perceive himself to be mistreated by society and comes to the conclusion there are demons roaming around the streets.
Granted, there is much evil in this planet and we should be aware of it, but when one can only talk bad things about one's society and country under a particular administration, then it is time to check one's political ideas.

I kinda want to thank you, Hipo, especially if you are talking about me. I mean, when somebody is important enough that his personal political ideals should be checked, rather than the good/bad he is doing... well, that's pretty important.

Trump's political ideals have been described >>> MAGA. And it shows in all the good things he was doing for his country - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5269905.msg55119252#msg55119252.

But anybody can see the big bad things that the current regime is doing to their country. All a person needs do is expand a little on the things that OgNasty posted here - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5391975.280.

So, what do you think? Is the way a person puts his pants on more important that the things he does for or against his country? Are you going to focus on the way the guy sits on the toilet?... or what he does that affects the people of his country and the world? It seems like you are moving from what is important into ad-hominem attacks. Why skip the ad-hominem? Because everybody makes mistakes as well as doing good things. What's important is the BIG good he is doing for others.

So, with regard to whatever affects America and her people, look at the evidence between Trump and Biden. Look also at what Americans are legally, lawfully, and peacefully doing about it (second site, below). The next step is Americans legally sliding out from under the oppression of their government.

In DC:

Remember when they used to chant that?

I do remember Trump in an electoral debate saying to Hilary - "you are going to jail" and for much much less than what he is accused of and with much much less evidence of any offence. I think that the good thing about the trial in New York is that all the evidence is in written so only those who are willing to simply ignore anything that is not to their liking can keep defending the guy and thinking he is not a felon.

Actually, there is a big difference between Trump accusations and Hillary accusations.

Trump has done very little wrong regarding his governmental operations. And, he has done a lot of good - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5269905.msg55119252#msg55119252. In addition, Trump is in favor of Making America Great Again - MAGA.

Hillary did a lot of bad in government... One example is the Benghazi episode - https://duckduckgo.com/?q=Benghazi+Hillary&t=ffab&ia=web. And outside of government, she wants to make American freedom - MAGA - go away. She calls it a cult - Hillary Clinton: "There Needs To Be A Formal Deprogramming" Of The Trump Cult Members - https://www.freedomsphoenix.com/News/351830-2023-10-07-hillary-clinton-there-needs-to-be-a-formal-deprogramming-of.htm.

You are mixing government stuff with personal stuff. The Trump trials are personal stuff. So:

1. Trump personal stuff: maybe a little bad, but maybe not bad at all. The verdict isn't in, yet;
2. Trump government stuff: good.

3. Hillary personal stuff: bad;
4. Hillary government stuff: bad.

Trump is right, and probably good.

So:

That's what Jack Smith is saying too.

Trumps lawyers are literally arguing in court that that the Washington DC charges should be thrown out because for all the crimes he's been charged with involve his official actions as president and therefore he should be immune from criminal prosecution.

Jack Smith says he was acting as a candidate and working for his re election campaign, which is separate from office of the president.

Stefanik Hits "Radical Leftist" Trump Judge With Ethics Complaint

https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/stefanik-hits-radical-leftist-trump-judge-ethics-complaint
While the jury is still out over whether the wife of Judge Arthur Engoron made anti-Trump posts on X, Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) has filed an ethics complaint against judge himself, accusing him of displaying "inappropriate bias and judicial intemperance" towards the former president in his civil fraud trial taking place in New York.

"I filed an official judicial complaint against Judge Arthur Engoron for his inappropriate bias and judicial intemperance in New York's disgraceful lawsuit against President Donald J. Trump and the Trump Organization," Stefanik told NBC News. "Americans are sick and tired of the blatant corruption by radical Leftist judges in NY. All New Yorkers must speak out against the dangerous weaponized lawfare against President Trump."

According to the complaint, Engoron has exhibited "clear judicial bias" against Trump, including telling Trump's attorney that the former president is "just a bad guy," who NY Attorney General Letitia James "should go after."

"Simply put, Judge Engoron has displayed a clear judicial bias against the defendant throughout the case, breaking several rules in the New York Code of Judicial Conduct," reads the letter.

"Judge Engoron entered summary judgment against the defendant before the trial even began, without witnesses, other evidence, and cross-examination," she continued, noting that this was "despite the fact there's disputed material evidence–and there's no victim of the defendant's supposed fraud. "

Stefanik also notes that Engoron and his staff are "partisan Democrat donors," and that Engoron himself, as recently as 2018, "donated to the Manhattan Democrats."

Elise Stefanik wants to run for VP it seems.

Former prosecutor on Stefanik’s ethics complaint against NY fraud judge: ‘She knows better’

Quote
A former federal prosecutor went after Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.) on Friday, saying her ethics complaint against the judge presiding over former President Trump’s New York business fraud trail is “irresponsible.”

“She knows better,” Andrew Weissmann told MSNBC on Friday. “And that is really — this idea that it’s constantly a step too far and it’s now normalized where you have somebody in Congress doing that and the judge is just doing his job.”

Weissmann, who was a federal prosecutor in New York and the FBI’s general counsel, described Stefanik as one of “a number of enablers” for Trump.

“You may disagree with him,” he said, referring to the judge. “You can say that. You can say he’s missed evidence. But really? A complaint against him for doing his job? Beyond the pale.”

Stefanik’s complaint against Judge Arthur Engoron alleges that the judge has shown “inappropriate bias and judicial intemperance” against Trump in the case.

Her letter also echoes many of the same arguments Trump’s legal team has in protesting the trial, brought forth by New York Attorney General Letitia James, in which prosecutors are seeking to strip the former president and his adult sons of their state business licenses.

Engoron already ruled that Trump committed business fraud by manipulating the value of his assets, the trial is set to determine damages. Prosecutors are seeking at least $250 million in penalties.

Trump took the stand in the trail on Monday, going on random stump-speech-like tangents which sparked rebuke from Engoron towards Trump’s lawyer, Chris Kise.

“Mr. Kise, can you control your client? This is not a political rally,” Engoron said.

Much of Stefanik’s complaints were over a partial gag order imposed on Trump and his attorneys preventing him from bad-mouthing employees of the court and case witnesses. He has been fined a total of $15,000 for two violations of the order.

“If anyone in America must have the constitutional right to speak out against the judge, his staff, the witnesses, or the process, it’s a defendant going through a process he believes is politicized and weaponized against him,” Stefanik wrote. “To gag a defendant is un-American.”

The seven-week trial remains ongoing.
