Yeah this was denied already.  In fact, this motion is basically the same as the one they filed last summer - when the judge had the state court ethics council determine there was no conflict of interest.

A judge’s impartiality cannot reasonably be questioned based on (a) de minimis political contributions made more than two years ago or (b) the business and/or political activities of the judge’s first-degree relative, where the relative has no direct or indirect involvement in the proceeding and no interests that could be substantially affected by the proceeding.
(2) As a result, the judge is not ethically required to disclose such facts or circumstances sua sponte in the proceeding, regardless of any surrounding publicity or lack thereof.  The judge may continue to preside in the matter provided the judge believes he/she can be fair and impartial.

He's literally just trying to not have to face a jury.  Even if he had a legitimate argument that hadn't already been ruled on regarding the judges recusal, that ship has sailed - his opportunity to make those arguments has passed - so he would need to prove that something changed or significant new information was revealed that he couldn't have known when it was the appropriate time to file these motions.

Trial is set to start next week.  Decent chance he fires all his lawyers by then, I think that would probably force a delay of a couple weeks, of course then he wouldn't have any of his lawyers anymore - but we'll see.  The wheels of justice turn slowly...

Look at the Muslim population. Islam formally allows a man 4 wives and a concubine. And in Judaism - Christianity in agreement - Solomon, possibly the richest man ever, had 700 wives and 300 concubines. The only reason why it might be wrong to have more than one wife in the US is that it is common law in most of America to have only one wife. Trumps 2016 Election Interference Trial has Started
They haven't even brought in any of the jury pool yet, and jury selection will probably take a couple weeks or longer if Trump has any luck, but this trial is moving forward.

Hopefully history will view this case  as the prologue of a much larger story about Trumps disregard for laws to help himself become president in 2016 (successfully) , to try and stay president in 2020 (unsuccessfully) and then as a civilian so he could pretend that he was still president and impress his friends with all those government secrets he had stashed away in bathrooms and basements at his beach club.

Right now, Steinglass, the prosecutor, is doing a lengthy recounting of Trump's comments on the infamous Access Hollywood tape. There is no new information there, but Trump is listening as his own words about grabbing women’s genitals are recounted.

These "undocumented migrants" include terrorists, drug dealers, and intelligence agents of countries such as our enemy, China. It should alarm every American that 22,233 Chinese nationals have illegally entered the United States since the beginning of the fiscal year in October. If this rate continues, this year's total will easily top the 24,125 Chinese nationals who illegally entered the country last year.

There has been an astounding 6,300% increase in the number of Chinese nationals illegally entering the country in the last few years. Since China is a communist nation, these individuals are not freely traveling to the United States for a "better life." U.S. Senator Roger Marshall (R-KS) believes the influx is due to "the direction of the CCP (Chinese Communist Party)" and it involves "espionage" as well as "stealing military and economic secrets."

Last year, China sent a spy balloon over our country, and it was not shot down until it completed its trek across many states. In addition, Chinese investors are buying American farmland for nefarious reasons, and it was confirmed that China operated "police stations" in the United States to monitor their citizens in our country.

China is constantly threatening Taiwan and its other neighbors while building up its military forces. Their proxy state, North Korea, has started regularly testing long-range ballistic missiles that concern their neighboring countries.

Oh sorry I forgot graphs make you irrational and cause memory loss. Remember how you were feeling right before the Trump recession, right in the middle of Trumps term?  

It looks like the next Great Depression is just about here. My fear is a sudden collapse of the banking system. Most of us aren't used to barter, and if the banking system goes down, the electrical and Internet grids might go down at the same time. Bitcoin would be worth very little after that.

Luckily, the people chose a new leader for the country and he was able to turn things around and avoid another recession, against all odds seemingly.

I'll explain sans graph again:

When Trump was sworn in there were 145.6  million US Jobs.

When he left office, there were 142.7 million US jobs.

142.7 is 2.9 less than 145.6

That means that while Trump was in office, the total US job growth was negative 2.9 million.


When Biden was sworn in, there were 142.7 million US jobs (because it was the same day Trump left).

As of the last jobs report (Feb 2024) there are 157.8 million US jobs.

That means, so far under Biden 15.1 million jobs have been created.




Summary:

Total job growth for Trumps entire term: -2.9 million
Total job growth under Biden with 6 months left in his first term: +15.1 million.

Trumps actually had the worst job growth of any president in modern history.  SAD!
