If somebody says something that opposes something else he/she said, there's a lie involved. Transcripts of lies don't mean anything at all.

The closest anyone can come to deciphering if contradicting statements that a person makes are lies, is to taker them in context. For example, if Trump says, "Yes, I paid my attorney firm," it might sound like he is admitting to paying off Stormy. But when he says, "It was a standard payment for services rendered," then there is clarification.

When Trump say, "I gave the attorney firm instructions to fix my problems whatever they may be," sounds like he is telling them to pay off Stormy if necessary. But when he says that some 'Stormy' problem didn't even enter his mind because he wasn't aware of anything like that, when he told the attorneys to fix his problems, things change again.

In other words, Trump never admitted to having inappropriate relations with Stormy of any kind, even when it sounded like he might have. It's all speculation that he did anything inappropriate.

In order to compensate Cohen for the payment, he had to be repaid double so that he could pay taxes as if it were earned income.  In addition to the 130k, Trump also owed him $50k for rigging some polls using a company called Red Finch (you were right, some polls are lies). So he was owed ($130k + $50k) X 2 = $360k.  $180k to reimburse the payments he made, $180k to pay income tax to make it look like income.  He was also paid a $60k "bonus" for his actual work.  So the final total was $420k, and they agreed to pay him $35k monthly for 1 year. ($35k * 12 = $420k).

Prosecutors say that he falsified records of reimbursements to his personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, who had paid $130,000 (£102,000) in hush money to an adult film star before the 2016 election.
