Hey,

could not log in:

"A record with the supplied identity could not be found."

credentials are correct 100%

I experienced the same problem, and I'm also sure that the credentials I used were correct. I ended up using the password recovery function and changed my password and it seems OK now, but I have to admit it makes me a bit concerned.

Any idea what caused this?

doesn't the mining software you use allow for backup pools?

Ofcourse! But its notlike the computer is going to fallback onto a pool if the comp crashed/locksup

My point is, 50BTC has no !ALERT! miner down functionality.
I have the bitcare app installed on my phone, And No, I do NOT get told when a miner goes offline, I've been trying so many differant things.

if your computer is crashing/locking up you need to check your overclocks and tweak them a bit lower.  I have rigs that have been running non-stop for months.

No, Really?
Dude, I cant watch all my networks computers, People play games on the videocards, And SOOOMEETIIIMEES they lockup, Regardless of clock, Why? Intensity wasnt reduced.
Look placing the fault onto me that i dont know when my miners go down, Yes, Im the one that should makesure they run etc etc etc, Your right, But i cant control external people who play on my computers,

Oh this is new, Somehow (i think via bitcare) my phone gave me an alert stating that one of my miners was down.
It's never done this before

Oh i now i know why, Because i need ALL of my miners to fail for BTCcare to alert me, I just had my router wires "come loose" calims the person that knocked the router over
When will 50BTC have email alerts? I have them enabled but im not recieving ANYTHING

Damn this thread is dead for such a large pool

Sorry, for delay. If you want quick response - contact support from your account on the pool or mail to pool@50btc.com. As we've sad before, at the moment there are some difficulties with email notifications from pool and we are working to solve it.

50btc.com - PPS pool, instant payout (Visa, Liberty Reserve, QIWI, Yandex.Money, WebMoney,...), API, fast and responsible support, pay for stale shares.

So how are those email alerts coming along? On october 27th you acknowledged the problem.

BITCARE DOES NOT WORK, It gives Compleatley false information such as "Your miner is down, But is hashing at 575mh/s, And has submitted 19455 shares in the last 20minutes" "also, Your other miners are up, But have submitted 0 shares in 20minutes, Oh, And it's running at 280mh/s"
"Oh and also im gonna drain your phones battery"
"Oh also, Im not going to alert you worth Shit unless ALL your miners go down"
"Oh! Oh! i almost forgot about all the False "miner down" warnings i feed you, Dont you love calling home and asking about the computers three times a day?"

50BTC has become the largest pool, And yet it takes Two Weeks to get seemingly Nowhere in fixing email reports of miner failure?
Give us a status update!, Something like "well we found that XYZ was not correctly grabbing info from BCA, Thats fixed, But theres still more"
Because i really do think that 50BTC is not doing anything in regards to fixing email notifications.

It took Tycho Two Days after testing to have fully functional email alerts

BITCARE DOES NOT WORK

bitcare works fine for me man, pops up a notification in android very quickly when an individual worker goes down... plus.. its not the pools problem that you can't properly monitor your workers, they already stated the monitoring feature is down currently. if its that big a deal just move to another pool and pay a higher fee. 50BTC is a DAMN good pool for only 3%

We've got 5Thash/s! Thank you all! Coming updates:
- Email notifications fix. Currently on testing, we have ~12000 active workers on the pool, so we need to make sure that the system is able to work with such a load.
- X-Roll-NTime, will be launched on Monday!

50btc.com - PPS pool, instant payout (Visa, Liberty Reserve, QIWI, Yandex.Money, WebMoney,...), API, fast and responsible support, pay for stale shares.

In case you didn't see my post, I wrote a .Net "widget" for Windows that allows you to monitor your miners on p2pool, eclipse, ozcoin, and 50btc.  More pools are coming as time permits (bitminter is next).

I'm using cgminer 2.7.1 and also getting very high rejects for last few days. I changed to another pool but when I tried 50 btc again it was still having issues.

Here's what I see now:

Q:8439  A:37169  R:2051  HW:1  E:440%  U:12.1/m

Up until a few days back I always had very low rejects and I have not changed anything at all.
Switching to another pool until this is resolved.

Here's a segment from my log and I've noticed this happens at each longpoll like this,

Code:
[2012-11-22 21:44:06] Accepted 137c3b45.db61c58d GPU 2 pool 0
 [2012-11-22 21:44:12] Accepted 92371924.45e6083d GPU 1 pool 0
 [2012-11-22 21:44:17] Accepted 2b38048d.c74af06a GPU 0 pool 0
 [2012-11-22 21:44:19] Accepted a9f0dd71.97c68387 GPU 2 pool 0
 [2012-11-22 21:44:21] Rejected 3eebb41e.e6e6decd GPU 1 pool 0

 [2012-11-22 21:44:37] Rejected 5263f6f8.06c4b9e4 GPU 1 pool 0
 [2012-11-22 21:44:44] Rejected c8333f3e.efc74e0e GPU 0 pool 0
 [2012-11-22 21:44:45] Rejected f1bf2204.37ac6f20 GPU 2 pool 0
 [2012-11-22 21:44:46] Rejected 1b1001fd.784bd629 GPU 1 pool 0
 [2012-11-22 21:44:50] Rejected 5aa8f448.74c9068b GPU 2 pool 0
[2012-11-22 21:44:51] New block detected on network before longpoll
 [2012-11-22 21:45:01] Accepted e05d9559.70fa6d66 GPU 1 pool 0
 [2012-11-22 21:45:04] Accepted 63df1ca8.378aa886 GPU 1 pool 0
 [2012-11-22 21:45:06] Accepted 8f568c87.a7ececb5 GPU 0 pool 0

Sometimes the string of rejects happens after the longpoll and not before. Sometimes only one reject but often many.

i have seen the same behavior with home rigs where network is 10mb down / 1mb up.
in networks 100mb up/down the rejects are 10 times lower! i wonder....
i guess these rejects are not the same with the stales shares that are paid by 50btc, are they?
maybe implementation of startum can solve this issue?
