According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

We are in the same boat. I was happy to use the worker online/offline feature to check on my stuff from work, but it's giving me a mini heart attack in every 2 days so far :/

Problems with worker data and statistics are caused by maintenance at the data center. There's nothing wrong with the pool, every share is counted.

50btc.com - PPS pool, instant payout (Visa, Liberty Reserve, QIWI, Yandex.Money, WebMoney,...), API, fast and responsible support, pay for stale shares.

22.05, 00:31,I sent a payment from 50BTC.com, and it shows up as if it had been executed, transaction ID:

http://blockexplorer.com/tx/f15e774c7bd3fdeada77378b94f712eadafb1409d7f9e26450b492f2927599ca

But this transaction is nowehere to be found, and needless to say, the bitcoins did not reach the recipient.

Your transaction was included in block recently: http://blockexplorer.com/block/0000000000000005f9e4a7fc696addad9b1e4f1d790746eca826d961db4e74e2

Might I suggest you put the information about how/when payments are made in the first post, this seems to come up a lot, I'd explained it about 3 posts above this one Smiley

Thank you for explanation, but now we do not include transactions in the block found by pool. As soon as we implement it, we will update the first page and web site.

Something has to be up with the pool and not just website.

Some of my workers are ok and some are switching to backup pools.

My ASIC blades started disconnecting and restarting after which i noticed a message in the control panel saying there might be downtime due to datacenter maintenance.

Do let me know when the maintenance is over.

Also it would be a good idea to have topic / thread started to let us know of the start of the maintenance or downtime activity and reply to the same thread when the maintenance is over.

americandesi,

Now the maintenance is over, everything is operating normally.
Thanks for the suggestion, we'll think about this.
Unfortunately sometimes the data center does not aware about maintenance beforehand.

Here is goes again...  Angry One of my workers are shown offline. Last share at 15:17. The other one is shown online. Last share 15:32. In fact they are both submitting shares.

Did you find my posts helpful? Did I say say something nice? Your generosity is much appreciate.

Yeah, pretty constant problems for couple days with pool. IO errors and that typical "No JSON object could be decoded" thingy with GuiMiner. Before that no problems really for a month. Have deleted and reinstalled all related GuiMiner files but no avail. Happily worker has stopped only once, other than that it has worked thru those errors, just creating lots of more stale/invalid shares than normally. As these problems started to occur just couple days ago, it's hard to see what could be problem at this end. Especially, that system haven't being changed within that time.
It's windows 7 64bit system, with 7870XT as miner. Using latest official catalyst drivers.

My suspicion is that some shares were lost or not counted.  The difficulty change has not yet occurred but I'm down over 0.11 BTC today - roughly the 3 hours missing on the miner graph.  Either the website balance is not correct or I lost 3 hours of work on 19GH/s.  And I'm on PPS, so it's pretty easy to calculate loss (as no pool switching has occurred in CGMiner).

Could the balance being reported be lagging behind? Or is that the true current balance?

It was our experiment with zero commission fee, just several users was affected.
Sorry for delay, eventually you will receive your bitcoins, it may take some time.

I still didn't receive payment (anonymous miner). How much more time should we wait?

Looks like it was just lag, my balance is now about where it should be in the time since my last payment

No problems with this, but it was 0.2-0.3% two weeks ago and now connection with any of pools is difficult, my miners goes offline(not only on dashboard), no stability as it was before.
