Trading is not a course to be honest. Yes you can learn the basics of trading or how to read the market etc. But if you ask how to trade? Then it can be learnt by experience only. I will suggest you a basic roadmap. Learn the initial pre requisite for trading. Learn about analysing charts and patterns of coins. When you are done with this, then go for demo trading with dummy money. Once you are confident with this, then switch for real money and trade with minimising the risk.

Certainly, trading is not an education. Training alone is insufficient to be able to trade and one must always improve himself/herself with experience. Learning how to trade and then improving oneself by gaining experience is the most basic step in becoming a successful trader. It is especially important for people who are new to trading to complete their training on trading in general and learn to trade with a demo balance or a very low amount of real money. In this way, after the knowledge gained through education is gained through experience the person will reach the potential to trade successfully. It will become clear during this trial period whether the person can determine that he/she has started trading with his entire balance or high amount of real money.

I spoke to a tutor who teaches trading, and he said for his lectures, he teaches for an extended period of nine months for anyone who wants to learn trading from him. Please I like to read the personal experience of some traders here, how long did it take you to learn to trade profitably, and what was the hardest thing to learn? did it take you weeks, months or years? Do you think that trading can be learnt well in a short time like three weeks for a quick trader? Can someone who is a proffesional trader just go straight to the point pointing out what is needed to make a successful trader to a newbie to learn quickly?
Even though learning to trade takes time, nine months is simply too long. What exactly is he going to educate you? If you pick things up quickly, you may master the fundamentals of trading in a few weeks, after that, you'd have to work on your own improvement. Trading involves continues practice, it is not just something that someone can teach you. You can improve as long as you keep practicing. If I'm being fully honest with you, nine months is too long. Learn the fundamentals of trading and begin practicing with little money if you want to become a real trader. You will undoubtedly blow the account, but you will undoubtedly gain a lot of knowledge through frequent practice. If you want to be a real trader, keep in mind that you will constantly learn new things.

just like if we use the same trading system and technique, but the results will not be the same, this is a different human psychological factor, what is clear is that each person has their own goals and can carry out their targets according to the portfolio that has been planned, so in the end there will be achieve the same goal. Therefore, real training by doing real trading is highly recommended before we start trading for a living

and what was the hardest thing to learn?
Imo
Trading is 99% emotional, 1% technical (note: 1% if you master a lot of technical knowledge). Trust me, you need 1 week just to understand all the indicators. But it  years to understand "MARKET PSYCHOLOGY" in candlesticks.

There is a saying that I remember to this day "A person will become an expert in a certain desired field after he has done and studied it for 10,000 hours." by - Malcolm Gladwell

You need to be patient and keep trying.

It is commonly said that there is no shortcut to success, same also, in learning to trade, trying to cut corners can be very dangerous, trading is not something that can be learnt in weeks as you have presumed, trading is simple in the surface but very complex in the inside, this is why for most newbies, they usually see trading as something that is very simple to do, and because of this, they often feel why should it take so much time to learn something so simple.

Personally, I would say that learning to trade never stops, for the market is always evolving, this is why there are still some professional traders who still make some unexpected guess and then fail which results in loss of funds.

So, based on this, i would say that there is actually no specific period or time stipulated or stamped to be an accurate time a newbie can learn to trade and become good at it, the newbie just have to keep learning until he or she feels confident enough to commit real money into the learning process, remember i mentioned before that learning never stops as long as it has to do with trading.

You said it right; it seems that the theory is different from the actual, if that's what you mean. Because of my experience, the lesson is easy, but applying what has been studied is the difficult part, and it cannot be easily understood.

That's why those who have experience in actual trade are better able to understand compared to those who are just studying trading.
Then 2 years passed before I had a deep understanding of reading the trading chart, or s graph, to be honest, because it is not easy to understand based on what I have been through here.
Basically all work is not easy, because everyone needs to learn slowly and keep doing it so that we can get used to what we do so that things that at first seem so difficult become easier due to the habit of doing them. That's why I don't think that trading is an easy job, because there are probably a lot of people who have the capital to trade. But not all of them can read trading charts correctly so some people still have to deepen this knowledge in order to get luck when trading, because cash alone will not be enough to make a profit if there is still very little knowledge about trading.
I never believe in luck.
Trading is not an easy thing to do because there is a lot of learning that has to be done beforehand and it takes a long process or time for us to learn, but that doesn't mean this is something that can't be done by everyone because basically trading is for people who want to learn.

In my opinion, time is uncertain because people's capacity and learning will be different so there are some things that can be done quickly or vice versa, but what is certain is that if the person is willing to learn then I am sure they will be able to trade well and correctly, and this must be underlined. is that profit and loss are normal and normal things that happen, no matter how good a person is at trading, they will definitely experience these two things.

I never believe in luck.
Well I did because it already happen to me - is different place and situation.

I would agree that trading is not easy but not difficult to learn if we really want to know about it. Of course, it never happens too fast and quick but as we keep going, we can learn a lot of things. That is why those people who would think that they can make money is a short time, those who have never understood trading itself.

No instant, that was the fact and we can't change that. Before we become pro traders and reach our goal, we also have a lot of suffering and losses.
If we wanted to become a pro-trader then we should also have the courage and spirit, and of course, to become patient.

I agree. These days, the basics of trading are already there for us to know. Now how to deep dive into the main trade is where people get to find it difficult or maybe thinking they're missing out. I won't say I have mastered trading either, but the tactics I use are mostly using passive income bots like smart trend and snowball to keep my portfolio active while I keep learning

If we ask everyone here personally  how long it took them to learn trading? Some will say in a week,  some few weeks or even month(s) and year(s). This shows that there is no universal range or period for one to master the art of trading. It solely depends on what one intends to achieve. After learning the basics, you do a continuous learning to improve your skills. Learning never ends. Technology is advancing almost every day,  so one must learn to catch up with new trends and improve their portfolio.
The bottom line is, if you're ready and open to learning,  it shouldn't take you long to master few skills that will help you while trading.

Honestly, it's hard to find a beginner trader who has that kind of passion for learning. they read trading skill theory, try it, and when they fail they will continue to learn and try again.
The current situation is that many beginners want instant trading. they don't care about skills. just follow the trading signals and when they make several times the profit, they consider trading as part of their success.

what you said, every beginner should have. learn every day because technology also develops every day. so we don't want to be left behind, we have to continue to upgrade our skills and knowledge.

Here's my cent. Other's experiences or achievement in trading has nothing to do with your own trading. It's irrelevant. You have a different environment, market conditions, capital, psychology, and needs. Asking anyone can be just a pump in your motivation but you cannot compare your own journey to them.

Yes, having a coach can speed up your learning process because you don't need to figure things out alone but just ask the right questions. And still, even with a mentor's help, you still have to put in the hours to learn trading. You have to experience series of wins and losses and have that frame of experience. Build up your psychology and risk management. After all, learning trading is far different from actually experiencing profitability in trading. You have to trade to learn how to.

Learn to trade profitable? Is it only the good side of trading that we have to learn? What about learning how to counter the negative side of trading?
To me some won't give you a specific number of time, days, weeks or even months to learn how to trade, sometimes when given let me say a month to learn it might take you weeks to get the main part of it before getting to the actual time given to you to learn.
What I'm saying is that there's no specific time to groom yourself into learning how to be a good trader, it all depends on you, how fast you're in grabbing things no matter if your see yourself as a newbie or not, and never see yourself as a newbie when learning something, it makes you look small and you can't give your all or what you have to offer. Ones you're in, see yourself as someone who's out there to face the main challenge of the crypto world.

Totally agree on this. Most of the beginners nowadays are in total rush, and that they think that just after a few days or weeks of trading they will already generate a huge amount of money. Trading is much like solving a mathematical equation, and that it requires trial and errors. But in trading, there isn't an absolute formula and that everyone can have their own tactics and techniques, and one strategy is not applicable to others. But every strategy should have the same implication, and that is to have a better trading outcomes. If traders who have been in the business for quite a long time are still learning every day, what more for those traders who have just entered the trading industry? I think that patience and the passion to learn is what makes a good trader.
Afterall, learning trading is not defined on how much money you have earned, but it is about how much experienced you have gained.

just like if we use the same trading system and technique, but the results will not be the same, this is a different human psychological factor, what is clear is that each person has their own goals and can carry out their targets according to the portfolio that has been planned, so in the end there will be achieve the same goal. Therefore, real training by doing real trading is highly recommended before we start trading for a living

Of course, if you constantly use the same strategy but don't obtain positive results it is necessary to determine that there is an error in the use of this strategy and the reason for this error. Generally, it is an indisputable fact that the most important reason in such a situation is human psychology. At this point, the person needs to make a correct analysis, gain new experience through their current strategy and accordingly solve the problem. Ensuring the continuity of trading is achieved by constantly gaining experience from the mistakes made and in order for a person to continue their life as a trader they must constantly update their experiences by identifying their mistakes. In addition, in order for a person to continue their life by trading it is very important that they has a lot of experience, earns regular income in this way and has accumulated enough savings to continue his life in possible bad market conditions.

I am not a professional trader but I have experience in trading, like other newbies I didn't have any idea about trading and I came here to the community before there was a lot of free training in the trading discussion and beginners and help with the use of the technical indicators and how to use the signals, after that I take a lot of videos in youtube, after that I did my own research and seek for the suitable strategy I made as always a short term trading because the market is good at that point and I know in my self that I'm bad with the short trades because most of my lose came there, and now I become a long term holder waiting for another ATH in the market.

The time it takes to learn to trade profitably varies, but it often takes years, not weeks. Professional traders can share valuable insights, but trading is a complex skill that requires ongoing learning and practice.

The time it takes to learn to trade profitably varies, but it often takes years, not weeks. Professional traders can share valuable insights, but trading is a complex skill that requires ongoing learning and practice.

Of course, like the perspective of most people that trading is indeed very difficult to learn and they admit it, there will be quite a lot that you learn and maybe for the beginning you can learn the basic steps such as maybe understanding the broker you use and also learn first on a demo account, start adapting to everything there. And for the problem of how long they learn to trade I think it will come back to each individual, because of course everyone has different characters and abilities, one of which is in absorbing knowledge from something they learn. If indeed they have a diligent personality and are always consistent in learning I think they will not take a long time in learning, it might only take 6 months until they can make their own strategies and trade, but for those who are lazy in learning but really want to make a profit I think it could take years until they can get the knowledge that will really be useful.

So the point is that in my opinion it is quite difficult to be able to say how long it is effective to learn trading, because of course there are quite a lot of factors that can affect or hinder someone in the learning process, not to mention their character that may not be in line with this profession, and obviously it can be an obstacle in the learning process.

My experience was that when I plunged into the world of crypto and carried out trading activities, I thought I could learn all that in just a few months, but apparently not, From several things I have done in crypto trading to get effective and stable results from trading, it turns out that in trading activities there is no set time limit for learning, skills, ability, practice, patience and so on grow over time day by day, learning new methods continues to grow as time goes by.

I assess and experience that I am currently developing in trading methods, as each day I trade new methods and strategies will emerge step by step in the learning process and I always finding a new style and type that is suitable for me to do in trading, for me learning there is no time limit, trading knowledge will come no matter how often we trade.

In my opinion, time is uncertain because people's capacity and learning will be different so there are some things that can be done quickly or vice versa, but what is certain is that if the person is willing to learn then I am sure they will be able to trade well and correctly, and this must be underlined. is that profit and loss are normal and normal things that happen, no matter how good a person is at trading, they will definitely experience these two things.

why is that? luck will come even if only once in life and even then it can come in various kinds of things. It is not an easy thing to understand trading, not just anyone can do it because in trading of course there will be its own risks, if we do it without clear knowledge, of course it will not bring profit but will only bring its own risks, after all, even those who already understand or are good at trading, in my opinion, can still be wrong in predicting, because it is also impossible to only use that strategy.

Of course, there is a lot to understand and learn about trading, right with what you said, only people who have the desire to learn with strong determination to plunge into trading because there are many things that must be learned correctly so as not to predict incorrectly and also so as not to bring losses to ourselves, by learning all the things related to trading at least we will understand to predict in order to be profitable in the future.

How long it takes to learn trading depends on how who is teaching you.
Are you paying to be taught or are you going to be self-taught?

You are likely to learn faster if you have a trading coach. The time you would have spent researching a question and finding the answer to some trading problem would have been answered by your trading coach within minutes.

Another factor to learning trading is are you learning full time or part-time. By full time, you are giving all your attention to learning it by part-time you have other jobs and you learn at your pace. Those who learn trading full time will start applying the principles of trading faster than those who are learning trading part-time.
