This is basically why no one should keep their record when gambling as most of us know that losing are much common than winning as it can tends to chasing loses than just gambling. If you are playing a game in which your luck is the only thing that matters then I do not think it is important to keep records at all, so as long as you keep track of the amount of money you have spent that is fine, but this has nothing to do with gambling and should just be part of your regular activities when making a budget, however if you are playing a game of skill then it is important to keep track of your wins and losses, because this is the only way you can evaluate your performance and make adjustments based on it.

So I don't think that we need to keep track of all our wins and losses separately. Also since we play many games, it is not possible to keep a trace of each game and write it down as we win or lose it.

It could make us frustrated when we see the note. With a clear difference between the wins and losses we get, we can become sad and there may be a desire to try to recover the losses.

Yes, what you are doing is correct, there is no need to record it, because recording all the history of the money that has been spent on gambling will not help anything and make everything look worse, that's why it is better to gamble using money that is ready to be lost, not gambling using money that is used for living necessities so felt very regretful about it later after experiencing defeat and losing money, OP said it looked much worse because he didn't record it even though it wasn't at all.

Yes, its true on which it would really be that according in someones preference on which there would really be those people who do really likes on tracking up everything even if we do say that gambling is really just that for leisure and spending up on the money which you had put or deposited isnt something that needs to be tracked since its really just that your extra but there are ones who are really that mindful about tracing it up and sees whether they are already that spending that much money or not with gambling. Depending on where you are gambling its good to keep records for tax purposes.  In terms of tracking for the sake of seeing your wins and losses it's also a good practice to see where you are losing all your money.  There might be a sport you continually lose or win but don't realize it because you don't track.  If you don't gamble all that much it might not be worth it.
