By exploring this case, I found one thing, theymos or Cyrus only changed the display name for Ratimov and we can search with Ratimov as a key word at forum's member search and find Symmetrick. In this case, admin did not change both username and display name for the user. This means the change here is for appearance only, not for privacy reason.

A short while ago I tagged his account with a neutral trust and noticed you have done it too. Quite clearly, he is a troll and I think it is obvious this is not his only account. Then he posted again this post, but slightly changed.

As a plus, he also tends to make same typing / grammar mistakes made by BSV as well. Let's not forget also the constant use of emotes, also just like BSV.

Just keep observing all these. If you reply to him, you may notice afterwards that the post you replied to does not exist anymore. And that just within minutes. Then he makes the same post again, with some midifications.

There has certainly been a change in his approach to giving sMerit. He spent 200 merits in just 32 seconds, on some very old (iconic) posts, and accounts that have not been active in any discussion for a long time. You can't blame him, it's satoshi, laszlo, etc... but I'm still under the impression that this is not what is expected from a merit source.

He also reminds me of someone, but since I ignore most trolls, I didn't manage to recognize who it was. Just another account to ignore. I'm even surprised that so many more experienced members enter into a discussion with him.

Ah alright I see now. Thanks for the heads up! It does correlate with some of the clown stuff i’ve been seeing go around on the forums of people using alts I thought it was not allowed at first too but it seems like you’re allowed to use other accounts as long as you aren’t evading or breaking the rules on them. Not sure how these trolls still exist I suppose they’re using some loophole where they’re just annoying but not rule breaking enough to get banned.

- he starts a mass purge of his old posts and topics, possibly some with plagiarism evidence, involving also in his actions the 2 Russian mods which he fools into becoming his garbage men, until theymos puts a stop to this (it was too late anyway)
- he deletes all his left feedbacks, retracts all his support for flags and wipes his Trust list
- stops posting in international sections and resumes only to Russian local board
- stops earning merits with lightning speed; stops sending merits with lightning speed (if you check his merit activity you can see that lately he sent some merits at intervals of ~one week)
- changes his name
- changes his email and password.

What do all these seem like?

If you remember, Ratimov wrote without spaces, putting commas immediately after the word (everything is in history). It's conspicuous and awkward to read. Not long after this, his account changed hands, that is my speculation.

The new owner of the account knows everything. But he could not say anything but insults. As already written earlier, he is more stupid than Ratimov. Ratimov also insulted, but wrote something in the case.

After translating the page, I saw a member named Bitcoin Newspaper, to realize it was translated name for GB, lol I wanted to post about it and say he changed username.
On the topic, if you guys are suspecting the other account to be his alt, then take a look at what he is saying, I believe he is concerned for his privacy, continuing to talk about this matter could cause more in real life trouble. But you guys don't care about any of that, you just want to see him crushed no matter the cost.

And if he is really worried about his privacy, he should consult with admin and convey his concerns to him.
I still believe he can recover from this, he just needs to ignore trolls completely, and do the right thing. What is the right thing btw? Oh yeah, continue to discuss what interests you.
