You have to choose, either you bet without pressure but you'll end up unsatisfied. My experience is the other way round. There was when I was so uninterested about watching football due to many engagements that I have. If I do not place bet on that particular match, I will not find interest watching it. I agree with you, it is more fun to watch since there is more thrill to know the risk of winning and losing in the hands of your team that you have bet, cause if you are the one who's playing, for sure you can conclude the possible outcome since you know your strength and weakness.
