I think he should be vacating his belt at 160 lbs, or at least he should be stripped already because of inactivity and then this case. No more favoritism so that other boxers can fight it out as he holds the WBC belt.

I am not sure what's happening on Ryan right now. I thought Haney stops him but I wanted him to win because he is the more exciting fighter. I am glad that he get the win. But now he needs to prove himself clean or he is simply tinted and the fight will change into a no-contest.

@Kemarit, hopefully the garbage WBC will strip him of his belt. How many years Jermall has to hostage the belt? His last defense was 2021 and we are already in the year 2024. Mungia was supposed to be the mandatory of that belt back then but the corrupt WBC did not even call a purse bid to make the fight happen. Maybe Alalshikh can do something to this corrupt sanctioning bodies.

Yeah, it's about time that WBC stripped Charlo of his belt, and maybe relegated the interim champ Carlos Adames as a full pledge champion and then faces the number 1 fighter in their division Meirim Nursultanov. At least make this division alive again although the names of the champion is not household at least for now. If you look at it, only Erislandy Lara is recognizable, but I think he could also be very well out of the door as he is no longer in his prime. He just lucky to have that WBA belt when we have given the chance to fight for it against Thomas LaManna. Too bad though to hear that Charlo has some bruised with the law. I'm not sure what some of the boxers are in the wrong side of the law. They are famous and fame and have money already.

I do agree, he haven't defended that belt for many years and yet the WBC didn't even strip him of the belt. So now is the time for them, so that this division will at least be alive without Charlo being the champion.

Alalshikh is doing great for boxing, and I think he is now the most powerful middleman as he can put up fights very easy and this governing body can't say anything. And with that, maybe he can work out a deal that this 160 lbs division like unification, or have some rated boxers fight it out and then challenge their champions. Chris Eubank Jr. could be the potential bankable star of this weight class if ever he will win at least one of the belt. He is rated number 3 by the WBC.

And then again Ryan is cleared for the banned substance. The sentence about his being suspended for 24 months I guess is just something they will have to void. I'm not sure if it's true actually but that was just what I've read on some news.

Haney should move forward already, it's very obvious that even without this PED or whatnot in Ryan Garcia's system, he can't win that fight as Garcia is too big and that left hook of him is lethal and very fast that Haney although prepared, wasn't able to cover.

And so Ryan is still cashing out from his popularity, now Spence is his target. Gonna be 50/50 as Spence is already damage and damage badly by Crawford and it's hard to make a comeback from that kind of beating unless you fight a so-so fighter as a tune-up fight. But if Spence goes after Ryan, then he could still be mentally damage as Ryan is strong at 147 lbs and I think he can bring that power to that division. Or Shakur Stevenson, although others doesn't like this matchup because Shakur is someone who plays defense and it could be boring and a snoozefest fight for boxing fans. So hopefully, after the Tank Davis fight and he won against Frank Martin, Top Rank will wait and open a discussions with Team Davis so that him and Loma can fight maybe at the end of the year.

It's because that is the logical fight for Loma this point in his career. Admit it or not, although he says that he still wanted to be a unified champion everything boils down to money as what Bob Arum says. I haven't heard of a mid 30s fighter became better. Loma is obviously on the decline although he is still good because he is special. He has enough credentials to enter the Hall of Fame once he retires so there is definitely no need to prove unless he is wanting to gain more money.

If Loma wants money then obviously it is Tank Davis due to its huge fanbase. Navarette lost his bid to become champion at 135 today so he is out of Loma's radar while new WBO champ Berinchyk is another Ukrainian that has no fanbase in the western world. We saw how boring Shakur's last fight and there will be less fans in his next fight. Which is why Shakur is hyping himself now, calling the bigger names.
