Definitely with a bet. The game might be enjoyable the first few times without bets, but after that it just becomes incredibly repetitive and boring. With a bet though? It just enhances the feeling due to that dopamine rush or something that body releases when in tension something something. Plus, if you win, it makes the feeling a 1000x better, maybe more depending on the amount.

As for accommodating to the disappointment, well, it just naturally comes along the more you lose imo. Nothing we can do there but get used to it, if possible really. To not let said disappointment affect anything else should be a part of that accomodation though.

What could be the joy in there you watching yourself losing money through others (a match you bet on). You will definitely be feeling sad and disappointed at the game because the result are going 100 miles far away from what you had expected with your prediction.

The outcome of some matches at the beginning or in the middle  of the game can mess around with your emotions. You probably be watching a match you on a team you predicted in your bet to win the match , and in the first half your team are losing by a 2 goals to nothing. At that moment all you feel is disappointment and unrest watching how you're losing your money at that moment nothing sounds funny again. No big deal here, all depends on once mindset, and sometimes you find it fun watching when you didn't place any bet ,especially when a team you wanted to option for is losing the game, while in some situations when you have place your bet on a particular team and it happens that their performance in that game is bad or are losing the game, it puts your mind on pressure or emotions watching that particular match or in other hands, it is more fun watching the game when the match is actually going in your favour.

Actually, at the beginning of watching the match, we get pleasure and very exciting feeling in watching it and at the same time waiting for the results of the match to determine whether the bet placed wins or loses.
So you may be stressed or feel bad in your heart or mind if you just see defeat.

I am sure many will agree that watching with a bet is more fun but for me personally when I am watching my favorite team playing I love watching without a bet.That for the simple reason that when the bet goes wrong we tend to get mad and we lose the real enjoyment of watching our team playing.Yesterday I was watching a team I love to watch without betting as they did not win and I would be mad double the amount,one for not winning and one for not winning the bet.

You wont really be having those kind of feelings or emotions if you wont really be making out some bets without money and this is something that wont really be that interesting for those people who are really that into betting because having no money involved wont really be considered out to be betting since you arent really that making use of money and there's no risks involved
and theres no fun with that. The main reason on why people do really make out bets is on that they do really love the thrill when making up some bets and this is something

Because we want to win, even though we treat gambling as a getaway and just want to have fun, we subconsciously want to win a game because it is money that we are going to win, if we want to feel good in gambling we can shake it off and easily move on but if we have winning money in our mind it will take some time to move on.

As a gambler you would really see the difference when watching sports with or without bet. Honestly, I do feel the pressure too because when watching the game, it's not all the time that your team is leading, most of the games especially basketball is a game of run therefore there will be change of leads on scores which could bring some kind of pressuring feeling, so I think we just have to get use to it, and be always smart in not getting out of control when gambling.

If we can't enjoy watching with bets, there's no point of watching, just turn off the TV and come back later after the game.

Gambling is fun to watch but when one bets and wins it is even more fun because his financial status changes. And watching gambling is only seen to change the financial status of others so in this case the enjoyment of watching the games is not much. So it is natural that betting on gambling would be more fun. It will not create any excitement in you when you watch others gambling or visit casino site to play.  But when you bet your money there, the excitement of winning and losing will work in you. Because we want to win, even though we treat gambling as a getaway and just want to have fun, we subconsciously want to win a game because it is money that we are going to win, if we want to feel good in gambling we can shake it off and easily move on but if we have winning money in our mind it will take some time to move on.

You have to be optimistic if you bet/gamble, things like what you said don't only happen to you, I also feel the same thing, I certainly feel disappointed when I see the team you bet on lose, However, in the name of gambling, the problem is that winning and losing has become a factor that is often felt by many gamblers.

Generally, I feel I'm more into the game when the bet is placed but when there's surety of my loss, the interest is decreased dramatically. Specially on longer game formats.
The watching experience also depends on where and with whom you are watching. What sort of game it  is and is your national or local team is participating. When you are in a crowd or a peer group, the excitement are on next level.
Betting is another uncertainty and excitement you can add on already uncertain and exciting matches.

When watching NBA games I like betting on the game because I like the thrills. There's a difference when you just don't care about the result of the game and when you have a bet on the game. I usually bet on the amount of goals in an NBA game so I like them to score more points. If it's a team I like, I can be neutral and just enjoy the game but it has to be a very interesting game.

While in football, if it's there's any team I like that's playing, I can want and enjoy the match without better but uf in neutral in the game I'd prefer to have a bet. We gamble for fun although many people gamble to earn money. We know and believe that gambling is risky and when we go to gamble we think it is fun but when we lose gambling it hurts us a lot. Because no one can accept losing money.  But if we win it gives us a lot of joy it happens to more or less everyone and will happen in future too. For this we should start gambling with a small amount so that even if we lose, it does not panic us. Because if you panic you will lose control of yourself. For me the fun of watching a football match for example is when you don't bet on it because at that time you are free of emotional attachment and you will watch the game without sentiment or attachment and you are able to be free from empathy because of your money on the bet. So I enjoy the game more when I don't stake on it.
