I believe you've hit the nail on the head; gambling is very much appreciated when done within what you can afford and with the proper attitude. Unfortunately, there's nothing bad with experiencing fun through placing a bet, so long as you are able to afford losing the money and do so safely and responsibly. In reality, study have shown that gambling can be good for our psychological well-being if done in control.

It's the best feeling when you are about to watch your favorite sports and you're also putting a bet on them whichever is they are against with. I'm doing this mostly in esports/sports and it's so fun to watch when I know that I have bet on the right time. But if things go south and they're not performing well then it's easy to accept defeat for me and all I have to do is bet better on the next matches or games that I am also going to watch. The attitude is like that, move on when done and don't be too bitter with all of your losses because whether you like it or not, all of us will have that.

Of course, that is the very essence of being a sports fan, you put some money on your team and then watch how the games will unfold. I think you use too much of your money to bet so you are stressed and can't enjoy the game. Of course, I have also bet large amounts when my favorite team plays. And it really kept me from enjoying the game because I really wanted to win that bet. I couldn't enjoy the whole match. And I was really disappointed with myself. Therefore I no longer try to bet beyond my limits. I will only bet with money that I am willing to risk losing. So I can really enjoy the match, and it's even more exciting because you have bets on the match.
