Up to 2,000 on the month now! Who’s still sticking with it? It’s great to have this thread to help hold myself accountable. I’ll admit I hit 100 pretty close to the wire here as there’s only a few minutes left in the day for me. Glad to still be sticking with it. I’m hoping 100K comes sooner than later though. Smiley

I'm a bit torn about how to respond here, OgNasty.  I do find several inconveniences with the pushups, yet I think overall it has been a good change to my daily routine, and don't get me wrong, I have been exercising quite regularly since I was a young adult - but there are still a lot of ways that any of us can end up getting somewhat lazy in our kinds of activities and maybe start to consider that even moderate activity is serving our bodies sufficiently well, which probably is not true.

I am a bit over 1,900 and in the middle of my 18th day which puts me on track to be getting an average of a bit over 108 per day, as long as I finish today with more than 108 pushups.

Tentatively, I am still pondering over some other kinds of body weight exercises that I am going to be able to add to my routine.. but I am kind of thinking that I would prefer to get my pushups to a state in which I am not ongoingly sore and maybe where I am able to get up to 50 push ups in a stretch.. The most that I have been able to do in a stretch, so far, is 40, and even those start to get sloppy when I get over 35.. and so many times I am still around 25 to 35 in each of my sets.. and still sticking to mostly 4 sets per day.

I am pretty sure that I am going to keep doing some of these pushups and other things, even once we hit $100k - that is if we ever do hit $100k.. because not even $100k is guaranteed, so if it takes a long time to reach there surely are going to be guys dropping off.. and on the other side of the proposition would be that each of us has full discretion regarding how long to engage in these kinds of activities, including either dropping them or just drifting away from them... yet for me, so far it seems to be working pretty good.. it's like the advantages seem to outweigh the disadvantages, including that I had not really realized how high my body fat seems to be in my upper body.. so hopefully the pushups are going to help and continue to help to cause me more pleasures in looking in the mirror (which we might also infer that others will also experience those kinds of improved pleasures in terms of their looking at me.. including going to the beach and removing one's shirt.. which I like to do, but surely there are secondary effects).

Hey @OgNasty. I will accept your challenge and I will send my abs picture if 100K reach as proof that I completed your challenge in daily basis. I’m currently have medium body frame with a little bit of dad bud tummy.

Before and after would be good... even though I may well gather such evidence for myself, I am pretty much disinclined to share that kind of information... absent some change in my perspective.. maybe I fall down and hit my head.. and wham!!!!!  perspective changed.  hahahahaha

I hope Bitcoin will reach 100K this year or else I might have a body of Liam Hemsworth as Thor! Aside from push up. I will add weekly purchase of Bitcoin with an amount of 100$ per week to increase my holdings.

This way I can be more rich and perfect bud when Bitcoin reach 100K.  Cool

This part sounds good, especially for anyone who either is a low coiner, no coiner or maybe some kind of modest coin stash.  I doubt I am going to do such a thing, since I perceive myself to already have way more coins than I need, and I don't have the same point of view as someone like Michael Saylor.. so to each their own.

Oh and by the way, if someone is already fairly financially rich in several ways (which Saylor likely fits that category), then might consider some kind of need or purpose in continuing to accumulate more BTC, even if they might not really need such coins in order to really be happy.. such as normies.... and if we might go with default fuck you status to be something like $2 million in the west, and if someone has 3-5x more than that (even measuring by the 200-WMA - which would be 190 to 320 BTC, then it does not seem that those guys should necessarily conclude that they need more BTC.. . yet, yeah, to each their own.

1) Self-Custody is a right.  There is no such thing as "non-custodial" or "un-hosted."  2) ESG, KYC & AML are attack-vectors on Bitcoin to be avoided or minimized.  3) How much alt (shit)coin diversification is necessary? if you are into Bitcoin, then 0%......if you cannot control your gambling, then perhaps limit your alt(shit)coin exposure to less than 10% of your bitcoin size...Put BTC here: bc1q49wt0ddnj07wzzp6z7affw9ven7fztyhevqu9k

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Yeah we all hoping for bitcoin to hit $100k and above, well it would though but we don't actually know when, but those with low coiner like myself (haven't close to my accumulating goal yet) would try and take this as opportunity to accumulate stack more bitcoin in our portfolio. And I really hope before the next bull run I may have accumulated good quantities of bitcoin. So that I could also be among the testifies.

For my pushups, I've taken some break. Lately am feeling some pains in ma chest, upper back, shoulders and my abs, and at same time seeing some lit improvement in my body and it has motivated me to continue but I'm just on a suspense till I undergo some  relief then I would resume my daily routin. And haven't gotten close to 1k pushups Cry

30-40 knuckle push ups a day with having a +5 increase increment day by day until i would hit up that 100 push ups per day. You cant be able to do it in one go.
I have tested out and i did have a muscle spasms that did last for 2-3 days on which it did result on having a break but as expected with that muscle improvement then i could
be able to handle it out but now i've been not rushing myself on reaching 100. We arent still on $100k though and there would really be that still time which i do assume
that this price might be able to hit up this year after halving i do anticipate. Posting some pictures of progress later on....

Pushin' it up here boss!  What next, 200 daily until 200K?

We'll have to see about that when we get there. Smiley

Personally, I would love to have a day or two off to let my body recover, but that is what makes this a challenge.  It is definitely getting easier though.  I've worked some core exercises into the routine so that my abs won't be left out, but I'd like to step up some leg workouts as well.  My typical bike riding is good and all, but I'm thinking up a challenge for myself to help get me back to running a respectable mile time.

And I really hope before the next bull run I may have accumulated good quantities of bitcoin. So that I could also be among the testifies.

Of course, the longer that you are in bitcoin, the more stories that you might have in regards to the challenges of your BTC accumulation journey, yet no need to worry, because if you have already started accumulating bitcoin your ability to testify has already started, and to the extent that you believe that your story is helpful (even including some of your own initial considerations and planning that you may now be putting into practice and learning along the way), these are all stories that are helpful, and surely the longer that you are in the space, the more you might be able to help those newbies who are going to continue to come into the space.

In terms of bitcoin as an asset class, we are still early (even though sometimes it might not feel that way), and surely there are going to be people who are coming into the bitcoin space 4-10 years down the road, and you will have had had a headstart in your BTC accumulation journey on them, and hopefully you do not end up screwing up too much.. since even many of us longer-term bitcoiners also have our various stories of screwing up in various ways, and sometimes we screw up in BIGGER ways than others, and sometimes, we realize that our mistakes might have had caused us to learn some lessons, but our mistakes did not take us out of the race (since we still hold some of our bitcoin)...so it is good to stay in the race and/or to keep accumulating and/or holding and/or maintaining bitcoin until you are able to reach some of your BTC accumulation targets that are reasonable for your own circumstances.

You can also do the modified push ups (that are supposed to be easier)... like the ones that were in the earlier picture that I had posted.. and sure instead of doing 100 per day.. maybe just do 20 or some other number that does not cause as much pain.. because your body has to get used to it.. and you should be able to pace yourself so that you don't overdo it, but you continue to make progress... There surely were some times that I did not want to do my pushups, and there were some times that maybe I would have still been o.k .to do ONLY 10 pushups.. instead of doing 15 or 20.. .. yet, sure in the end, you are likely going to need to figure out if you might want to substitute some other exercise while you are recovering and/or building up your body.

Getting injured would be a worse outcome, and sometimes people do end up getting injured from their exercises, and that frequently will be a sign that they over did it.. and sure accidents happen, but if you have an accident (or an injury), then you might end up in a worse place than if you had not even started... so each of us should keep in mind pacing ourselves and not giving into outside standards but instead tailoring our exercise to our own situations.

Lol would love to see you say this when we do clock 500K
Been almost  consistent with the exercise though but work and stuffs made it that I can only hit 60's around Sat and Sun and the others well according to my strength but more than 40 though.
Don't wanna jinx the price going lower than that because I was too lazy.

Well if it does though I would just rant and still buy some.
Respect on your determination to the challenge OP.My heart has such but my mind and  body isn't willing.

I Must confess the 100 push up is not really an easy task. When I started I expirenced alot of pain in most part of my body including arm, wrist and elbow but as i keep on doing it, I feel no much pain. Compeard to my first time, but there is alot of improvement. And this inspiration of 100 pushup is a kind of motivation to keep the body fit and to also learn to be patient in what ever you do, put together with relentlessly/focus and never give up. That is also a kind of reminder that when ever you start anything in life especially in Bitcoin HODL, at first usually use to be defficult to the extent you want to call it a quit but after several attempts you will feel much better than the initial entry time. Let the 100 push up be a motivation for us all to also be persistent in Bitcoin HODL an never get tired.

That is the point I  thought am the only one in this,  it has not been easy hiting 100 on a day, I think going for a short break will definitely help regaining some energy. I have a testimony, just as it said that exercise contributes 10% of healthy living, I usually have this sensational movements at my back for quite some time now but on taken up this challenge am now very much active not only that my clothes are even  more befitting. Thou am new to the environment(Bitcoin) but already counting down for my purchasing date, because I have gotten basic knowledge that will accompany my investment journey all thanks @JayjuanGee self moderated thread buy the dip and hodl  where am spending most of my time as newbie, which am also recommending other newbies considering having Bitcoin in their portfolio. this will enable me  not to only benefit from this challenge but to be a Bitcoiner as Bitcoin hit $100k or even more, I can't just watch it happen but to be a beneficiary part of it.

I think it's quite an exciting challenge because I think I can do it, because since am a sport person and  a Bitcoin investor, 50 push ups have been part of my daily routine after  walking out, but taking it to 100 in my first try will be somehow challenging but possibly, because in life the most difficult stage is the starting point, so believe that after the first try, it will gradually get used to me if I keeps on doing it.

But what would have been really exciting and ideal, but really difficult for me is by doing my push ups according to the current price of Bitcoin everyday till it gets up to 100.

Come on man, you can totally do it.
Just split it up to 10x10 and you will have no problem. That's 10x 30 seconds of your day, I am sure you can handle that.
It's only bad for the first couple of days, then you can do it in your sleep, trust me.

If we all believe in ourselves we can totally do this. And if we keep believing in btc it will also outperformance our push-up goal and moving ur to higher highs.

I saw this on the internet just in case there was any doubt about what we’re doing. I think satoshi wanted us to do push-ups. I’ll leave you to decide the authenticity of the email yourself, but I think it’s just as genuine as any of the evidence presented in the CSW vs COPA lawsuit.

All right!, I owe less than last time...D'oh!  I was looking at the wrong number.  Not too bad though,  91.25 per day.  Smiley

today
Pushups Printed:    1400
Proof of Pushups:   885
Net Pushups:        -515

All right, no more messing around from me.  I've done the prep.  105, per day, minimum.  Time to pay down that debt.  Without interest of course. Wink

My body have successfully adapted to the exercise and the pain has reduced, just that my hands laps are heavier now and less flexible as they used to be. It was not really easy when I started, the pain even lasted longer than I expected but it is all good. I have not been able to hit the 100 target at a stretch before I become tired. I have been doing 40-40-20 for now and I do not intend to change this as I am getting the right result and my body accepting same.

If 100 push ups per day would take bitcoin to 100k then I'm so in, I'm not really that workout person but I think I have the energy, I normally have routine of sqauts and morning running to start up my day and build my hips, I always aspired for that perfect body but really lacked the inspiration to follow it, I think this routine would open a door to a whole new adventure of home workout, I'll preferably stay at home for this, bit i I become lazy about it, I'll hit the gym, that extra motivation could give me a boost. I'm not expecting to do all 100 at once but, buy I'll try to do it a little progressively,

50 push ups every day
10 laps each lap untill I get it.

It's very quite good that at least you are giving it a try because it's not that easy, 40-40-20 is quite ok for a start since you were not into it, with time when your body will  gets used to it,  it will be much easier for you.

When I started yesterday, due to the fact that I have been into sport for sometime now, it wasn't that difficult for me, because i usually do 50 pushups daily after workout, but doing 100 pushups at once was my first, and it was extremely difficult for me yesterday, though am still feeling some pains in my shoulder, but i know that if i can be able to maintain it, I will eventually get used to it.

This is really a good challenge. I never knew something like this was going on in this forum till I stumbled upon it. I think this is going to be beneficial to all bitcoiners, as not just only your portfolio will increase, your health condition will also increase. Imagine what 100 push up will do to your body. Besides I read something on the internet that 40 push up a day reduces the risk of heat disease. I will like everyone who is here to fully engage in this exercise, as you won't regret doing so. Will waiting for the new ATH which is inevitable let's use the period and boost our health status.

100 push up is a great ideas because Being physically active can improve your brain health, help manage weight, reduce the risk of disease, strengthen bones and muscles, and steady exercise can help reduce your cardiovascular challenges and which deals in reducing of HBp and this regular push up can help in our daily life’s to live a healthy lifestyle and keep our body active. As we wait for the ATH of Bitcoin of hitting 100k,we should try to do exercise daily and work out in our limit to avoid other challenges who does who can’t do 100 push up.

I love this challenge because, for a while, I stopped going to the gym to build my body. I used to do push-ups to balance my body, but I'm not consistent with doing push-ups. Since I'm now aware that the 100 push-ups a day until bitcoin is $100k challenge is ongoing, it will motivate me to be consistent with my push-ups and also maintain 100 push-ups a day to cover up for the 100 push-ups a day until bitcoin is $100k challenge. Exercise is good for our bodies, so I advise everyone who has the strength to take an active part in this challenge because you will not only grow big muscles and a thick body and increase your strength, but you will also have good health. You can divide the 100 push-ups into sets, such as 5 sets of 20 reps or 10 sets of 10 reps depending on your strength.

can i make it at least 40 push ups? so that can be realistic in my part because 100 is too many for me to take  Grin

But will definitely starts tomorrow morning as have just cross this thread now , How a interesting journey to see this coming if in next year then i will surely be fit before 100k reached .
Seems to be the consensus here that doing what you can, wisely within your limits is better than doing nothing.  Welcome aboard!
Thanks Man , have started that morning and did my best so I finished with that 40 , tried adding at least 2-3 per day as that's all I can do but tryng.

Quote
Progress update:  Total pushups in 12 days: 735 for a debt of 465.   My last post was before doing any pushups due that day, this one is after.  I did do 100 a few days ago, and managed a set of 20 quality reps today.  Keep up that form people!

wow thats even better means you are making more that means you are more than 60 push ups a day.

Progress Update :  for 6 days of trying have a total of at least 275 because there are time that have a little motivation and finishing only 35 PU. but will do my very best of course to attain that 100 before we finally break 100k price .

Will Not check my Weight till i make at least 70 per day , Have started at 88 .7 kilograms hope Will see me at 80 till this thread ends in 100k bitcoin price .

It's a great challenge which will be stimulating for those who are aware. I have accepted your challenge. I know I may not be able to complete it but I am very much motivated and optimistic. I will try as best as I can. Even if I can't do 100 push ups in a day, I can definitely make some progress there. In this concern my confidence and stamina will play a big role. I can go forward until get to 100k bitcoin. I can't give 100 push ups a day but I can add 1 more with everyday routine with this way i will keep increasing my push ups. Today i tried where i complete only 22.
