Shouldn't your 4 be a 6?  You have finished 6 days of pushups, not 4. Right?

1) Self-Custody is a right.  There is no such thing as "non-custodial" or "un-hosted."  2) ESG, KYC & AML are attack-vectors on Bitcoin to be avoided or minimized.  3) How much alt (shit)coin diversification is necessary? if you are into Bitcoin, then 0%......if you cannot control your gambling, then perhaps limit your alt(shit)coin exposure to less than 10% of your bitcoin size...Put BTC here: bc1q49wt0ddnj07wzzp6z7affw9ven7fztyhevqu9k

Your days of push-up is meant to be 6 and not 4 because you have been doing push-up for 6 days now I believe is a misprint is a common mistake most users do here I know no body is above mistake but when next you post try to cheek very well before you do your post .

For the past 2 weeks now I have been going to the gym center to do my push-ups and the gym instructor identified two errors in doing push-ups which I will love to share with everyone in this challenge.

1. Hands too far forward:
When your hands are too far forward it causes unwanted stress on other muscles and joints so make sure your hands are directly under your shoulders when starting and finishing your push-up

2. Hips too low:
Is very important to keep your hips level with your shoulders throughout the push-ups. If we don't we will produce extension in our lower back and not using our abdominals to stabilize our body.

If you do push-ups wrongly you can still exercise. However, you could be putting yourself at risk for injury.
So please do you pushups in the right way to avoid risk for injury.

I've been seeing this thread and I think that this is the first time that I'm opening it and reading through the comments, I think that it's interesting combining physical well-being through 100 push-up exercise, in anticipation and speculation until Bitcoin price reaches $100k.

I just finished one set of pushups now before taking a few minutes rest before typing now, shamefully I couldn't go more than 12 and crashed down on number 13, I've really gained weight. Thanks for this challenge, I think that I need to take it more seriously, I don't remember the last time that I exercised, hopefully before price reaches $100k, I'd have improved and slimed a little.

I made a video to see how many minutes it would take me to cover my push-ups in a set. I did 40+ push-ups in my first set in one minute and two seconds, and in my second set, I did 27 in one minute. The reason why I did 27 push-ups in my second set is that I was a bit slow in the second set, and it requires a lot of strength to do a quantity of push-ups when you are slow. Maybe it is the angle, but your arms look pretty long.  And yeah those are full pushups which seem to be proper form in terms of straightness of your body, and you may even be pausing a little bit at the top and at the bottom, including that you are getting to something close to a locked arm position at the top, and my own pushups don't quite get to the locked arm position at the top, which seems like it is a bit harder than the version that I am doing, which is slightly less than locked arm position at the top. 

Maybe later I might want to try to do that locked arm position at the top.. yet if I tried to do that now, then I would have to go below 40 pushups per set.... maybe even 20-25 would wear me out in the way that I see that you are doing them... so anyhow for me, I think that I want to stick with my current 40 pushups per set for a while longer (since I ONLY got to this place in the las few days).. maybe I will stick with 40 per set for 2-3 weeks or so longer before I change around what I am currently trying to focus on, which is trying to get my 40 pushups to take me between 60 and 80 seconds to accomplish them.. which I am already having trouble with this.. at least so far ranging between 45 seconds and 57 seconds..and largely I am starting to feel failure around 30, so I have to speed up to get the last 10 in proper form before I totally fail.. that's how it is with this here cat.
I agree with you that the version of push-up I am doing is a bit harder because after I lock myself either up or down, I  will need good strength that will allow me to press upward and downward for a long time. Why I love that version of push-up is that even though I do 20 push-ups in a set, I will feel the pain in my body. You are right; if you do that version of the push-up now, you may not keep up with the 40 push-ups in a set that you are doing now. Your bones will get weak easily because it is not used to your body. Since you want to stick with the version of push-up you are doing now, I would like you to try my version of push-up after you are satisfied to do 40 push-ups in a set so that you will see how good it is.

Do not be ashamed because you did 12 push-ups in a set, you are better than people who are not exercising their bodies, even though you are consistent with doing 12 push-ups a day it will help your body in the long run. We didn't wake up one morning to do 20, 30, 40, 50, 65, 85, and 89 push-ups in a set; we put our time and effort into this push-up challenge before we were able to do all those numbers of push-ups in a set. I believe if you are serious about this push-up challenge, as you said, you will improve your push-up. Since you are struggling to do 13 push-ups in a set, I will advise you to maintain 10 push-ups in a set for one month to help you gain the stamina that would help you break your limit from time to time. You also need to do a minimum of 10 push-ups a day for your name and push-up details to be entered in the push-up table by Dirtykeyboard.

The things you explain about this are absolutely true, bro. Because I'm sure many people do push ups with the mistakes you mentioned. Because of my personal experience, the first time I did push ups, I also made that mistake. And I can explain why, many people make this mistake when doing push ups.

First, why do people do push ups with their arms too far forward?

This is because people who are doing push ups for the first time or have only been doing push ups for a few days feel heavier pressure when doing push ups in the correct way (hands parallel to shoulders). Therefore, without them realizing it, their hands were shifted forward to reduce the feeling of heaviness. And this is not quite right, because of course the muscles affected by push ups are not the chest muscles, but the triceps or shoulder muscles.

And the second problem, why do some people do push ups with their hips too low or not in line with their shoulders?

This is caused by abdominal muscles that are not yet strong but doing push ups with repetitions that are beyond their ability (too many). That's why when the abdominal muscles are no longer strong, the hips will definitely drop. Therefore, the first time you do push ups, it is best to do it gradually and not do it immediately in large portions. Because of course the push up movement will definitely not be right. So when doing push ups, it's best not to chase a lot of repetitions, but just a few, but with the right movements (especially for those who are beginners).

I've been seeing this thread and I think that this is the first time that I'm opening it and reading through the comments, I think that it's interesting combining physical well-being through 100 push-up exercise, in anticipation and speculation until Bitcoin price reaches $100k.

I just finished one set of pushups now before taking a few minutes rest before typing now, shamefully I couldn't go more than 12 and crashed down on number 13, I've really gained weight. Thanks for this challenge, I think that I need to take it more seriously, I don't remember the last time that I exercised, hopefully before price reaches $100k, I'd have improved and slimed a little.
Just like mayor of ogba have said you don't have to be ashamed that you did 12 and crash down in 13 to me your have done 13 numbers of push-up because that last one that made crash down is where you really gain your benefit that one really entered your body, I believe have done above the minimum number of push-up required here which is 10, you should be happy you participated and did 13 in a stretch in your first time, that was how somany Pushers here started before gaining more strength, fitness and stamina to be pushing above 13, this exercise will really help you health wise what you need to do is to be consistent in this challenge.

And secondly at the end of your push-up activity you have to report your activity using the format below so that DirtyKeyboard can be able to include you in the table.

Since you have done your push-up for up to six days, the number of days in your push-up report should be the last day you did your push-up workout, which should be six days and not four days. Anytime you are reporting your push-up details, always review your report and also read the push-up reporting format to know the day you are to add in your push-up report.

Do you check your BMI regularly  ?? If not: you should start doing that to know your current state of Body Mass Index(BMI).
All you need is your Height and  Your weight

I agree with you that the version of push-up I am doing is a bit harder because after I lock myself either up or down, I  will need good strength that will allow me to press upward and downward for a long time. Why I love that version of push-up is that even though I do 20 push-ups in a set, I will feel the pain in my body. You are right; if you do that version of the push-up now, you may not keep up with the 40 push-ups in a set that you are doing now. Your bones will get weak easily because it is not used to your body. Since you want to stick with the version of push-up you are doing now, I would like you to try my version of push-up after you are satisfied to do 40 push-ups in a set so that you will see how good it is.

I am likely going to mix it up a bit, yet at the same time, I am going to work towards doing more full pushups and pausing at the top and the bottom.. and yeah, when you pause at the bottom you are still a little bit above the ground so that you are not touching anything, so that seems to be pretty good form, even though surely there are some examples of guys pausing for longer periods (or maybe their chest is very lightly touching the ground), and I am not sure if I want to do that... but yeah, I am getting to a point in which I don't mind creating some variance in my pushups... yet I am still having a lot of trouble doing a whole set of pushups that are 1.5 seconds per pushup.... .. but yeah, maybe i will get there at some point. 

Each of us does need to attempt to work within his own limitations and perhaps even some of our own goals.. which there could be a point where I no longer want to average 200 pushups per day and maybe I will be o.k. with doing fewer -- but I kind of like having it right now since it seems to be mostly workable in terms of my own schedule.. including that if I might have some days that I fall behind (like I might do fewer sets on some days), it would not be too difficult for me to get back up to a 200 pushups per day average, since my body is seeming pretty well used to it, including that once in a while I am able to do sets with 50-60 pushups and it is not that difficult for me, even though they are not pausing at the tops and bottoms but instead mostly continuously moving.

Maybe start out with 3 sets of 10-12 pushups per day for the first week or two, and then that would get you 30-36 pushups per day.  Perhaps wait 3-5 hours between each set, and you are still likely going to get sore, but if you keep some variation of this up for 1-2 weeks, it will start to get easier for you and then you can either add more pushups per set and/or add more sets, and maybe I would not do any more than 5 sets in a day, yet of course, you can figure out what works for you because some guys like to do more sets with fewer pushups per set, and others like to do more pushups per set and fewer sets, but you likely are not really ready for large number of pushups in each set.

I am getting close to my 100th day of pushups (tomorrow), and I am still sore, but surely not as sore as I was in the first several weeks, and I think that I still try to push myself to limits yet my soreness and overall tiredness from the increased activity (exercising) is not as lingering as it was in the beginning.

You can surely keep track of your pushups on paper or computer, and you can also write down your pushup report in this thread if you want to be included in the table.  It would be nice to have you added to our group of pushers.

My report.
Since I am a beginner, I will start with 2 sets of 5-6 push-ups a day.

On the face of it.. I would call that pretty whimpy.

a good starting point would be 3 sets of 8-12 pushups per set... but hey whatever... do what you like or are able to do, and if you cannot do 8-12 full pushups in a set, there probably would be some way to do modified pushups so that you can get in some repetitions...

so there is something valuable that comes from a certain quantity of something like pushups (meaning repetitions)... versus low reps (and supposedly high weight).. but hey maybe ONLY you know the details regarding why you believe 2 sets of 5-6 pushups is actually something to be taken seriously by the rest of us in terms of why you think that is a good place for a "beginner" to start.

Also, by the way, a report is how many pushups that you actually did, and there is a format for that, so that your results get into the table, in the event that you would like your results to get into the table.. so once you actually do them, then put them in a proper report format.. and hopefully they are not averaging below 10 pushups per day or otherwise skewing the rest of us downardly based on something that might border on an appearance (at least from my perspective) of not being serious.
