Fine! since the thread is for pushups only I guess I will just have to stick to the pushups
Tried it this morning,it was so hard that I had to stop  on 11, I thought it will be so easy since i do some early morning  jogging,although I did it after I came back

This should count too, correct me if I'm  wrong in my report

That we are talking about push-up exercise here doesn't really mean we will stick only on push-up exercise, you can add other exercises to gain full body balance and also puting the entire body part into good function.

Like my self I do involve my self into doing other exercises like lunges exercise squats, sometimes I do go to the pool to swim and so on but when giving your report here you will only give the the numbers of push-up you have done that is your push-up activities.

Concerning your report it should count.

Of course you can also exercise on different areas because what is more important is to keep fit and besides there are so many types of push up and each one has different style and method in overall it all boils down to push up, so perhaps sometimes base on how stress out or tired you can be you can possibly utilize any other kind of push up that would be more easy for you at that moment without exhausting you too much easier because whenever I don't have too much strength to continue my normal push up I use to make use of the reverse push up and the wall push up because it doesn't require too much strength to do it.

Those that know that this challenge is not joking always take it serious the advantage you have is that you participating in this challenge will give you courage and more motivation to take it serious even when your investing in Bitcoin with any strategy that serves best you adopted to accumulate, the way you take this challenge serious to engage on daily basis can serve same purpose of encouraging you to keep buying and holding your Bitcoin.

Though it happens that I was not able to make provision of the Link I were someone was talking about what will come out of Bitcoin I believe the person has accumulated enough why his major target is the up coming bull run to take some profit as he has hold for long time. Bitcoin will hit $100k that is my reason why I have courage not given up to this challenge this time.

There's a mistake in your yesterday's and today's total number of push-ups. Your yesterday's and today's total push-ups are supposed to be 150 push-ups and not 250 push-ups. With the 250 push-ups you wrote as yesterday's and today's total push-ups, it doesn't respond to the total number of push-ups you did in 10 days, and it will stop DirtyKeyboard from picking up your push-up report. Please edit your post and put 150 push-ups as your yesterday's and today's total number of push-ups, so that it will correspond to the 750 push-ups you did in 10 days.

Yeah.. Uhwuchukwu53.. seems to be confused, and I suppose that there is a certain self-responsibility that each of us has to figure out how to submit correct pushup reports, and if there are errors in the report (yet the report is still properly formatted), then DirtyKeyboard might not notice the error, since his script will pick up the pushup report and reported as is.. so how will he know (or need to figure out) if the total number of pushups should be 150, 250, 750 or some other quantity of pushups.... so in that regard, if members want accurate numbers in the pushup table, then they are responsible for putting the correct numbers in their submitted pushup reports.

If you had not noticed, pushups and situps are not the same thing... and what is close enough to pushups or what could you count as pushups might well be a subject of debate - even though I would suggest that you should be doing something that is similar to pushups if you want to count them as pushups... and from my point of view situps are not very close to pushups.

Yet, at the same time, you can report whatever you like - even though I expect that the presumption is that if you submit a pushup report, you are stating that you did pushups, and if you did something else, then guys here may well not want your representations to be counted in the pushup's table, especially since members in the table are claiming to be doing some variation of pushups..

Not during my stair work out  just reading my fucking cell phone as I walked down the stairs.

I was just thinking about this today, and maybe I think about it whenever I am going up and down stairs (especially down), because one misstep and any of us could be fucked in major and/or in minor ways..

Today, I was at a department store, and there were very wide stairs (maybe more than 8 feet wide, but there was a rail on only one side.. which was a bit weird. I had not even noticed while I was going up, yet when I was coming back down (after shopping for some stuff), I realized that there was ONLY a rail on one side, so I personally gravitated over to the side with the rail, even though it might not have had been a big deal to just go down the stairs without using the rail.. but I am kind of a creature of habit, even in my house I almost always make sure that i am close to being able to hold onto the rail, especially on the way down.


Both times I fell on stairs in the last 30 years were due to me not holding the railing and not focusing on the task.

In 2019 I sprained my ankle so bad I had to wear a boot for 3 weeks.

This is far less of an injury. Still it Is annoying.

So I did that Sunday night. I got blood work today and my

 A1C is 5.8 down from 6.8 in feb                       goal is stay under 6.0 I am there!
my bad cholesterol went from 115 to 81           goal is stay under 70   I am closer!
my good cholesterol went from  30 to 37           goal is get   over 40   I am closer!

weight as measured with clothes on medical scale is 200 down from 215  goal is 180

actual weight is 193 without shoes just in shorts.

All of the above was done with exercise and diet. this thread has been a large part of it.

I will continue to rest my foot till Saturday when I will do some steps.

I think committing to only 100 a day makes it a lot more flexible schedule wise.  With some experience it shouldn't take more than 9 minutes with doing 10 pushups a minute starting with minute 0.  I'm working to get it down to 4 minutes with 20 pushup sets.  Tonight was 20, 20, 10x6 sets.  Lots of ways to pushup.  Smiley
Okay, I just had to do 12 more.   Grin

I think it is a good idea for some of the guys to get into describing some of the particular ways that they are doing pushups and also the various ways that they might be adapting their pushups over time in order to either experiment or to attempt to focus on some kind of particular need that they want to address.

In my own case, I am not too inclined to attempting to ONLY do (or average) 100 pushups per day, especially since my earliest objective in regards to my participation in this pushup challenge, was to attempt to average more than 100 pushups per day in order that I might be able to have and maintain a pushup cushion, so I had always wanted to get above an average of 100 pushups per day and to stay mostly stay there if possible.. while at the same time realizing that if I have my average pushups per day above 100 pushups per day, then at that point, I would be able to have some slack (slouch) days and still be able to maintain my average above 100 pushups per day.

At the same time, I ended up giving myself a goal of ongoingly pushing up my average pushups per day until I got to 200 pushups per day on average, while at the same time starting to feel that I had both gone overboard and/or that I had gone far enough with that desire to continue to increase my average number of pushups per day, so in that regard, my maintaining 200 pushups per day for around 25 days after I had reached an average of 200 pushups per day had motivated me to come back down the ladder and to get my average back down to maybe around 150 pushups per day, or perhaps something in that ballpark area.

Yeah, I am not locked into my own plans, but I like to try to engage in a certain amount of self-discipline in the area of self-creating some goals for myself and then trying to stick with the carrying out of those goals for a period of time until I feel that I have done enough and I might start to speculate about some changes that I might make to the goals that will allow me to stay in the game rather than potentially abandoning the project.. so yeah, here we have the pushup project that still continues to occupy  a decent amount of mental and physical space for several of us who continue to actively participate in such activities.. perhaps daily for some of us, and others may well be participating in some kind of a schedule that is less frequent than daily.

I don't know if DirtyKeyboard's script is going to recognize two digits for your number of days for doing pushups could have had more logically been written as one digit rather than two digits.. so are you trying to play with the script?  Test out the script? or merely test our patience in these here parts with your seemingly illogical representation of your double digit number of pushup day(s)?

Sure A1C and even running fasting glucose levels (below 100-ish) are not bad things to attempt to measure..

Personally, I am not much of an enthusiast for the heart lipid hypothesis, especially when it comes to the ideas of bad cholesterol, so I really question whether it is valuable to bring down supposedly "bad cholesterol" to such levels, including the taking of statins for such.. so yeah, a lot of people are taking statins, which is also a questionable "standards of care" practice.

I am o.k with the idea of bringing good cholesterol above 40 for men.. and surely, I am also interested in trying to keep triglycerides below 100...

1) Self-Custody is a right.  There is no such thing as "non-custodial" or "un-hosted."  2) ESG, KYC & AML are attack-vectors on Bitcoin to be avoided or minimized.  3) How much alt (shit)coin diversification is necessary? if you are into Bitcoin, then 0%......if you cannot control your gambling, then perhaps limit your alt(shit)coin exposure to less than 10% of your bitcoin size...Put BTC here: bc1q49wt0ddnj07wzzp6z7affw9ven7fztyhevqu9k

Maintained my steady 20 push-ups despite having a very busy week, which has kept me away from my mobile phone. It’s been totally worth it for the numerous advantages especially for someone trying to live a better and healthier lifestyle.

However, today after the 3rd set I started to feel some pain on a particular region where I've experienced an injury before , 6 years back I had an injury on my radius-ulna (complete fracture) both bones broken into two  Tongue, it really suck had a POP  for 7months(yeah never gonna forget that Smiley) thought i would never be able to code again Grin. Although, it has been almost  3 years I felt such pain but it normally used to be at this time range for the year.
Doing pretty well in my Pushups having a lot stashed up on my chest and arm.... wish I could convert that to BTC too Cheesy

Don't allow the pain you are feeling now to make you want to quit this push-up challenge. Pain is one of those things that we need to handle so that we can succeed in doing push-ups. Since you got tired when you did 11 push-ups this morning, I will advise you to stick with doing 8 push-ups in a set for 2 weeks. So that it will allow you to build up the stamina that will help you do more than 11 push-ups without finding it hard to do. Also, don't do any exercise before you start your push-up exercise so that you will have full strength to do push-ups without struggling so hard to do it.

Just thought I'd look in the door and see how everyone is going?

My Personal Trainer friend (who is a lefty and can wipe the table with my knuckles in arm wrestles left or right handed) has finally given me some guidance on doing pushups, or rather controlled collapsing onto the floor. I'm *slowly* building up enough strength to lift up which I haven't done for so long. I walk a lot, but it would seem I have absolutely no upper body strength. She's got me starting with knee-push ups and slow lowering.

I've got the motivation, just organizing exercise around everything else is what I'm working on.

Nothing too special about today’s push-ups. Just getting the numbers in to keep the streak alive. It seems like I’m not seeing much in the way of transformation anymore, but I’m sure I’m still strengthening. I just think the easy gains have been had. Still, I’m exploring new complementary exercises to help me continue improving.

However, today after the 3rd set I started to feel some pain on a particular region where I've experienced an injury before , 6 years back I had an injury on my radius-ulna (complete fracture) both bones broken into two  Tongue, it really suck had a POP  for 7months(yeah never gonna forget that Smiley) thought i would never be able to code again Grin. Although, it has been almost  3 years I felt such pain but it normally used to be at this time range for the year.
Doing pretty well in my Pushups having a lot stashed up on my chest and arm.... wish I could convert that to BTC too Cheesy

I commend your efforts op you’re an inspiration to all of us here despite the pains you feel constraining and limiting your efforts, you still wake up every beautiful morning with the hunger and enthusiasm to keep going thanks for sharing your pains with us, I hope by some miracle the pains go away and let you go about your business pain free.

It’s a beautiful day to hit the deck and gets some work done, I just did and I feel incredible as always I hope we all are healthy enough to hit the deck and ride together on the wave of our push-up challenge.

Congratulations, you are participating in the Push Up Challenge. Someone above has given good advice, if you are not used to push ups then don't do too many push ups at first, start with low push ups and try to increase slowly.

Yesterday I managed to complete 200 push ups in a day. I had a new challenge of doing 200 push ups in a day, which I was able to complete. I used to be able to complete 200 push ups a day a few days ago, but fell behind due to illness. Anyway I did 180 push ups on the 10th, 190 push ups on the 11th, completed 200 push ups yesterday. I am very happy to be able to complete 200 push ups in a day.

Got my 300 in today.  I could probably push it to 400 but I don't see a need so I'll maybe try that another time.  Smaller sets would have probably helped me get through it easier.  Still, I feel pretty good that I did 300 today easier than it was to do 100 when I started this competition.  I for sure have never done 300 push-ups in a day before in my life.  Seeing the growth in push-ups of this community is almost as fun as watching the growth of Bitcoin.  I say almost because you guys aren't giving me any money.  Smiley  Push on!

Yeah, my current max is also 300, and I did it on May 7th with 5 sets of 60... and probably before this pushup challenge I had not done more than 100 pushups in a day.. I am not sure, but I cannot remember having any obsession with pushups prior to this challenge.

If I ever try to do 500 in a day, then I probably would do them in something between 12 and 15 sets, and it probably would not be exact sets.. I would just start out with as many I can do in good form, and then just keep doing that around every hour until I reach 500, and so maybe towards the end I might ONLY be able to do less than 30 per set.. but that is o.k... since I will likely start to get really close by the time I get towards the end of the day.. so maybe it is a day to look forward to.. .. so my current thinking is that either 1-5 days after BTC reaches $100k, then I will do as many pushups that I can during the time that I am awake.. presumptively once an hour from the time I get up until I either tell myself that I am done for the day.. or that I reach some number 500 or whatever that I am sufficiently satisfied to be a reasonable amount (for me)... Something to look forward to.

300 pushups in a day sounds very intimidating and at the same time encouraging for an average pusher like me, and you're talking about attempting 500 in a day, that'll be pure awesomeness. I do 10 sets in a day and it's only on the first set that I can do way above 10 pushups, in the subsequent sets, it'll be diminishing, I guess you guys must have been into serious pushups before this 100k challenge, and must have superhero physiques. I guess with seriousness and dedication me and other members who're average pushers can attempt to reach and cross 100 pushups in 10 sets. I'm however glad that I joined this energetic challenge, it has been very rewarding for me.

Today I did 100 Pushups in 3 sets of 35,35,30 in the morning and another 100 Pushups in 3 sets of 45,30,25 for the evening. While i was doing my regular evening Pushups,some of my friends came around to check on me and as a  man I wanted impress them by proving to them that Pushups have made me stronger so I ask one of them to lie on my back that i am going to do 50 pushups carrying him on my back,I tried my best but I couldn't keep up.
