Welcome onboard mate. Good to see this topic/challenge motivated you doing push-ups & embrace healthy habit. But your reporting format is a bit faulty. First you shouldn't include the word "user" & use just your username. Second, you have to add up total push-ups you've done in new report. In your case you did 30 in first day & 50 in second day so in your latest(2nd day) report you have to add 30+50 i.e. 80 & not only from that single day push-ups number.

Yesterday I was able to do 60 Push-Ups, 30 each from both sets.

There's still a mistake... although your new Pus might be recorded but the count might not change..  that  depends on @Dirtykeyboard  script actually, check your last entry.
Nextime, you don't need to write every previous entry format to avoid mistake,you can just write you new entry format
Welcome once again Smiley you will get used to more Pus as time goes on

I have not been able to submit the push up report for the last two days. On the 11th I did 100 push ups in 4 sets and on the 12th I did 100 push ups in 4 sets.

My new report:

The same with me but I don't think if is that bad for any one to give two days report at, some users are given one week report, what is most important is ensuring that you are giving your report. Today's weather was very favorable for exercise in my country side and I took advantage of it with my usual target of hitting 200 push ups where some times i don't end up achieving, thou I did it today but I wasn't able to achieve it yesterday.

Suggestive that the joy and motivation in the push ups may have been embedded strictly on the price of BTC going upwards only instead of taking account into the benefits of exercise to the body system too. Similar with how  we experience weak hands in bitcoin accumulation. Making a different table for the active and non-active members can be considered.
The more that I think about this idea of active versus inactive (in terms of pushups) the more that I am thinking that any separation (if we decide that it would be a good idea and/or something that tweaks DirtyKeyboard's interests in doing such a thing) would be to still keep them showing up in the same table, but just having a separation in the table that gives a bit of a priority to active (however "we" in this thread might come to define such a thing?  that is if we can come to some kind of agreement, consensus or at least lack of disconsensus (if that's a word?)).
Its all a good idea in a way, if the train must keep moving then priority in any form to active pushers should be made, it will encourage existing active participants to keep consistency with their push ups to have their name listed in the table of active participants, and to whoever is compiling the list it will also reduce burden for the person as he or she would be focused on the active's rather than a mixer. Assuming a consensus is to be taken it's still active participants that will be involved in the consensus. What do you think would be their decision?

Surely members can express their preferences and/or opinions, and it could be that members do not have strong opinions on the topic, and even I feel that I don't have any kind of strong opinion on the topic, even though I spent a bit of time to attempt to describe my opinion.

I started my day doing push-ups and other exercises. Did 80 in total before I took a short rest and did other exercise.

Almost every day, I start the day out with one set of pushups, and so usually I end up doing my first pushup set within 30 minutes to 1 hour after getting up. 

I figure that if I get one set in early, then most of the time, I am able to do a couple sets in the day and even 3 sets, even if my day is very busy.  But, yeah, I do frequently try to get up to 4 or 5 sets per day, even though in the last month-and-half-ish, I have not had very many days that exceeded 4 pushup sets in any particular day.

Even though through my regular submission of pushup reports, my pushups and my sets seem fairly regularity, I still have my own inconsistencies that somewhat depend upon how much I am able to make time for my pushup sets and to fit them into my daily schedule.  Even in real life, when I tell people that I have been doing pushups for the past 5-month-ish, they kinds of react like "oh, that's nice," and then just change the topic .. .but then at the same time, I am pretty sure that my physical appearance, my energy and even the supplementation of my discussion of my pushups and my other health/self-improvement topics has a bit of an influence upon them, and sometimes people don't really want to directly acknowledge how a guy like me might have had ended up influencing them in their way of thinking or even their thoughts about whether they might want to include (or squeeze) the doing of pushup sets into their daily activities.

1) Self-Custody is a right.  There is no such thing as "non-custodial" or "un-hosted."  2) ESG, KYC & AML are attack-vectors on Bitcoin to be avoided or minimized.  3) How much alt (shit)coin diversification is necessary? if you are into Bitcoin, then 0%......if you cannot control your gambling, then perhaps limit your alt(shit)coin exposure to less than 10% of your bitcoin size...Put BTC here: bc1q49wt0ddnj07wzzp6z7affw9ven7fztyhevqu9k

It seems you weren't that good in exercises like making it part of your daily routine even if you're the busy type, like they say it takes a day to make a change for yourself and you have already started doing the push up and other exercises. I think you should even talk more on how frequent you have been with this push up or should I say daily workout, you don't know who have been trying to keep up but lacks that motivation and if someone sees or hears that you of all people are into morning exercises he or she might take it as a challenge to start doing it, believe me all these daily workout do help but many don't think it's necessary, I'd say talk more about it to your friends you think they hardly do it and those you think can do it.

Good.  I am glad that you are back and willing to continue with your pushups.. and yeah, we have been noticing that there are some pusher members who had not been posting their reports for quite some time.

An entire week without posting my report felt like something was missing although I kept pushing up, I had no time for my phone, Which has its advantages and disadvantages to cut it all up it was a very busy week practically my busiest week this whole year to be honest.

Am most happy that despite my busy week I didn’t miss a day or evening push-up routine, here below is my 8days report summed up for easy addition to the board.

Yes, everyone must be busy, friend, because that's life, but we have to keep enjoying it. Apart from that, being able to do push ups in your busy schedule is certainly not an easy matter. Because for me personally, sometimes my focus is always distracted by other activities. But fortunately push ups have become a very mandatory thing in my daily agenda, for the last 3 years. So it feels like something is missing if you don't do push ups. Especially now that there is this push up challenge, my desire to continue doing push ups every day has become stronger. So this is my push up report to date

Currently I can do 280 repetitions of push ups per day. My goal this month is to be able to do 300 repetitions of push ups per day. Apart from that, I have suggestions for those of you who have quite busy times every day. Try doing this so that you can continue to do push ups effectively and not interfere with other activities.

Method
  • Maximize the number of push up repetitions you can do in each set
  • Don't rest too long between each set
  • Then, if you want to get maximum results from the push ups you do and also want to save more time, don't divide your push up sets over a long period of time (for example, the first set is done in the morning, then the second set is done in the afternoon, and the third set is done at night). Because I have tried this method, it actually takes time and the muscles cannot rest optimally. Because of course if we want to do push ups, at least we have to warm up first. So just imagine, if we divide the push up sets into morning, afternoon and evening, we will automatically warm up at these three times. This clearly wastes time and also makes the muscles unable to rest optimally. So it's better to do push ups at one time and complete them every day. Because it will definitely save more time, and the results of the push ups will feel more optimal for our bodies. Because the muscles that are trained can really rest optimally.

So that's my advice.

I have not been able to submit the push up report for the last two days. On the 11th I did 100 push ups in 4 sets and on the 12th I did 100 push ups in 4 sets.

The same with me but I don't think if is that bad for any one to give two days report at, some users are given one week report, what is most important is ensuring that you are giving your report. Today's weather was very favorable for exercise in my country side and I took advantage of it with my usual target of hitting 200 push ups where some times i don't end up achieving, thou I did it today but I wasn't able to achieve it yesterday.

So that's my advice.

I am going to continue to spread my pushups through the day, even though it is good to hear alternative theories and explanations why you consider your recommendation as preferable.

I find my own schedule a bit erratic, so there will be times in which my pushups are a bit more consistently able to be done (such as spaced 1-3 hours between sets), and then other times in which there will be greater than 3 hours between sets, and so yeah sometimes there could be 8-12 hours or more between sets, whether talking about overnight timeframes or even during the day when one or two sets might be done in the morning and then no real opportunity to do those sets during the day. 

Personally, I find myself to not be in great enough shape to be doing a bunch of sets of pushups in a row, even though surely I am in better shape now than I was 5-ish months ago when we started this pushup challenge, so for me, I would be more able to do several sets of pushups in a row, if I were to want to, but I don't want to and I prefer to keep them spread out during the day.

Another upcoming change that I am expecting is that I will likely need to be increasing my pushup sets in order to prepare our going to $100k and my abilities to potentially try to do 500 or more pushups in a day, and in that regard, I get the sense that I have to build up to such at thing, so yeah, the last month and a half or so, I had been purposefully reducing my pushups (from way over 200 pushups per day to around below 150 pushups per day) in order to bring down my average pushups per day, yet it seems that in the past week or so, I have been working my way back up into the supra 200 pushups per day, and maybe I am doing this in a kind of anticipation to being in a place in which I will be able to challenge the day in which we reach $100k and so I will be able to do my 500+ pushups in a day and without overly killing myself in that day or maybe the series of days that I might work up to that... I did actually have more than 300 pushups yesterday, even though I only counted 265 for yesterday and I counted the others on another day (which was half the pushups that were counted for an earlier date.. but that is my own way of counting pushups, which may or may not be agreeable to other forum members.. but whatever, it works for me, and where I am at right at this time).

By the way, I was doing about a 45 minute or so walk yesterday, and when the sun is shining, I try to get some sun on my body, so I removed my shirt, and I was walking near one of my neighbors (a 94 year old man), and so I had not seen him for about a bit longer than a year, and he was just sitting out and perhaps getting some sun too.. and so I talked with him about 15-20 minutes or so.. just to catch up on a few things... and so then at one point in the conversation, he said, "you have gotten more muscular," and I told him that I was doing pushups in the past 5 months, and I told him how hard it was for me to do them, but I had improved over the past 5 months, since I started at a low number and worked my way up. He said something about it looks to have had paid off, so yeah, that was interesting to hear a comment (hopefully he wasn't trying to flirt with me) from a 94 year old about a perceptible improvement in my physique since the last time he saw me (presumptively with my shirt off in order to have accurate comparison points)... hahahahahaha

I totally agree you with dude it's never late to start this push-up exercise as long as you are still young and active but if you are old ( I mean aged) it won't be good for you and the only exercise I would suggest for you to do Is to jog every morning cause that will be easier for aged people compared to push-up because push-up required a lot of strength I mean forcing the muscle to be displacing. However, if you are still young I mean strong you are welcome for the push-up challenge and make sure to learn how to report very well else your report won't be recorded or added to the table.

Sounds to me that you are just guessing about what kinds of exercises that people can do based on their age.  Hopefully people don't listen to your bad advice.

Yes. Young people are stronger than old people, and younger people can recuperate from injury and/or soreness from strenuous exercises better than older people. 

One of the reasons that you don't know what you are talking about sotelorene seems to be that you do not recognize the value of resistance training, retention of muscle and the building of muscle for older people.

So, even if pushups are difficult for older people to carry out on a regular basis (whether daily or otherwise), there still are a lot of benefits in doing pushups for older people and potentially figuring out an appropriate quantity of pushups or even whether or how to modify the pushups towards their ability levels.
If anything, there is a case to be made that strength based training is even more important for the elderly, since the young just by virtue of being young can retain their muscle mass way more effectively than those that are older.

This is because as we get older the body loses some of its ability to process protein, which as we know is key for muscle retention and growth, so exercise alone may not be enough to get additional muscle mass and a protein supplement may be needed as well.

I did only 30 on Sunday, since I missed my evening pushups but will try to add more to my pushups of this remaining days to make up to that while yesterday did 2 sets, first 30 and the second 40

Method
  • Maximize the number of push up repetitions you can do in each set
  • Don't rest too long between each set
  • Then, if you want to get maximum results from the push ups you do and also want to save more time, don't divide your push up sets over a long period of time (for example, the first set is done in the morning, then the second set is done in the afternoon, and the third set is done at night). Because I have tried this method, it actually takes time and the muscles cannot rest optimally. Because of course if we want to do push ups, at least we have to warm up first. So just imagine, if we divide the push up sets into morning, afternoon and evening, we will automatically warm up at these three times. This clearly wastes time and also makes the muscles unable to rest optimally. So it's better to do push ups at one time and complete them every day. Because it will definitely save more time, and the results of the push ups will feel more optimal for our bodies. Because the muscles that are trained can really rest optimally.

So that's my advice.
Sigh, I don't think I can do this though I usually do mine morning in evening and was planning to continue in this manner

I think you misunderstood the whole format. You'd posted 3 reports before this one.So overall you had five reports. Now you have to add up days too means now in above reports, it should be 4 and 5 & not 1 or 2 again. After that days things, you have to write overall push-ups you did till date & not only for that individual single day in order to be updated in DirtyKeyboard sheet/chart.
