Previously, my wrist hurt when I tried Russian push-ups, but when it felt a little better, I started trying again. However, it seems that my hands are problematic and need to be treated first because when I tried just one repetition, my hands started to feel sore.

Today, I want to consult with someone first because this is a bit bothersome. Although there is no swelling, my wrist feels numb when holding something.

@DirtyKeyBoard, I have been off this thread without dropping my reports but I have them written down so I don't know how you going to do it...was tied up with movement that's why I had to write it down and later bring it here....God help me, I don't want to be on the bench.

The script will automatically deal with your three pushup reports by ONLY reading the third report in order to put the contents of the third one in the table.  The script will not go back and fix pushup tables from earlier dates unless DirtyKeyboard were to do that manually, which I doubt that he would be inclined to want to do that.

I thought as much, well is still ok and going back to fix it will be a waste of time, in as much as he volunteered himself to do all he [@DirtyKeyBoard] has been doing to record all the reports we drop doesn't mean we have to punish him to start going back to fix something that happened 3 to 4 days back. I really appreciate all @DirtyKeyBoard has been doing but on the report the only thing that is important is the days of push up that needs to be followed, that's to show that those other day I didn't report I was active with the push up.
As we start a new week may we stay positive, no dullness no procrastinating, it will keep us going... happy new week.

I’m dealing with some hip pain this weekend. Not exactly sure what I did but it was either a strange reaction to some squats or I slept on it wrong. Either way I haven’t gone swimming or biking this weekend so I figured I had better keep the push-ups going and ignore my rest day. I’ve never really had hip pain before so this is new.
Since you have never had back pain before, I think it is a new experience it could be due to muscle tension sitting or standing in the wrong position, lifting something heavy or sudden movements. Try moving your arms and legs a little and doing physical exercises. If that is the case, it will decrease or get better and if you rest then hopefully your back pain will be fixed.

I’m dealing with some hip pain this weekend. Not exactly sure what I did but it was either a strange reaction to some squats or I slept on it wrong. Either way I haven’t gone swimming or biking this weekend so I figured I had better keep the push-ups going and ignore my rest day. I’ve never really had hip pain before so this is new.

Waist pains can be caused by some many factors ranging from cold, the way you slept, exercise, even infections can also cause waist pains, but if you have not noticed before and maybe due to exercise u performed the previous day u started noticing it then you know that the cause is the exercise, I once experienced it and when i checked it was infection the only place i feel pains after my push ups is only my muscles, like after yesterday one hand push ups, I woke up this morning and i flet pains in my muscle 💪💪, the weather ☁️ is calm this morning so i was able to add 100 pushups to my number, i did  10 pushups in 10sets.

@DirtyKeyBoard, I have been off this thread without dropping my reports but I have them written down so I don't know how you going to do it...was tied up with movement that's why I had to write it down and later bring it here....God help me, I don't want to be on the bench.

You can just give one push up report you can calculate all the numbers you have done previously together and just give one report, the script will pick the day 3 one because this is where you have your current report, like almost one week i have given no push up report i already have them in my book record and will have everything calculate together and from my calculation i have done 530 numbers of push up after six days.

I regularly go to the Chiropractor, so i have a little bit of a head start in not having back pains.  It took me a while to get used to doing more than three or four pushups in one go. I've noticed my arms, back and chest seems to be becoming tighter with slow, regular, methodical practice.

I don't think I've reached an upper limit of pushups.  In saying that, I don't have any set goals, instead I'm just finding once I'm comfortable, then I increase my number of pushups per set.

My wrists haven't felt sore which is a blessing.

Want to be included on the spreadsheet tracking everyone's push-ups?  Below is the format to post your progress in order to be added to the spreadsheet.  
Example: 100k,OgNasty,69,6900,2024-04-20

[Format(notice no spaces): "100k,UserName,DaysDoingPushups,TotalPushupsDone,yyyy-mm-dd"
This would be the first 3 posts of a new participant named Pushupper who completed 20 pushups on day 1, 30 pushups on day 2, and 30 pushups again on day 3.

I would have said that it is the squat you did that's causing you hip pain, but I am not quite sure if squats can cause hip pain. Just put any physical exercise you are combining with push-ups on hold for now and watch your body to see if the hip pain will stop, but if the hip pain persists, it will be nice you see a doctor to figure out what is wrong in your body.

I’m dealing with some hip pain this weekend. Not exactly sure what I did but it was either a strange reaction to some squats or I slept on it wrong. Either way I haven’t gone swimming or biking this weekend so I figured I had better keep the push-ups going and ignore my rest day. I’ve never really had hip pain before so this is new.

Get plenty of rest and eat well during this time. Also, stretch your quads, hamstrings, and hips, this will help.
A cold shower can also be beneficial; it'll at least increase blood flow a bit.

Today, I did a full calisthenics workout. I tried to complete pull-ups and push-ups until exhaustion.
The first set of pull-ups was 15 reps, then 12, and then I dropped to 10. For push-ups, I easily reached 150 reps; pushing has always been easier for me. Also wall plank, wall sit, hand stand hold etc..

Thanks. My hip feels better today and I got some time in on the bike so I’m sure tomorrow I’ll be good as new. Gotta love those sleep injuries as you get older. I just grabbed myself a sandwich from Jersey Mike’s, which is so oily that it is basically the sandwich equivalent to a greasy taco stand. Good though.
