This is my 17th day of consistently participating in the pushup challenge, although I am not yet at 100 pushups/day I believe with time and perseverance I will get better.

It is a great achievement that you have gathered so far and believe me that with your level of consistency in this push-ups challenge exercise you surely get to top as other that has gone far with number of days. Today makes me 10 days in a straight without skipping any day in push-up challenge, i completed my 300 push-ups today, I'm already making a difference so far.

To be honest I'm not really consistent in following up with this thread that's why there's no record of my pushups or workout routines but still from time to time I try to put in some work. I was able to do 5 bench presses,  40, push ups and 40 squats two days back but I haven't really put in any work today though. Call it laziness (I'd not argue  Grin), but I'd blame it majorly on the weather that hasn't been friendly. We've been having steady rains that is slowing getting to a flood level and it has sort of affected my drive to do anything work out related but I'd definitely get in something before the day runs out. I hope it would be okay to register my work out report?
I was thinking it was because of your daily activities that made you stop doing push-ups, but since it is because of rainfall, that is not enough reason for you to put your push-ups on hold, because rain has been falling on our neighbours too, and it didn't stop us from doing push-ups. If the rain ceases to stop in your neighborhood, you can be doing your push-ups in your room for the time being, and when it has finally stopped, you can do it anywhere that pleases you

I woke up a little tired today. The workouts I've done over the past two days have been pretty intense.
I was originally going to work on legs today, so I went to the gym and canceled that, postponing it until tomorrow.
Only did pushups, but if this were a challenge, I wouldn't have pushed them so hard. I did 100 reps and was home for the day. I made my coffee and started working out. It's peaceful on quiet days like these. Smiley

leg workouts i think should be added as part of the excerise we should be doing while buying and investing in Bitcoin as a future financial plan, I did more of leg workouts today, then I made my self some bowl rice, after which I did 50 reps of pushups

I felt that I needed to write up a draft of this post prior to matching my total pushups to be 10x my merits, since a few days ago, on the 10th or the 11th, I was starting to feel that I was getting within grasp of matching my total pushups to 10x my merits, but then for some reason I had a streak of receiving a lot of merits, which screwed up my pushups since I did not want to have to really overly push myself in term s of reaching the goal.

So I was at 13,110 merits at the end of the day on the 10th, which would mean that I would need to get to 131,110 pushups, and on that day I had reached 131,025 - and so I was ONLY within about 85 pushups of matching.. however on the 11th, 12th and 13th, I received 19, 11 and 21 merits respectively which brought my target to various higher level with pushup deficits that varied - and it looked like this on the below table:

For the remainder of today, and until I do my next pushup set tomorrow, the number of merits might change, yet I am o.k. with that since at the time of this post, there was a match, and likely I am going to largely continue to exceed 10x my merits as long as I keep doing pushups since my average pushups per day have been in the ballpark of 130 to 170, and my average merits per day since the beginning of the merit system have been averaging only in the ballpark of 4.31 per day.  So there you have it.  I am proclaiming another self-described (with the prompting of Dirty Keyboard) target (milestone) met.
it's so nice knowing how far you push yourself to meet 10x of your merits and it keeps adding daily, pushup is really a great exercise, but for newbies like me and some others it can be really tiring when we try our best and keep reporting, your support will really go along way for our growth

Yea, he was away for a while. He mentioned it earlier here, that he would be away. The way he said it, I personally felt somehow, thinking he wouldn't come back here again, but it's good to see him reporting and back on the floor.  @Sexylizzy2813, maybe you have gone on your breaks as you said when he spoke of his not been around. Welcome back EFS, hope you are okay and good?

I didn't say I would take a break. I don't like taking breaks, but sometimes I can't find the time or I'm too tired. I'm not happy about this, but I also don't have the same energy as before. I'm trying to do it as much as I can. I continued today as well, with 200 push-ups. I wish I could do it every day.

Ya you are good to join and also you are very much welcome, push up is one exercise that doesn't require to purchase an equipment before you can start doing push up even at your comfort area it can be done moreover exercise is one thing we shouldn't lack it makes us to be physically fit and also healthy at the same time.

Yesterday i was on 4 set it was 20 reps each, this morning i manage to complete 50 push up that's 130 push up recorded.

I came across this and is really surprising, but is it true? We all know this isn't the first time Bitcoin price has dropped to the level it was [although it has started going back up] and many are panicking like that's the end...what's going on?🤣

Some days ago i saw this on Facebook though i hardly believe any thing seen online but if this is true then they might have invested into some kind altcoins, shitcoin because these are only coin that can dump to an extend that one might think of taking his life or going on sick bed due to high blood pressure, we should choose bitcoin and always invest in bitcoin and not shitcoin.

I saw this challenge and would like to join but as a girl i don't think i can do higher number but I will try.
Pushups are not so "girl friendly," so you could consider modified pushups or some other exercise, such as lunges.

Regarding suicides, there is a difference between bitcoin and crypto in terms of what the market performance was in the pbe ast few days, and also trading is different from investing, in terms of the ways that money could be made or lost.

The bitcoin price did not really change very much.  Sure we had an up at the beginning of October, and then the October 10th correction, and largely BTC prices are currently close to the same as they were at the end of September.  So someone investing in bitcoin and even mostly holding most of his own private keys, there would not have had been much of a change in the value of his holdings between late September and now.

Maybe bitcoin newbies might have had been buying in the past few weeks and also not much affected by changes in the BTC price, without necessarily expecting that any newbies to bitcoin would be able predetermine or predict BTC prices.. .and perhaps buying with an investment horizon of 4-10 years or longer..
You are right pushup exercise is not a girl thing, modified pushup are way easier to do since you won't be using your complete strength to push up and down, lunges exercise are also good since it works on multiple joint group, but i will start with modified pushup it will be more easier for me to perform.
The dip in price of BTC won't affect long term investors because they are still buying bitcoin there can be good profit if we buy and hold for 4-10, the dip has present it self for bitcoin investors to buy more BTC.

Can i still give a pushup report since i will be doing modified pushup?.

I think that we are mostly relaxed in this thread in regards to the kinds of pushup that you do and the extent to which whatever you are doing is equivalent to pushups.

There have been some members who start out with modified pushups and then transition up to full pushups, and there are perhaps some other members who are continuously doing some kinds of modified pushups based on their own physical situation and/or preferences.

I personally think that it is better to do sets of at least 6-10 pushups that are modified rather than doing less than 6 full pushups in a set.  For  sure, with pushups if you make them really easy and you do a lot of repetitions rapidly then you start to convert the pushups into more of a cardio exercise rather than a resistance exercise.

I think that pushups are meant to be a resistance exercise that can be carried out anywhere... at least those are advantageous characteristics of pushups.

For sure, women (girls) are not as strong in their upper body as men (boys), so there might not be as much advantage in doing pushups in a way that causes a lot of effort (like the full pushups) versus the modified pushups, so in some sense it might be better for women to do pushups in modified ways and causing the pushups to be more cardio and less attempts to build muscles that they do not naturally have... so maybe in that sense it is better for women to be doing the modified pushups rather than the full  pushups and sure of course, counting them 1 for 1.  Some guys proclaim that they don't like to see women who are overly muscular in their upper body because it is not feminine enough and it is attempting to emphasize masculine characteristics, so I suppose in that regard, modified pushups can still be good in order to merely tone the muscles rather than attempting to build them and contribute to a masculine appearance.  Of  course, in the end, each of us will choose how we want to emphasize and even how we might present ourselves to others... even though surely there can be costs and benefits in regards to how people choose to present themselves.. even though physical exercise can contribute to strength, well-being and appearance.

In regards to the price, surely our additional dip in the past couple of days, especially in the past day, has brought bitcoin newbies quite a lot of extra opportunities to buy bitcoin at lower prices, even though my own ideas about newbies and then bitcoin price is that they likely should not be overly concerned about the price in terms of their initially getting into bitcoin, since it can take quite a bit of time to build bitcoin holdings, especially if an overwhelming majority of people will mostly only be able to invest from their income as it is coming in and most people do not have a lot of money that they can invest to front load their bitcoin investment in a short period of time, so even with some more well-off people, they might end up choosing some kind of a DCA mode of investing into bitcoin, even if they might be working towards reallocating into bitcoin from other assets that they might own, it still might take them several months or even 6-12 months or more to reallocate into their bitcoin position... and so surely there can be some advantages in trying to invest more during bitcoin dipping periods as long as capital is not being overly withheld or left dormant based on waiting for BTC price dips that might not end up happening.  

Frequently, it seems to be the case that we have had people in bitcoin who are constantly talking about bitcoin down prices that might not end up happening, and then they are supposedly strategizing (or spreading misinformation) in regards to supposedly waiting for further dips prior to buying, and anyone who is newer to bitcoin is likely way better off to build a practice and a mentality of ongoing, persistent, consistent, regular and perhaps even aggressive buying of bitcoin until they are able to build a decent sized bitcoin stash and without being overly concerned about the extent to which bitcoin is in a dip or not.

One thing about pushups is that it can be very flexible in terms of how much space is required to do it, even though surely some people might prefer to do their pushups in private rather than around people and some folks might have to purposefully figure out some spaces that they can do their pushups that is convenient and comfortable for them.

I know that some days I am doing pushups in a certain location, and then other days I am doing them in another location.  and sometimes when I am around people, I prefer to not do pushups, even though sometimes I might be doing pushups and then someone might come into the area that I am doing pushups... ..so I can understand that even with the idea of rain or even high temperatures, pushups might be inconvenient and/or difficult to accomplish.

I have also come to such difficulties when I have a lot of activities in certain days, and then it can be a bit more difficult to fit the pushups into my daily activities, so surely on some of those days I might choose to do fewer pushups or fewer sets or maybe I will try to cram the pushups all into one time and location, so that the rest of my daily schedule and activities can be freed from having to do pushups.  Personally, I also prefer to try to do pushups before eating rather than after eating, so in that sense sometimes, I have to make sure to do a pushup set prior to eating rather than after I have eaten (or maybe after an hour later, after having had eaten).

Today was my shoulder workout, perhaps one of my favorite days to work out. I started by jumping rope and doing 100 push-ups.
Then I moved on to the shoulder workout. I did handstand push-ups, wall walks, handstand holds, and then pike push-ups. If I include the push-ups from the shoulder workout, I did 150 push-ups today.

You are right. The rains should not stop me because others would have been affected by it as well but then again, maybe not all of them would have had their houses being flooded by it. Anyways, not to sound like I've got more issues than others, I tried putting in some pushups no matter how late and was able to add 20 to the usual 100. Bitcoin price is going down but that's not going to dampen the mood cause I'm still optimistic that it's going to skyrocket soon. My report;

To be honest I'm not really consistent in following up with this thread that's why there's no record of my pushups or workout routines but still from time to time I try to put in some work. I was able to do 5 bench presses,  40, push ups and 40 squats two days back but I haven't really put in any work today though. Call it laziness (I'd not argue  Grin), but I'd blame it majorly on the weather that hasn't been friendly. We've been having steady rains that is slowing getting to a flood level and it has sort of affected my drive to do anything work out related but I'd definitely get in something before the day runs out. I hope it would be okay to register my work out report?
I was thinking it was because of your daily activities that made you stop doing push-ups, but since it is because of rainfall, that is not enough reason for you to put your push-ups on hold, because rain has been falling on our neighbours too, and it didn't stop us from doing push-ups. If the rain ceases to stop in your neighborhood, you can be doing your push-ups in your room for the time being, and when it has finally stopped, you can do it anywhere that pleases you

You know the weather have a way of making some persons choose not to continue with what they're doing even if they can do it inside their room or in the kitchen, you can decide to say you'd like to take a little rest because of how cold the weather is, it happens and before you know it you have skipped more than what you're suppose to do in a day...it happened to me some time ago, nice weather to take a nap in the morning and my plan was rest the eyes just for 10mins, before I could realize I have missed out on many things I'm suppose to do so this rainy days can make some of us stop doing things we like doing, only those who have learnt tgeir lessons that can avoid it.

I took a break for two days, friend, then came back and started the push-up challenge. Actually, I don't take a break for one day a week, and after that break, I come back. After finishing push-ups every day, I do some more exercises for my body and after that exercise, I go for a walk. I walk for at least 30 minutes every morning. After the walk, I go to my work destination. On days when my workload is very high, maybe on that day I only do push-ups, my unique exercise and don't walk.

I completed a total of 5 sets of 100 push-ups this morning and afternoon.

Shoulder workouts are also among my favorites along with chest workouts. However, since I got injured there in the past, I don't push too hard anymore. Sometimes I feel the pain there even in my daily push-ups.
Anyway, keep doing push-ups. Let's finish this year well. Added another 200 push-ups today.

It's a beautiful Saturday morning and a very happy weekend to you all...  So today's weather has been so friendly that I didn't find it difficult to engage in my daily pushups. Today I added 100 to my daily pushups exercise, I couldn't update my Thursday and Friday report due to my tight schedule, I did 100 pushups on Thursday and also 100 on Friday, so this report is for three days

Don't mind Bitcoin and it's up and down. We are all here waiting for it. We keep pushing regardless. That's what we have decided. At least, if the price of Bitcoin is falling, our fitness keeps rising, isn't that a wise one? So we keep getting on it, yea!

Weekends are for relaxation and a couple of fun, I wouldn't let the fall take the fun away, we shouldn't either. Have a nice weekend you all!
