Ive been hearing about situations where someone buys a coin for a certain rate and not quite long after,  the said coin drops in value, or  someone sells his coin for a certain rate and then it appreciates just after.
What's your take on this? Given the period we're in is it buy time or sell time?

No one has the crystal ball to see what the future holds, if that is the case, the scenario that you are putting, and if that is bitcoin then I would rather hold and not sell. But if that is altcoins or shitcoins, then you have to think twice as altcoin market is very unpredictable. There are groups like the Pump and Dump scheme who works from behind and will try to do  the scenario that you are describing.

But if you are with Bitcoin, then, even if it goes down hard, the best thing to do is buy and HODL, simply as that. Anyhow, you might hear different advise, so it's really up to you do to what's best for you. The situation that you describe is unavoidable, it will always happen so it really up to you what course of action you will take to either preserve your coins or dump them.

Volatility in the market is what we can't trap in a vacuum which is why even after much of research and with your analytical conclusion you still have to tread the market with caution because you can lose so much within a twinkle of an eye and also still can make profit within that twinkle. In as much as we can't see the future let me ready to accept whatever  event that happens after we might have taken a decision in this crypto space, with this we can be able to Dela with regrets and move forward for another trial again hopefully.

This is normal in cryptomarket because of its volatility especially you can’t expect any project to pump all the time, corrections and price drop will always be part of the market cycle. You have to be more cautious when you are investing, you have to assess your position and know when to buy and sell. Timing in the market is also important, know how to timing the market and you can be more profitable in time.

dream that everyone do wish for is on which they would really be able to know into those when conditions but we do know that it cant be just possible. This is something that all people here on this market
is really that trying to figure it out and this is something that majority would really be doing their very best on learning those technical analysis because we are really that trying out to
find on where it would possibly go.

If you buy bitcoins now is the time to buy and hold bitcoins. Buy sell and hold it all depends on which coins you hold. If you buy Bitcoin then you can hold it at present no problem, profit is guaranteed. But if you hold Altcoins there is a lot of risk at the moment, and the possibility of a price drop is very high. Such incidents actually happen to everyone in real life who is involved with cryptocurrency. I have been trading in ORDI Coins for some time back after I bought ORDI Coins at $72.55 the price slowly came down a lot and at one point reached $48. I have been in a lot of losses for a long time but when all coins rise in price including bitcoin market but no change in ORDI coin price I sell with some loss when I sell with loss after few hours the price rises rapidly and $89  Dollars are done. In fact, I think such incidents happen to everyone and one should never regret such incidents. I will not form an opinion about the time we are in now.  Since our bitcoin halving is coming up soon not before the Bitcoin halving but after the Bitcoin halving the price will go down a bit in which case what to do right now is a personal matter. The bull happened recently though not enough to make the price go further from breaking ATH , but i get what you are calling here  and that bullrun is what we are commonly see after the Halving in which the price grows really high from the previous ATH.

you are correct that bitcoin is for keeping in our moment now, and i also see it that way though market is still waiting till when will it stays in 60k or below 50k.

The answer is simple despite its complications!
If you are a day trader making profit from bitcoin's fluctuations, then you should sell when price reaches that resistance and if it breaks because such "record" highs have a tendency to be a good selling point for majority of the market participants where they want to take profit and the weak hands who usually panic sell at times like this.

However, if you are not familiar or comfortable with trading, selling at such times is risky for you and may lead to losing money. Just buy in the dips and hold so that you can enjoy the long term ride to the moon.

You can study the 2017 charts to see all of what I said above. The previous record high at that time was about $1200. See how the market reacted when we got closer to that mark and how when we crossed it for the first time.

If we are talking about Bitcoins specifically, then I would say there is no perfect time to buy the coins. If you have money to invest then just invest and buy the coins irrespective of it’s price. As bitcoins are limited in numbers and we know the price is going up day by day. Regarding other coins, then always sell a buy and sell target. Buy the coin when the price reaches a certain price and sell only when the price is in your desired range.
