There is nothing wrong with a new investor to strive to invest into bitcoin as aggressively as he can without overdoing it, and yeah, he has to figure out how aggressive that he is able to be without overdoing it.
New investors more like newbies can try to front-load there bitcoin and become wimpy if they choose and feels comfortable to do it when they have that discretionary income, just like when I started my bitcoin investment, I did commit some blunders because I was more interested in buy some sort of dips I wasn’t buying consistently, but when I realized I had made some mistakes I had to go more aggressive with buying through the DCA, because I feel I can make up from some of the unnecessary lost times mistakes that I made while starting my investment, but I was comfortable with my aggressiveness, I need to strategically plan my over-load of buying bitcoin, I did it with knowing my limit as well, first of all i have to feel comfortable with becoming aggressive.
Aggressiveness is a relative term, so there is no need to front load in order to be aggressive.
Sure, a person who has extra funds available has more options than a person who is merely relying upon his regular income, yet even a person who has $100 per week of discretionary funds could choose $33.33 investing, $33.33 savings and $33.33 in discretionary consumption, or maybe he chooses to be more aggressive by investing $70 and then putting $15 into savings and $15 into discretionary consumption.
How aggressive a person chooses to be will still end up falling into the amount of resources that he has, and he does not necessarily need to have greater levels of resources in order to be aggressive, yet maybe he works towards being more aggressive by purposefully trying to figure out ways to increase his discretionary income by increasing his income and/or decreasing his expenses.
Any who is trying to be as aggressive as he can be without overdoing it will likely ongoingly need to pay attention to make sure that he is not overdoing it, so he still likely needs to be ongoingly building and/or monitoring his back up funds in case he has a lowering of his income and/or an increase in his basic expenses.
I'm not equating them with strategy rather they should try and grow their bitcoin portfolio to a bigger level before they will start looking into selling some portion to take profit.
The truth is that everyone with their your own goal , so you can’t compare others goal . Like I usually say everyone with their goal , some can choose to set a certain amount of bitcoin as their goal, some folks goal can be 2 BTC and more it just boils down on which suit you better as an investor of your capacity.
Sure, I'm not saying that everyone's goal is the same and or guys must get to a certain stage before they start selling their holdings. Perhaps you didn't read through the line i bolded,
I know every investors must have set Their goals even before they start accumulating bitcoin. That is not true. Guys do not have to have figured out their goals (and set them) prior to getting started buying bitcoin. Guys can start buying bitcoin as soon as they calculate that they have discretionary funds and they can figure out their goals as they go.
What I'm trying to say is that, guys need to focus on the ongoing buying of bitcoin for now, since there's an opportunity to buy cheaper.
Why are you getting so excited about the current bitcoin price? If a guy is new to bitcoin, then why should he give any shits about the current bitcoin price?
Bitcoin newbies get started buying bitcoin and many times they have no fucking clue if the bitcoin price is going to go up, down or sideways, yet they are buying bitcoin since they either have no coins or they are a low coiner, and they may well have goals to accumulate bitcoin on an ongoing basis for 1-2 cycles or more... so in the beginning they just ongoingly buy bitcoin without concern for prices...and perhaps with goals that over time (such as over 1-2 cycles) their bitcoin stash will start to become meaningfully large from their having had ongoingly been buying bitcoin on a regular basis (perhaps weekly?).
even though they have reach their investment target yet they can still make adjustment because the price of Bitcoin is not in the position where we will be talking about selling some portion of our holdings. So instead of them to keep fingers crossed and wait for the price to get to the point where they will feel that if they sell from that given amount they will be in a bigger profit, they rather continue buying while waiting for the price to get to that level.
Maybe you need to be more specific, since it can take quite a long time to build up bitcoin holdings and to start to feel that a guy has enough or more than enough, unless a guy had been able to front load his investment.
Let me drop this here, do everyone plan to hold their bitcoin forever and ever? I have so many replies here, although I can relate so well what we saying but so many persons make it sound like as if any user who sell his bitcoin jas done a great abomination 😁 but the truth is, if you are on the investment plan then selling off just for the course of entertaining pleasure is a stupid thing to but still some users might use selling bitcoin too as a strategy for their long term journey of getting to stash up bitcoin. But the founder satohsi himself would be surprised how people are all about saving now and not selling 😂
What do you actually mean because I don't get it at all..? How can selling your Bitcoin be used as a strategy for there long term journey of stacking up Bitcoin? Do you mean that the more you sell, the more gain you make and then you re-buy? If that's what you mean, isn't that a waste of time and resources, because you might not know the next volatile nice of Bitcoin, wether after your sell, it will move upwards of downwards.. why selling in the fist place when you are still in your accumulation stage? Why not just HODL?
People are not selling but HODLing because there is always a probability of Bitcoin reaching an ATH market price, and at that point, people who bought and held there coins will be at gains because Bitcoin has risen above there entry price. Unless you are a trader who is after immediate gains, if not, the best has always been to buy and HODL..
You are correct @Bigjoe33 to suggest that @MorganaX seems to be expecting that he can know when the BTC price is going to go down so that he can sell BTC and then buy back more BTC cheaper... which truly is a bad strategy to gamble with maybe being able to increase the bitcoin stash size and maybe not.
Instead of selling with a gambling expectation to buy back cheaper, it is probably better to just keep buying bitcoin, especially if a person is working towards increasing his bitcoin stash and trying to increase the stash in a sure-fire way rather than gambling with the stash.
