there are people who in determined even though they don't have a backup money they can still hold their bitcoin for long time because they have a target, some people are not determined why some people are determined so those people that is determined and the people who come risk whatever they have for them to hold their investment for long time, but when you have no decision you cannot hold a Bitcoin for long time so we need to understand that, people keep their Bitcoin because of the profit they assumed they will make from it why some people sell their bitcoin because of the profit they also assume that they will make that is why you have long time investment and short time investment
For someone without an emergency funds being determined to hold bitcoin for a long time won't protect their bitcoin investment during an emergency. No matter how determined you may seem to be , when facing an emergency you will be left with no other choice but to fall back to your bitcoin investment without an emergency funds. Being determined won't help you to pay hospital bills or to repair your car after an accident etc when there is no funds with you. And it won't be a good decision to hold on to your bitcoin when you are face with an emergency, like health challenge. Therefore, determination is good for holding bitcoin for a long term but not without a backup funds.
Do you think without an emergency funds one can determine to hold his or her Bitcoin for long duration yes of course one can protect their Bitcoin during  emergency time sometimes when their is an emergency one will be left with no other choice but to maintain one Bitcoin investment with out emergency time I think sometimes being serious wil not help one to handle some hospital bill or to maintain one's vehicle after some issues that wil occur during daily life.

I agree that only determination is not sufficient to hold Bitcoin during emergency. When individuals don't have an emergency fund and all of a sudden have a need to sell for medical bills, repairs, or other emergency, they may be left with no choice. This is why it is crucial to have an emergency fund in place before you choose to "HODL". Bitcoin should be a commodity that is in the end not the money you need during times of uncertainty, but what you are willing to let go of. Long term holding is much easier if it's planned.

Determination can only be sufficient if it is backed up with emergency funds and the right knowledge, every investor should have a reserve funds or emergency funds in case of any emergency. The reason I said right knowledge is that, some people will sell their Bitcoin investment even when they have emergency funds and I will like to inform you that no Investment is ever easy no matter the plans one have but rather the plan will reduce some stress, unnecessary pressure and emotions and distinguish them from others.

Investing with out an emergency funds is putting your investment into danger, you can't be buying BTC with out saving for an emergency funds doing so you are exposing your bitcoin investment into more risk and danger, while some people sell their bitcoin is because they failed to acknowledge the importance of having an emergency funds, emergencies can happen at any time, it can come unannounced so in a situation where you have your emergency funds available your next option will be sell out your bitcoin holding to handle the emergency situation at hand.

If you do not have a significant backup reserve and good cash flow, you may find yourself selling Bitcoin during difficult times. However, I believe the issue is not simply buying more Bitcoin; rather, it is how much risk you are accepting in relation to your financial capabilities. It is unwise to purchase Bitcoin with full payment if you always have additional funds on hand. Because part of it can be invested in the digital currency Bitcoin, some can be set aside as an emergency fund, and some may be utilised to cover current expenses as needed. As a result, you can both save Bitcoin and avoid having to sell it when an unexpected demand arises.

Therefore deciding whether more Bitcoin is good or negative is not so straightforward. Rather, the question should be: is the quantity of Bitcoin you're purchasing in line with your personal income and cash flow? If that balance is correct and can be maintained over time, progressively expanding your Bitcoin savings appears more reasonable.

Dudee i agree and You have no emergency fund prior to you investing into bitcoin. If all of your funds go into bitcoin you and there is nothing leftover on the counter to use, you run the danger of having to market out for a loss in the time of an emergency situation! For example, you have a medical emergency and need to obtain loan now.

If you have to offer your bitcoins in a down market, you lose a great deal of loan, and also the more loan that is tied up in bitcoin you need in a crunch time frame, the longer you will certainly need to wait for the rates to go back up.

It is highly encouraged to purchase your bitcoin bits slowly and consistantly (consistently over time, matched with your cash income) which provides you comfort of mind while still building your position of bitcoin!

Bitcoin should be a commodity that is in the end not the money you need during times of uncertainty, but what you are willing to let go of. Long term holding is much easier if it's planned.
Holding Bitcoin for the long term also requires financial preparation. In real life  situations such as sudden medical expenses, job loss, family emergencies, or major repair costs can arise. If you don't have the money you may have no choice but to sell Bitcoin even if the market is in a bad state. This disrupts long-term planning.

Having an emergency fund reduces the pressure on investing in uncertain situations and reduces the likelihood of using Bitcoin as money to meet short-term needs. However, this does not mean that everyone is required to have the same amount of emergency fund before starting investing. Everyone's income, expenses, liabilities, and financial situation are different. Create a safety net according to your situation so that you don't have to sell long-term investments even in the event of a minor financial crisis.

If the money that is being invested in the long term is separate from your daily expenses or emergency money, then there will be much less stress during a temporary market decline.
In addition to strong determination, adequate financial preparation, realistic investment amounts, and a clear plan are more important for HODLing in the long term.

you are right. It is not just about accumulating more bitcoin that is important but if the person can be able to hold this bitcoin for a long term without selling. There is need for us to accumulate bitcoin based on our financial capacity by using our discretionary funds, this will make us to be able to hold bitcoin for a long time without selling. Also by being consistent with bitcoin accumulation we can be able to accumulate as much bitcoin over time without putting ourselves into any form of financial pressures by investing with money that is meant for our essential needs. The main focus should be on continuous accumulation of bitcoin rather than trying to accumulate a huge amount of bitcoin within a short time. Being consistent is important in building a good bitcoin holdings.

First consider your cashflow, then figure out the how to allocate your funds . The amount for essential expenses, and your discretionary income which you will also break down , in order to generate emergency funds, saving , and money for investing . Many are finding difficult to sustain their investments due to poor allocation of their earnings, you should know that you have to take care of your basic needs first before investing, so that you won’t later use as your investment to handle those expenses.

Even plenty persons has always talked about this emergency funds and how it is very important while investing. So I don't see any reason why anyone would want to invest and not save some for emergency. I know that not all person is financially bouyant to ongoingly invest and save properly. If that is the situation, that person can invest small small amounts, this is so that they can still have some to use for saving for their emergency. No investor should ever ongoingly invest without planning for emergency, not unless they want to sell later.

No one knows the time emergency will come or the amount of money that will be required for any emergency, but by the time it does you will need to deal with it so that it don't affect your ongoing accumulation. So having some money kept aside is very important. Person don't have to worry about how small it is, it is  better to have something saved out for emergency than to have nothing.

Though their are some folks that can afford to invest in Bitcoin without a backup funds, which are the rich guys, only because they have rich uncle's, dad, aunty, business partners or even other asset they can sell to address any emergency at hand that would have compel them to sell when they never wanted to, but if you know that you are not in such a level financially, setting an emergency and reserve funds in place to protect your bitcoin investment is very necessary, because that's the only way your Bitcoin investment can be a success.

I believe that you said the truth, as we know that rich people their style of doing everything is always different compared to less privileged. So for rich guys to invest in bitcoin without showing much concern about backup funds may be normal for them, because they may have enough funds to cover any unexpected expenses that comes up, or even rely on their family members that can help them fixed any emergency. But for me, how I see bitcoin investment these days, it very important to always get backup funds along side with your investment. Keeping some cash for emergency is still very important.

For the less privilege, people with money may have something to rely on when emergency pump up to them. But average people, building your backup funds together with bitcoin is very necessary, because bitcoin may be most valuable things you own, if your your cash have being put into bitcoin without keep something for emergency, your investments may be at risk whenever something comes up and you will be force to sell your bitcoin at a wrong time.

Investment should be done when someone has some disposal not when your income is very tight due to your expenses.

You are right people shouldn't struggle to invest in bitcoin, anybody that see that they haven't take care what is their important needs and can't be able to figure out if they have some discretionary income shouldn't go and invest in bitcoin, don't see because others are accumulating bitcoin and you force your self to invest if you invest using money that should be use to settle your daily and important needs you may sell your bitcoin with out even getting to your bitcoin over accumulation phase, and ones you invest in bitcoin using what is not your discretionary income you are already gambling with your investment.

The rule that no investment can be made until an emergency fund is fully built does not apply to everyone. If there are sudden medical expenses, job loss, family problems or any other unexpected expenses, you may have to sell your investment. Especially when the market is down, selling your investment for an emergency can result in a loss. Therefore, it is good to set aside some money according to your financial capacity in addition to investing. However, it is also important to consider the financial situation of the individual. For someone whose income is very limited and has little money in hand after meeting the necessary expenses of the month, it may not be realistic to invest a large emergency fund and a large sum at the same time. In that case, reducing the amount of investment and putting some money in emergency savings may be a balanced approach. Even a small amount of savings is better than zero. Do not consider investment money and emergency money as the same amount. Investment should be made with money that is unlikely to be needed in the near future. And the purpose of an emergency fund is to reduce the need to break the investment in uncertain situations.

Indeed long term investment is the best than investing in a short term, it's good to invest and pay attention in it because paying attention in your investment will give edge to many good opportunities than investing in a short time and end it up in setting issues, I agreed to your attribute that investing in a long term is the best.

There is no doubt that an emergency fund is important. But the strict requirement that you cannot buy Bitcoin without an emergency fund can be a barrier for beginners to get started. The first thing is that everyone's financial situation is not the same. Each person has different income, expenses, responsibilities, and risk tolerance. So it may not be right to impose this rule for everyone. If someone buys Bitcoin with the money they need, it can certainly be risky. Because in the event of an emergency, they may be forced to sell it at a loss. But if someone starts with a small amount of their discretionary income and gradually builds an emergency fund, that is not an unreasonable decision. Rather, it gives them the opportunity to start and build an emergency fund before they realize it.

Saving Bitcoin and building an emergency fund are not contradictory tasks. The realistic thing is to understand your cash flow and invest in an amount that will be able to be maintained for a long time.

So what you are saying that without emergency funds people one can't start up Bitcoin investment, there are some people who can start up an investment without depending on emergency fund because they have already strategies that investment sometimes they don't rely only one one investment most of them are rich men they depend on other source of their income. So as some folks that starting up a Bitcoin investment some are just for a short time minded because they are desperate of money so even if they have emergency funds they can still harvest their Bitcoin when there's issues or when they needed money badly so emergency funds doesn't guarantee one to be a successful investors it is what kind ofmethod one uses during investment time.

It's very wrong for a person to start Bitcoin investment without having emergency funds even though they don't build it in that first time they start accumulating bitcoin but they shouldn't wait to grow Their Bitcoin investment in that Standard they like before they will think about having emergency funds because emergency alerm can come up at anytime and then they will be running around to get where they  can deep Their hands to solve the emergency problem, and sometimes a guy may not have any other option apart from his Bitcoin investment so for that he can decide to sell it regardless of the market condition.

Investing in Bitcoin for the long term requires a solid plan, as holding it for a long time is always a long process. Furthermore, Bitcoin has shown a strong rebound in the market, with its price reaching $80,000 today. This is a great thing for those who bought more Bitcoin at $60,000 a few days ago. However, those who were hesitant to buy Bitcoin a few days ago are undoubtedly regretting it. Since the benefits have been very clear that Bitcoin has never disappointed the holders who are so patient, so what has happened now has at least become another quite real example for people who are still afraid to buy Bitcoin and hold it in the long term.

It is not good for an investor to use all of their discretionary income to buy bitcoin when they have not set up a backup funds. If they are face with an emergency they will be left with no other choice but to sell there bitcoin in other to be able to solve whatever problems they maybe facing.
I understand that you mean that the pressure of emergency funds may be relatively less for rich people. But the idea that if you are rich, you can invest in Bitcoin without a backup fund may not be correct. Someone may have more wealth because they are rich. But that does not mean that they will always have easy-to-use cash in hand. Many times, assets may be locked up in land, business, shares or other areas. In such a situation, if he suddenly gets sick, if his income stops, if he loses his business or if he has a big family expense, it may not be easy to use those assets quickly. Then he may be forced to sell Bitcoin. And that, in my opinion, weakens the long-term savings plan.

The purpose of an emergency fund is not only to protect the poor or the middle class, but also to protect investments. The amount or type of an emergency fund of a rich person may be different, but it may not be right to say that it is absolutely not needed.

I don’t understand you man!! What are you saying? The whole of your comment is not making sense!, are you supporting that one can protect their bitcoin without emergency funds? If so you’re not even providing solutions as to how?. So many incomplete sentences or statements in your reply and a lot contradictory.

Determination to bitcoin cannot protect your investment, the only thing it can do is make you go the extra mile to sort out ways to still remain in the market, without emergency funds, the next thing is to sell part or all of your bitcoins depending on the emergency or take loans and go into debts either is not a good strategy.

So it’s very important to have emergency funds available as an investor, don’t wait till an emergency hits you before you start making plans.
