My God, this fight has been postponed again. They will definitely postpone it until next year. There is no point in postponing it again.

It will definitely be a huge setback, and they will need to deliver a mega event so that they don't get hated later.

It is better to cancel it then, if they postpone it until next year Mike will be almost 60 then There is no point such fight at all.

Wont it be better to close this topic? Seriously, who would be interested in watching this fight when Mike is getting older, his health inst improving. We have discussed probably everything already. I see no point from evaluating Tyson condition and skills by those 5-20sec videos from instagram.

As much as we want to see this fight, postponing it till next year will kill the hype itself. So it's better to just cancel it all along. And if Tyson gets healthy, then hopefully push for the fight. But it's not, then Jake should be looking at other retired legendary boxers.

If I'm not mistaken, Roy Jones Jr said that he could be a good replacement. But let's see, it's all about the money and it seems that Netflix has put up front money already and could be looking to at least break even.

I know all that, that was just a sarcasm. In previous topics about Jake Paul vs anyone, everyone was talking that Jake is a nobody, a youtuber who put boxing gloves on, that all his fights are rigged and he is fighting aged veterans only. Suddenly the mood of the topic has changed into huge favourite Jake is fighting against a newbie.

Nothing has really changed. Jake Paul is still fighting aged veterans in fights with easily predictable outcomes. Of course he is going to be a huge favorite when he is fighting a middleweight from a completely different sport. We’ve already seen Jake fight against former MMA fighters half a dozen times already. It’s not rocket science predicting how the outcome is supposed to go.

Personally, I dont really care who Jake fights against, as all of his opponents are people who can and were knocking people out cold, and he has balls to step in the ring against them. Many would be scared to have a light spar in full gear against them, but he puts on gloves, trains and crosses ring ropes.

People would be considerably less scared if they had to spar somebody who is much smaller and has virtually no experience in professional boxing. It doesn’t take any balls to participate in an opportunistic cash grab where everything is stacked in your favor.

I’m just bummed that such an exciting event for Netflix with them entering the realm of live sports has turned into a fight that nobody really cares about. We all just wanted to see Mike Tyson. Without Mike I’m not even sure if I’ll be tuning into the fight now. Netflix has to be upset about Mike’s health issues.

Lol...it's obvious, this is business for Netflix and I am sure that like you said, many like me will be forced to subscribe to Netflix that we've abandoned for months just because of the guy. He is a big name in the world of boxing and those who are mature enough during his reigning days will always appreciate him and want to watch him. This is the calculation of Netflix and if this continues to be successful for them as planned, viola, they will soon be streaming crucial sports events and even have a special branch for it like Netflix sports over time.

As for Mike Tyson's health issue, it is temporary and a new date is fixed, so Netflix can still go ahead with their plan as he will be back on his feet. The date is now the 15th of November which is a long months from now for everyone to have done their homework. I believe the fight will happen.

While I dislike Jake Paul as much as the next person, because lets be honest who would "like" a clown like him? I also still understand his system and what he is doing and why he is doing it. He is an "actor" in a sense, he isn't doing this because he thinks he is legit or anything like that, he does it because it makes money, and he carved up a little part of the world for his "boxing" matches that makes money.

Hate him as much as you want, I do, but that doesn't mean that he is not going to live a rich life, dude will live a super rich life all because of what he does here. I have always said the same thing, it's time for Logan or Jake to fight a real fighter, but they can't, so they get names. Haha I completely agree with you and of course many people say the same thing where they think Paul is not really tough fighter, so far the only people he has beaten are people who are much older, apart from that some are not real boxing fighter.
After all, Nico Ali Walsh is still very young, he needs more experience and it would be much better for him to have some fights that could clearly improve his career, the fight against Paul is just joke.
Apart from that, seeing how both of them are clearly not ideal fighters, weight will affect everything and if it really happens it can ruin everything, there are lot of bad responses for him.
But that Paul, boxer who is really just looking for easier money and fame.

I don’t have any interest in watching Jake Paul fight Mike Perry. The only reason I even remotely care about the outcome is because if Jake Paul loses, that pretty much tanks his event with Mike Tyson. As someone who wants to see more live events on Netflix, that would be disappointing to me. So I’m team Paul for this one.

And with Perry 4:1 underdog in this fight, not sure if he can pull the biggest upset of his career here. And I do think that Jake Paul is going to take this fight seriously, I mean as you have said, if he losses here, it will be the end of the Mike Tyson fight.

Although technically he can still fight Mike, but the hype might not be there anymore in November and perhaps Mike will used that as opportunity to troll him around. For the Mike Tyson fight you would only have to pay for a Netflix subscription, which is as low as $6.99 in the US, and you are getting a much better card overall. The Mike Perry fight has not been getting much buzz, likely because Perry is not seen as a serious challenge, I suspect most people will opt for watching an illegal stream or waiting for the highlights on social media.

I’m not going to pay anything to watch this fight but after seeing their face off I am slightly more interested. One thing I will say is that Mike Perry has an absolutely sick piece of jewelry to commemorate the event. Yep, that will be the case, I'm not willing to pay that price just to watch this two. There are other ways to watch it though, like in Facebook, there could be some users that might share this fight for us. Perry was properly estimated. Calling him a real fighter is being generous when it comes to his capabilities as a boxer. Perry is a pure brawler, but he has no defense, movement or any other useful skill besides coming straight forward hoping to land something without getting too severely hurt. That style might have served him in BKFC against other fighters with limited boxing skills, but in traditional boxing he is basically a human punching bag.

The Tyson fight was a bad idea when it was first announced and it is still a bad idea today. Tyson is a 58 year old who has lived a rough life and is facing health issues. This version of Tyson would lose to mediocre journeymen, against somebody who is a level above that and has decent power there is a risk he will be badly hurt.

 It’s insane they intend to go through with it, but Jake has all these brands to promote, we saw the energy drinks and body spray cans shoved in our face throughout tonight’s broadcast, and the freak show is necessary for him to make his millions.

They want to be boxers and be taken seriously in the sport, OK cool, fight somebody your age and weight class who is even top 50 ranked. It won’t happen because they would lose badly. How I wish Mike Tyson could it done by humbling Jake Paul with a win, comes November. Jake Paul has been feeling on top of the mountain hills all because he hasn't fought a more consistent boxer who has made a name in the boxing world. The boxer Jake Paul has been fighting against are those who are retiring or already tired of boxing. Each time he wins them, he thinks he is among the top boxers who should be celebrated and regarded as one of the best boxers, while in the real sense, he is not a tough fighter
