I dont think Jake should take the risk he loses and falters before the fight with Tyson. The promoters couldnt get their deposit back for the venue so arranged this but it might also mean he loses the kudos to fight Tyson even as a show fight.
If its all scripted I guess there is less risk and its just a money making machine, who would turn that down.
Despite all the money involved, I think it's a terrible idea for Jake Paul to have a fight before the fight with Mike Tyson... It would be much better for the public to have to wait until then, after all, the curiosity factor would weigh heavily in favor of this fight, like: how think Jake Paul is fighting? Will he do well? How much has he prepared?... fighting someone beforehand would take away the surprise factor.

I believe he wants to do it just once and stop.

For Mike? yeah, it could be just one and done for him and it was reported that he will earn $20 million and that is good and big money for him and I don't know during his prime if he has seen that kind of amount as his paycheck as we all know that his manager, Don King has ruined everything for him. For Jake Paul, it will continue still, there are videos of him saying that his critics say he should fight a prime boxer, but then again, no one wanted to fight him. Just imagine if Canelo vs Jake Paul at 168 lbs? And then on the other hand, he is fighting old and former pro athletes and they say that he is not a boxer. So his point is that who ever he fights, there will be someone that he is going to criticize him no matter what.

Honestly I think if both party agree with the fight there should be no problem, nobody is forcing anyone here, the critics toward jake paul where he essentially just fighting his grandpa does have base knowing how old mike tyson is but there should be undermining at all to what mike tyson can do, his recent face off in regard of both party also doesn't have tension instead its just all warm face off with no controversy. have you seen mike tyson smile It's all comes down to the fact that mike tyson know that their sides are racking money, the jake paul side know that they got the fame, its overall win-win situation we also don't expect the fight to be that dangerous both site probably gonna refrain from going all out. boxing after all, is form of entertainment, the entire people involved will make sure that there's nothing wrong going on. not to mention that both sides got no beef, otherwise mike won't let jake dodge question in the latest interview .

There no need to do all of that, if it for money then it clear that by fighting Mike Tyson he can get very large amount of money so that it doesn't even matter if Paul wins or loses against Tyson, the money is still in his hands. If the fight happens and something bad happens like he loses then Paul might lose the hype about him being the favorite for some people, it just that I think if fight like this happens then it an ambiguous choice. It would be better to prepare yourself for the fight against Tyson because this is not an easy fight for Paul, Tyson is much older but he still has everything to be able to make Paul feel defeat. After all, this is what most fans are waiting for, they will feel the sensation of curiosity and desire to know more and this is also what can make big money for both fighters.

This match can be used as a betting event for gamblers who dare to bet there and this match is also highly anticipated by all fans, especially fans of Mike Tyson, the legendary factor who is no longer young will meet a talented young boxer and it could be that this match is not only for money but in my opinion there is also a possibility as a friendly event which is to test the abilities of each of the boxers. While taking a break for a while, Mike Tyson will compete against the young player Jake Paul and whether Mike Tyson's abilities and strengths will succeed in defeating Jake Paul later and Jake Paul is currently training very hard even though Mike Tyson is indeed no longer young but this should not be underestimated and I am sure the match will look exciting and very curious there will be unexpected surprises for sure.

It's a very bad idea to miss the surprise fact.

Exhibition fights are really just that for the sake of fun and entertainment and since its not that official then this is why match results and having those kind of some upset isnt really that shocking anymore. It turns out that this industry had become that a business now on which trying out to make some arrangement match up in between boxers or even with cross-sport. Going back into the topic between Mike and Jake then there would be no doubt that Mike would really be the upperhand despite of being old but you cant beat out the experiene and the power that he has. Yes, it detoriates but i do still believe that he could still give that solid punch. We are already that 1 month left for this exhibition fight and a little bit off topic that even with Pacquiao upcoming exhibition fight is also that good to look at but of course we do know on who will win the fight.

Yes, it will be a lot of money for both of them. However, after that, Mike should rest and Paul should continue fighting and making videos about the subject. So, it is fair for Mike to take as much time as he wants, but we should not take this fight seriously. If I'm not mistaken, Mike has a pod cast, not sure if it still continuing by this day or he stop it temporarily. And so with that, after this fight he can go back to it, and who knows, maybe appear in some hollywood movie as well. So he still has a lot in front of him, not just boxing but he can really rejected this idea of a fight and that he will get a huge chunk of money just for exhibitions fights and training in some days. For Jake Paul, he is still very young, ambitious and so he can continue to fight and his goals is to be a professional boxer s maybe one day he can accomplished that.

They go at each other to get the first hit; against a boxer like Jake, he will have trouble if he throws wild punches; Jake Paul is known as a good counterpuncher. It's time for OP to change the title or lock the thread and create a new thread on Jake Paul against Mike Perry.

I believe that since the goal of both is not to fight in itself but rather the money involved in everything, then I believe he fights as many times as necessary to be able to get even more money. I believe he wants to do it just once and stop. I really agree with you. Mike may have the worst disease, but if he can fight at least a little bit he will certainly always be superior to Paul, that is indisputable. It is up to us bettors to pay to see if Mike will be superior.

Yeah, it has been discussed several pages back that Jake Paul's opponent will be Mike Perry. But I think this is just a way for Jake to be busy or active instead of waiting for Mike Tyson to full heal himself and be back on this fight. So I think it's ok to keep this thread open, as when Jake Paul win, then a Mike Tyson fight will be on the horizon in November. And as what Jake said, we will see in this fight what he can bring in the potential Mike Tyson showdown. So let's see if Jake is sharp as what he claim to be, or to much weight will affect his performance as he is a CW but trying to gain some mass to get as close to HW.

The real winner here is Mike Perry, he will earn some money although he had just a couple of weeks to train. So most likely Jake just decided not to wait anymore and since they have the date July 20 reserved, he will have to fulfill it but I read that the venue has been moved to a different location. So it's a win-win for him, try to be busy and then wanted to show his fans and not disappoint them.

Jake is maximizing this weird era of boxing where there isn't too many headliners so these gimmick fights can be very financially fortunate for him. I don't remember another time in boxing that we seen this so the dude is just maximizing that. Why wouldn't he find another fight in the meantime. As long as people will pay he will keep doing this and the promoters will keep paying these guys tons of money to do it.

I just saw on Google that the Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul, fight has been rescheduled for Friday November, 15th. This is because Mike Tyson, developed an alcer flare and was forced to pause training by doctor's order. Mike, is however saying that on the new date that Jake Paul, is getting knocked out. "Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson Live Fight Rescheduled For November 15 - Netflix Tudum" https://www.netflix.com/tudum/articles/jake-paul-vs-mike-tyson-live-release-date-newsNot to burst the bubble mate, but your kinda late with that information, as again, it has been discussed several pages back and now we are talking about Mike's replacement because Jake Paul can't wait for that long date. So he needs to be active and show that he is really preparing for Mike Tyson for getting and replacement fighter in Mike Perry, a bare knuckle champion. I guess that the extended date will give Mike Tyson, more time to prepare for his epic battle and I know that a lot of boxing fans are looking forward to seeing iron Mike, to once again do what he knows how to do best in the ring. Although we'll have to wait and see whether he knocks out a younger Jake Paul.
We gonna see what will happen first between Jake Paul and Mike Perry. If everything goes as well, Jake Paul winning and so he can proceed with Mike Tyson. Not sure though if Perry pull a upset if fans is still hype on seeing Jake Paul coming from a lost against Mike Tyson in November.

Mike Perry should be a tough opponent for Jake. Perry hasn't lost in bare knuckle yet, though big boxing gloves will take away a lot of his strength. Exhibition fights are really just that for the sake of fun and entertainment and since its not that official then this is why match results and having those kind of some upset isnt really that shocking anymore. It's not an exhibition fight. It's an officially sanctioned pro fight (or at least was until it was postponed). It turns out that this industry had become that a business now on which trying out to make some arrangement match up in between boxers or even with cross-sport. Why are you making out like boxing has just recently become a business. It's always been like that. Boxers don't fight for free. They're prize-fighters and the recent influx of influencers taking it up is no different, they just go for the biggest money and headline grabbing fights as do all the other boxers.

Perry has an 0-1 record in boxing. I don’t believe his success in BKFC will translate all that well in gloved boxing. His wins in BKFC were against old MMA guys. He doesn’t really have an adequate level of experience to succeed against even a low level boxer like Jake Paul. The size difference will also be a factor against him. If Perry has a good chin, then Paul might struggle his way to a decision win but I don’t see an outcome where Perry is a winner.
